The main reason I want to do this is so that during a storm no one needs to risk being on deck. It will also reduce the amount of crew that needs to be left on the ship once we reach the peninsula. I plan to see how many elves want to remain as crew, then add beastmen.

After all, even before phase two, the ship can still be used to establish trade with the mainland. I have put too much effort into this ship to let it just sit somewhere and gather dust. Come to think of it, I have absolutely no idea what we have to trade or what we need.

That will all have to be left to Pol, who I haven't seen in what feels like forever. From what Myria has told me he is doing fine and he finally got around to marrying Annya. That is no surprise, but I am a little sad that I missed the wedding, but I don't blame them for not waiting.

Seeing that it is getting late, I take a break and head back to the beach. When I enter the tent I find Lin, the babies, and Nala and Albion are all here. Since there is still a little time until dinner, I convince Nala and Albion to watch the babies.

Then I shapeshift into human form and take Lin on a walk along the beach. The sun is currently in the process of setting and the view is quite beautiful. As we walk I put my arm around Lin's shoulders, which makes her smile.

Lin says "Is there something you wanted to talk about?"

"Nope."

Lin says "So this walk is just for pleasure?"

"Yep."

Hearing that, Lin smiles as she puts her arm around my waist and we just enjoy ourselves. We don't say anything else and just enjoy each other's company. We walk all the way around the bay before we turn back and return to the tent for dinner.

Of course, with the kids around there is no chance of having a romantic dinner. However, we still have a pleasant dinner with the kids and after dinner I help put the babies to bed. I also give Mulan and Mushu some attention before they go to bed as well.

After they are in bed I give Lin a long kiss before leaving the tent and dropping shapeshift. Then I fly back to the ship and land on my new landing platform to test it out. The platform is completely stable and barely moves when my weight lands on it.

Then I enter the cabin through the doors, which is a bit of a tight fit for me. I widen the doors so that I can fit through easier and then move over by the bed. I had an idea of something nice I can do for Lin, so I turn the privacy screen into an actual wall.

Then I line that entire wall with bookshelves and create a comfy reading chair for her. I make a light gem and put it directly above the chair so that she won't strain her eyes. Since I don't have the materials to make cushions for the chair I will ask the crafters.

From now until we reach the peninsula, all books I find will go here for Lin to read. Of course, this isn't entirely selfless, if Lin knows more I can ask her instead of having to search for the information. My only regret is that I wasn't able to find and rob a library in the Magic Kingdom.

Although, now that I think about it, I am still within gate range of the capital. Now that the auction is over the security might be lower, it might be possible to raid them. I will talk to Lin about it later, she will know more about the libraries and if it will be worth the risk.

Thinking of that I open a soulscape, invite all the kids, and then invite the three women. This time the soulscape I created is the new ship so that everyone can explore it. With everyone else exploring the ship, I take Lin into the cabin to see the changes.

Lin says "Are these bookshelves for me?"

"Of course. Tomorrow you can go tell the crafters what color you want the chair to be. Also, I wanted to ask you about the libraries in the capital."

Lin says "What about them?"

"Which one would be the best to rob? Do you think it is worth the risk?"

Lin says "Well, the best one to rob would be the one in the academy."

"Not the one in the central tower?"

Lin says "No, the central tower library is full of books of law and other useless things. The academy is the center for learning and research, so its library is the best in the kingdom. However, because of that it is also the best protected."

"How familiar with it are you?"

Lin says "Very. I spent a lot of time there and also borrowed a lot of books from it."

Hearing that I take Lin with me and move away from the ship, then I ask her to recreate the library. She has a good memory, not only does she recreate the library, she recreates the entire academy. She is also able to duplicate all of the academy's defenses that she is aware of.

Before doing anything else, I go throughout the entire academy and study the defenses. Other than a few mechanical locks all of the defenses are magical enchantments. What interests me though, is there is a huge building that is full of cages.

"Lin, what is this area for?"

Lin says "That's the beast wing. It contains all of the beasts that the academy has for study and experimentation."

"Are most of these cages normally filled?"

Lin says "Always. The academy not only buys any beast they can find, but they have their own teams that capture beasts full time. Although, not all of the cages contain normal beasts, some contain the results of experiments."

"And all of them have magical locks?"

Lin says "Of course! Why?"

"Because now it will be easy to rob the library."

Lin says "What do you mean?"

"I will dispel all magic within the academy. Not only will the library's defenses be gone, but the beasts will be freed. The chaos they will cause will be the perfect cover for the robbery."

Lin says "You can't do that! The academy is full of innocent students, countless of them would die!"

"You have a point and I don't like killing innocents. However, I really want to get my hands on that library."

Lin says "It is a nice thought, but I don't really need the library."

"It is not just for you. It is also for Yui and the future mages of the peninsula."

Lin says "In that case, can you wait a few weeks?"

"We should still be within gate range by then, but why?"

Lin says "There is a national holiday coming up, most of the students will go home for it. That should reduce the innocent casualties by a lot."

"Alright, I will wait."

Lin says "Thank you!"
