《The Journey to find the New Golden Emperor》CHAPTER 138 **Root Stopping Tonic**

“My dear, I also know that you teleported the Empress Dowager.” Matthew stated, trying to remember the world, or for them to leave their heaven. He wasn’t too sure which one it was…
Sahara looked away from him and clenched her hands, “Ah…You saw that uh? I was mad!”
Matthew attempted to unclench her hands and quietly said, “Mmm, I know…And I was mad as well. I cannot believe that they had such a thought and wanted to act upon it!”
Sahara took a hand of his into both of hers and breathed out, “I know it probably wasn’t wise to teleport the Empress Dowager, but…”
Matthew hated to admit to the silliness of it, but he wasn’t going say it out loud. Not only does he not care because he will always protect her from whatever she does, but he had noticed that Sahara can be touchy and do some crazy things…Like that of running away!
The worst thing about her, was her unpredictability, and her enemies should really know about it before they try something harsh on her…Because they might just end up in hell!
Knowing that they will have an interesting time when they go back to Purple Haven and see the Empress Dowager there, Matthew could only gently say, “My dear, you don’t need to report your reasoning to me. With whatever you choose to do, I will follow your lead! We will overcome things together! But…I do have a question.”
Sahara looked uncertain and guilty, and Matthew wanted to indulge her some more, but he was worried about Band One. “My sweet, lovely Princess…”
A snort interrupted Matthew and he looked at Sahara with wide eyes.
Sahara stopped and suddenly said, “Oh…You’re being serious…Sorry. I guess I’m still not used to compliments!”
Sighing, Matthew continued a moment later, “Will it be too much to ask if you can heal Band One?”
Looking over at Band One, Sahara suddenly blinked and moved her head to the side. Hearing the name of ‘Band One’ and slight memories popping into her head, she finally remembered who this fragile looking person was, “Ohmigod! That’s Band One!? Shit, no wonder I didn’t recognize him!”
Matthew hadn’t been able to help but let out a small, quick breath and then shake his head to his beloved’s words.
It really is a worry! Would she perhaps forget about this Prince one day too!?
Putting a hand to his forehead, Matthew shook his head to his silly woman!
“What? Sorry…Normally I’m not good with names but faces, but his face didn’t look familiar at all! Oh…I’ll heal him, no problem! But…Shouldn’t we get him outta here?”
Looking back at Sahara, Matthew sighed and looked at the unconscious Band One, “He is still here because we can’t find evidence to show that he’s innocent.”
“So stupid!” Sahara narrowed her eyes and frowned, “I don’t care, let’s get him out!”
“But…”
Sahara turned towards Matthew and raised her eyebrows, “But what? You still want him here when he’s innocent? Why don’t I make a dummy or something if your so worried? Honestly, this shouldn’t happen to innocent people…Because it could change them to want revenge. We need to get him out of here!”
Matthew relaxed and could only soften his stare at his beloved, “I know he needs to leave. I have been trying to get him out of here since he was first taken captive…”

Sahara interrupted him by putting a hand on his shoulder and sneakily smiling…She was up to something!
“How about I put a real criminal in his place then? I could try to get them to look like Band One! Oh…They brought someone else in earlier? We could try him!”
Matthew went into thought for a moment and then gave of a strange smile. It sounds like an interesting plan…At the same time though, Matthew was reminded of when he had first thought Sahara had been killed and seeing something that had resembled her appearance with a knife in its chest…This time…This time, it will be different!
Band Two was asked to find out about a criminal that would resemble Band One’s body type the most, in the way of height and facial features. In doing this, it was how they found out that the ‘criminal’, who had come in earlier, was indeed the personal bodyguard of the Empress, in which Matthew was able to recognize straight away.
Since the bodyguard had been known of inside of the prison, they had been treating him well, because the prison guards and masters would think that he would most likely be released and taken back to the Empress’s side once again. The Empress would not let him stay in here very long and someone had already gone to inform her of his imprisonment and about how he was going to get released. Since the Emperor himself had put him in the prison, it wasn’t an easy matter, but it also wasn’t something that the Empress couldn’t handle, so she made her own plans.
Matthew had already decided then, that they were going to try the bodyguard first, for him to take over ‘Band One’s’ place, even if he was a lot more well-built then that of the current Band One.
It was also a good way of keeping the bodyguard in a ‘safe’ place, without the Empress knowing where he was, so doing this could also be an advantage to them in the future…Even if there was a chance that ‘Band One’ would be beheaded for his crimes, which may not happen as it hasn’t happened yet, it still wasn’t much of a worry for Matthew. It wasn’t like he was completely relying upon the bodyguard staying alive to claim any kind of innocence. But death to ‘Band One’ has already been delayed to this point, so Matthew was sure that they had some time to figure out what to do, before any ‘beheading’ would take place. And since that was being thought, then the thought of keeping the real Band One out of sight was also something they were talking of. Even though he was being healed back to his original state, they didn’t want to take the chance of his escape becoming known to any others, so this was going to be kept a secret, from even the emperor…
Band Two brought in a body, as he had to knock him out, and it landed on the floor in a big thud!
Sahara had healed Band One for this short time, and Band One was now awake once again and knew of their plans but was not sure about the possible outcome…And the problems that would arise for doing this…
Even though Band One tried to suggest his worries to others, the others still preferred to get him out and deal with the repercussions afterwards, making him feel insecure, by knowingly putting more danger upon his Master’s.

Matthew stopped Sahara from healing Band One, getting her attention by whispering something into her ear, making the others feel slightly uncomfortable…It wasn’t just about how close they were, it was also because they were in a prison and they felt the need to accomplish what they were doing in haste. Why couldn’t their Master get their Princess’s attention in another way!?
Her eyes opened wide, and she looked at Matthew in shock, then she laughed.
Both Band One and Band Two stared at her in astonishment, as they continued to think that this was not the time or place for this kind of thing!
Can we please get back to business you two!?
Matthew looked away from her and looked everywhere else but Band One and Band Two, making the atmosphere strange and different to the seriousness it was beforehand.
Shaking her head, Sahara touched the personal bodyguard of the Empress and over half an hour, his body had lost a lot of muscle and body fat, making him look weaker and unhealthy.
Sahara didn’t find it all that hard to do, to reduce muscles and get rid of the fat…She had seen Zeus’s legs, before she had healed them, she had also seen Band One’s body just now…It wasn’t like she had no idea on what to do, especially when, on top of that, she also had tried to build up her own muscles to look more like a male but then had made her muscles go back down once again, to go back to looking like a female.
Healing…Or in this case, deforming, was getting a lot easier to do now and since her spiritual essence had nearly fully recovered once again, Sahara had no worries…
There was also a visitor while Sahara was busy, he was brought in by Band Two, as he had left once again. This visitor was able to claim that the bodyguard of the Empress was going to give the Princess the ‘Root Stopping Tonic’, making Matthew almost loss his self-control!
Not only did the Empress want to kill the child that was not even born yet but stop his Princess from bearing any other children as well!
This was too much!
The Empress had done so much to his beloved, that Matthew was certain that she was starting to think death may be in her plans very soon!
She hadn’t gotten her way the first time, luckily for his Princess, but only having to stay in her quarters and then became sick, felt like it wasn’t enough punishment…Now…Now the Empress would find out that her bodyguard had gone missing, perhaps in time to see that her ‘Root Stopping Tonic’ had not been delivered as well…It was obvious the Empress would not stop until Sahara had nothing left…For a woman to never be able to produce children…
How could he let her continue to try to harm his Princess!
It looked like…Her death may even be at his own hands because of the troubles and anger that she has caused!
Looking at his beloved, while she was busy doing the most that she could do to help his friend come out of prison, Matthew felt like she would be best to get away from Green Haven and to never return!
Even if she was able to not leave as a criminal, by somehow getting out of being a ‘kidnaper of royalty’…Sahara was still in danger, because of the Empress…
Thinking of this now, it didn’t make him happy! Having one’s reputation become tarnished, it is a problem to fix that kind of situation! Then, what plans would the Empress have!? It seems that she was blindly fixated on disliking Sahara, even though Sahara had even brought her back from death!
Matthew was sure that the Empress will try her best to continue to ruin his Princess! If only…Sahara hadn’t been forced into healing her, half of their problems wouldn’t matter at the moment!
Shaking his head to the misfortune of what they will have to face in the near future, Matthew couldn’t help but wonder why these misfortunes keep happening to his bride! Being poisoned and lost, to that of not being accepted and bullied against…To now, where she may have acted out in anger, but he was sure that the Empress Dowager was still alive and untouched and that she will probably return safe and sound…
Sighing, Matthew will do as much as he can to help to keep his Princess safe…And if that means that they never return back to Green Haven, then so be it!
…In another ten minutes, the new ‘Band One’ had grown a beard, like the original Band One had, and was now shackled into Band One’s shackles.
Within another five minutes, all but the personal bodyguard of the Empress, now to be known as the ‘The traitor who tried to kill the emperor’, had disappeared.
Matthew insisted that they do something so that the bodyguard couldn’t speak, so that was why they hadn’t left straight away, because he couldn’t let on to the possibility that the man would still somehow state that he wasn’t Band One, possibly giving away that Band One had escaped this night!
Now that they had gone, not long after, the Empress had sent a servant to bring out the bodyguard, of course using her status to release him. Even though the emperor had casted the bodyguard to the prison and had blocked his cultivation base, he had not added any other details and with the status of the Empress, the guards went to the bodyguard’s original cell to release him immediately…But…He was no longer there…
The Prison door had been locked, yet the person was not inside…
With Band One’s cell quite a distance away from the bodyguard’s original cell, the idea that the missing person still being inside the prison and had been put into another person’s shackles and changed into a weaker man, didn’t enter their minds at all!
To Matthew’s relief, the Empress does not find the bodyguard…But she does put the blame of the bodyguard’s disappearance onto Sahara, openly discussing this right in front of the emperor…Who somewhat could believe it could be true that Sahara might have had a hand in it…As, it wasn’t a secret anymore that Sahara could make things appear and disappear…
The emperor was getting really frustrated and annoyed with how much trouble this daughter in law was causing!
