Caffeine was so happy!

He got to ride in Dearest Human's lap while other Dearest Human made the rumbling place go. Napping in a lap was so much better than not in a lap, and sometimes he even got belly rubs, too!

Now he didn't have to wait for Dearest Human to go home to see both of them. They stayed with him in the rumbling place, and it was very good! Two breakfasts every morning! Two dinners! Both Dearest Humans liked to share their snacks if he ate his own food fast enough... and they liked to eat pizza a lot! Pizza had so many good snacks on it!

It was even better because Dearest Human did a lot of very hard thinking now, and it made him hungry to think so much. Which meant more snacks! Snacks all day!

He sat up from his wonderful cuddly nap when he heard the cold box open! Snack time!

"Damn, thought he was out cold," Dearest Human said something.

"The one thing he loves more than anything, is eating," other Dearest Human said something. "You know that."

Caffeine didn't know what they were saying; they didn't use any magic words like snack or treat, but he could smell it. Pizza!

"Can't believe you aren't getting fat eating all that." Dearest Human smelled sad... like he wanted it too. But that was silly, he could eat all the pizza he wanted.

"I'm starving..." Other Dearest Human smelled hungry and grouchy. He did too much anger shouting today... that always made him grouchy.

"I think Caff is starving too."

Caffeine wagged his tail as he stared at the pizza. His tail wagged faster when both Dearest Humans made the happiness sound. He loved when they laughed. That was the best! Almost better than pizza... but happiness sound and pizza together, that was the best!

"Here you go, Caff. Enjoy."

Caffeine gobbled up the pizza meat Dearest Human held out, then licked his fingers. Best day ever!
