《The Records Of Existence》Memory 2 Back Here Again

A heart beated, beated and beated, sending vibrations down the fleshy walls, a fleshy door opened. A man wearing a black cloak walked in, he knelt on the red floor, "The portal is ready, my lord."
Several hidden eyes squished open from the walls with a disgusting sound, like an animal about to have it's head cut off, it let out a shrieking voice, "gOoOOod..."
The room fell silent for a tense moment, then the heart continued, "gaThEr thE dEmoNS... it'ssSsSSsS tiMe..." The servant bowed, before carefully standing up and slowly walking out of the room.
Suddenly, half of the eyes twitched and popped, sending blood splattering all over the room. The blood seeped into the walls, then freshly born abominations crawled out from within, the heart boomed, "yOUr nAmE, LuOx, krEkAn, wUreLiN, seNtaLa..."
The voice paused as several of it's eyes turned to look at the last creature, they blinked independently, one by one. It seemed to be deep in thought, the creature stared back at the heart. The heart laughed, finally speaking again, this time the name carried a different feel, "xEnixXxx..."
Xenix's young eyes looked back without blinking, his eyes hid an ancient and tired soul. He sighed in his mind, back to the living. Again. A monotone voice spoke in his mind, reminding him the reason he was sick of this.

Xenix thought casually, 8th incarnation, Perception. Then power erupted from within his soul, the System grabbed it tightly, before chucking it back to him.

Your Skill [Commune With The Divine] received a message, "Xenix, you're late to the party." From Kobold Goddess Of Chaos.
Xenix mentally scratched his head, send reply, "Let me clean up a little, wait for me! Mom." Kek. He brought his focus to the outside world, still having eye contact with the heart. He grinned and clenched his fists, starfire blazed in both hands, "Nothing personal, Kekekekek."

Berserker- Crank Wars
Nearly 500 years have passed since the so-called apocalypse where souls dominated their control over the human vessels and grew into fierce monsters. A small frail kid saved humanity from getting wiped out of the face of the earth through his strangely powerful and unique techniques and taught them to the humans that followed him. He became a legend and humans developed special powers called cranks from his teachings. Humans couldn't procreate anymore. A very few thousands of last generation humans that remained or stayed alive by becaming crankers now constitutes the only humanity left on the planet. And they should continue to keep levelling up their cranks by slaying monsters and siphoning their souls to stay immortal and most of them tend to form teams to increase their odds. Everything was wrist-slittingly boring like that until one of those teams went ahead and mistakenly awakened the legend kid from his deep, and sound slumber. --------- One Chapter @Everyday -------------------- Unfortunately, I don't own the cover. I found it on Pinterest. And edited it a little.
