Hello, hello!
First of all, thanks for reading Modern Awakening. Your support is what keeps my dream of living as an author alive. Your persistence when I mess up is much more important than you might realize.
Shen's journey has been long, and he still has a long way to go. In the meantime, I want to invite you to tread another Path. A more fast-paced one filled with intrigue and massacring enemies. I invite you to enter a portal to another universe—to a new world.
Eternal life can be infinitely boring... or not.
Available on Kindle Unlimited! Read now on Amazon!

What happens when you get a warrior who reached the peak of power in the whole universe through cultivation, ask him to start over so he can save an alternate dimension, and add LitRPG/GameLit elements to it?
The Immortal Conqueror series is what happens!
Or, to give you a properly edited book blurb:
An immortal master without purpose finds renewed meaning in the form of an inter-dimensional distress call.
The plea: that he saves the Universe's Core.
The complication: to pass between worlds he must relinquish the power he has amassed and begin his journey to supremacy anew.
Invigorated by the notion of a worthy opponent, Aaron pays the toll and steps through the portal.
On the other side, he finds a medieval world controlled by a game-like system. Holographic panels appear at a mere thought, defining each living being in numbers, determining their classes, and changing their very selves. Conflict, wild beasts, and magical items are commonplace in the local denizens' lives.
In a world where might makes right and morality is fluid at best, the weakened Aaron at first tries to lie low. However, it is soon evident that there is no hiding who he is, what the Everwar forged him into.

The Immortal Conqueror has arrived—and will leave a river of blood in his wake as he once again ascends the path to power.
A long time ago, in a galaxy far away, I started the Immortal Conqueror series under another pen name, Edward Castle. It was available here on Royal Road with a mostly positive reception (before it entered hiatus and people got upset). When I was preparing to release it as a book, the worst part of the pandemic and some personal issues ensued. I didn't touch it for years, then briefly got back to it, more shit happened in my life, and I left it collecting dust in a metaphorical drawer.
Last week, I finally got my shit together and released it.
It went through many reviews, including professional editing. It's actually fun to read, I promise you that. If you like an OP MC, this book is for you.
Or, if you just want to support an indie author, I would greatly appreciate it, too.
To give you a quick overview of what to expect:
- LitRPG
- Cultivation
- Epic action and adventure
- Sword and (a lot of) sorcery
- Medieval society
- Strong protagonist starts over, then it becomes a fast weak to strong novel
- The protagonist is overpowered but not invulnerable
- Tries to blend in, but it doesn't work, and he starts killing a lot of enemies
Give it a try on Amazon! (Did I mention it's available on Kindle Unlimited?)
Join the fun!
Conquer worlds with the absolute immortal who is on a highway to the peak of a new universe!
