A few minutes earlier, on the premises of Dragon Heart Arcade's private living quarters, Fei-Ku and Mei-La snuck around the door of Kukorama's office as the sound of metal etching against duststone tiles rang from within. The twins rolled across the floor and sat at the base of the office's door.

"Father's been in there for ages...," Mei-La whispered to Fei-Ku as the two pressed their ears against the door.

"I know... you think he's sleepwriting again?" Xinia remarked as she led on the floor behind the twins.

"I wouldn't doubt it," a kid version of Zinvalia with pink hair and eyes (in a pink bat onesie) remarked in a snarky manner as she walked past. The trio watched kid Zinvalia aggressively stroll down the hall before turning away from the stairs and climbing down them backwards.

"Father, one of the little Zinvalias is walking around," Fei-Ku stated as he knocked on the Kukorama's office door. A deep groan mixed with dry coughs emanated from behind the door before it slowly swept open, and Kukorama wandered out while clasping a hand over his forehead.

"Is something wrong, Papa?" Mei-La murmured as she looked up at the dazed Kukorama with puppy dog eyes.

"You should really give your brain a rest once in a while," Xinia added as she stood up.

"I'm fine; it's just a little head pain... from dehydration," Kukorama muttered as he watched another kid version of Zinvalia with red eyes and hair, wearing a red snake onesie, walking behind the trio before the kid Zinvalia placed her hands on her forehead with a pained expression.

"Freak of Nature! Schmetterling head butted a bar stool!" Inaka shouted from downstairs. Kukorama placed a hand on his hip as he picked up the snake onesie-wearing kid Zinvalia using one of his pure black miruku tendrils. Kukorama placed and held the kid Zinvalia in his arm.

"You feeling alright, Nezzi?" Kukorama asked. Nezzi nodded and removed her hands from her forehead. Kukorama closed the door to his office and gestured to the others to follow him before he walked towards the top of the staircase.

"Say, boss, when will you make a Soul Golem Clone of me?" Xinia asked as she briskly strolled to catch up to Kukorama.

"When you're able to get an average score of A in the examinations," Kukorama stated. At hearing Kukorama's requirements, Xinia deflatedly lowered her head in a sulking manner.

"But the math parts are so confusing," Xinia mumbled disappointedly as the group walked down the staircase.
