CHAPTER 204: Battle Strategy
"Master, this isn't just any monster but one with a top-notch Fiend subsidiary Bloodline. The lethality of the Plasma Predator comes from the Plasma Energy they control with the assistance of their Bloodline." MJ's voice sounded in his mind.
Jay long ago knew about the two powerhouses that stand at the pinnacle of the Universe.
However, the information he received on the Fiend Race and the Sentinels was mostly the same knowledge as the rest of the Universe.
Only when MJ receive higher grade access from the System could he learn more about them.
Although Jay was oblivious to the inner working of those two sides, he guessed the ongoing Trial Program would catch their attention.
The emergence of a monster with Fiend subsidiary Bloodline itself was proof of Fiends' involvement.
It was just that Jay couldn't have expected the Fiend Race to go as far as willing to wage war against the Sentinel Order to interfere in the ongoing Trial Program.
"Master, it all makes sense now as to why the monsters we encountered in the 33rd Trial Zone behaved that way. Unlike what I assumed, it wasn't a monster with Hive-mind type Innate Talent but one that possessed a Fiend Subsidiary Bloodline. The exclusive ability from that Bloodline allows it to corrupt any monster into following its commands." MJ reasoned.
The incidents in the past, when he passed through the neighbouring Trial Zones, began to fall in place and made Jay realise the Plasma Predator in front of him was the culprit behind it all.
Jay didn't dwell much on the circumstances that led to the unforeseen situation and instead diverted his attention to what needed to be done to overcome the predicament.
Jay started by mentally communicating with Felarial regarding the response from the System.

Felarial's eyes met with Jay's as he shook his head with uncertainty, 'Using my authority as this Trial Region's Tournament Manager, I already reported the situation to the System. The reply I received was to wait for the Sentinel Order to rescue us. But I doubt we could survive till then.'
With Felarial basically admitting that even he couldn't take down the abomination of a monster, the direness of the situation stepped up even more.
Jay was well aware that the monster that latched its eyes on him contributed most to the danger looming over their heads.
Although the 10,000-strong monster army was a pretty deterring factor, the Alpha Chosen weren't helpless as they numbered around 9000.
The only issue with those numbers was that around one-tenth of the monster army were Tier-3 monsters.
All those 1000 Tier-3 monsters being Low-Phase ones didn't reduce the lethality of the situation since the number of Alpha Chosen who could take on a Low-Phase Tier-3 monster were just around 60.
The odds of those 6o Alpha Chosen taking on a thousand Tier-3 monsters and succeeding were pretty low, no matter how one looked at it.
It wasn't that there was no hope left. As long as they could drag out the battle for the Sentinels to arrive, there were chances for survival.
All that left was finding a way to accomplish that with minimal casualties. For that, MJ came up with a strategy by considering numerous factors into consideration.
The incredibly fast computation power of MJ allowed him to devise a battle strategy in mere seconds.
MJ factored in the combat performance each Alpha Chosen had displayed so far in the Tournament to choose the most suitable ones they could fight among the incoming army of monsters.
Jay delayed no longer and used Olivia's skill to mentally establish a connection with every Alpha Chosen in the Tournament.

The next moment his voice sounded in the minds of around 9000 Alpha Chosen in the Colosseum, 'Although the army of monsters outnumbers us, don't let that affect your will to fight and survive. Follow Olivia's lead along with the instructions I am about to provide you all, and we just might survive this.'
As his words continued, everyone turned to look at Jay, who stood at the center of the massive Colosseum, standing a hundred meters across the abomination of a monster.
The initial terror they faced at the incoming loads of monsters had substantially dropped. It wasn't just because of Jay's words, but due to the AoE buff they all received from him.
It was none other than the effect of Kay's 3rd Innate Exclusive skill,.
Jay activated it amidst his mass telepathy communication, and the AoE buff-type skill granted all his allies a 10% increase to their overall stats and recovery rates for an hour.
By doing so, Jay's presence was elevated to a different height altogether. To everyone, he resembled a valiant commander leading his army to victory.
Not a single one questioned his authority. To everyone, one particular thought ran in their minds, one way or another. If there was a way to survive the predicament, they believed it had to be if they followed him.
As soon as Jay's words sinked in, MJ took it from there onwards. Through the Jay had established, he transmitted each Alpha Chosen's role in the battle strategy against the monster army.
All that was done in a matter of seconds, and several hundreds of Alpha Chosen began to rush out of the Colosseum.
It wasn't out of desperation but a part of the strategy, rather than sticking to a narrow battlefield, which was easily prone to friendly fire and confusion. It was in their best interest to spread out to the entire Tournament Island.
Another reason was to distance themselves from the center of the Colosseum, where Jay and the Plasma Predator were about to clash with one another.
If they were caught up in the crossfire, the clash of such a scale would spell doom for any of the Alpha Chosen.
