Hey folks,
It’s been a hell of a journey on here, cracking 11,000 reads on this story has been incredible, the reviews have been so heartening and I am grateful to everyone who took the time to read and comment. From those I’ve interacted with on Discord to those who have rated the story from the bottom of my heart thank you.
I’ve made the decision that we’ve hit the end point of chapters being posted on this platform for now until I start working on book 2. The reasons for this are mainly that we are getting to the very end of the story of book 1 now and I’d rather not spoil it for those of you who will go out and read the finished product once it’s edited and published.
I only need a couple of beta readers for the last few chapters just to ensure it makes sense and the conclusion and lead in to the next book are satisfactory.
For those who wish to be one of those readers please PM me either here or on Discord, for those remaining I won’t abandon you entirely. If you check my Author page here I will be posting new work maybe even in the LitRPG genre that people like so much here. I will also be continuing to post attached to this story for a few more weeks as I have “The Chapters that Didn’t Make it.” Part 2 originally featured the time skip at the very start of the second arc with it taking place immediately after Edward’s knighting. I didn’t like where the story went in that instance and they’re not my finest work, but for those of you who have read up till now I thought it might be fun to share with ya’ll.

The road map from here is simply to wrap up the last few chapters of the story so far, once that’s done my Editor will take it off my hands for a while, and in that time I’ll be collaborating with my Illustrator to help make it look pretty with cover art of Edward and some nice chapter headers. Once that’s all done formatting will happen and once I’m happy with it there we begin talking with Agents and Publishers about the direction we go. One way or another, whether it’s through traditional means or through self publishing it, the book will release in the New Year some time and when that happens I will announce it here, as well as on my Facebook page and Patreon.
Thank you all so much once more for your support and just for letting me know you enjoyed my work, I hope you’ll keep reading my future works.
Upcoming Chapters:
Chronicles of Estrella:
My long neglected foray into VRMMORPG LitRPG storywriting. You can read the first two chapters already, chapter 3 will be on its way in the next few days.
The Dark Lord Chronicles:
A more Sci Fi LitRPG also with VRMMORPG and dystopian elements that I will have coming out soon, though it will launch on my Patreon first.
Cheers all,
CA.

The Lady's Handbook of Intrigue and Murder (High Fantasy Politics)
Summary:The daughter of a dying house is summoned to the Imperial City to meet and perhaps marry a handsome prince. It sounds like a fairy tale. Except Mydea doesn’t have the advantage of a half-forgotten childhood encounter, supreme magic to match the highest echelons of society, or even the privilege of an ally. In order to survive and make a name for herself, she must beat the Imperial Court at its own game. At least no one's tried to kill her—yet. Notes: Basically, if you liked the magic of Harry Potter and the politics of Game of Thrones, you'll probably like this. While the first book focuses on the female lead, and the interplay of competing regional and imperial interests, subsequent books will also cover warfare and how I imagine that differs wildly from historical norms with the introductions of a magical aristocracy.
