“Shocking reports coming from Trevias in the region of Leltial. The city’s renowned Cylas College has been the victim of an attack by an unknown force. The building located in the city limits is mostly unharmed, but the internal transportation network has been substantially damaged. This has led to hundreds of rooms inside the college becoming impossible to access.

Cylas College, the foremost place of magical craft and learning in Legoria, is host to a unique matrix of Transportation Gateways (Jump Doors) that grant near limitless work space in a limited area. While this matrix was and is a marvel of runic engineering, it falls victim to the same weaknesses of all Jump Gates Matrixes by requiring a central Matrix Heart.

Investigators found that the Matrix Heart of Cylas was damaged in a calculated attack on the college. This also appears to be the only physical damage to the structure of Cylas college.

In related news; The Headmaster of Cylas, Ander Plact, stepped down the day before the attack and has not been seen since. His whereabouts are currently unknown, but investigators place him as one of the prime suspects in the attack. What involvement he may have had or for what reason he would attack the school remain unclear.

The attack took place late at night, roughly 2 hours after midnight, while the majority of the college alumni were resting. The college’s census statistics are not made available to the public, but an estimated total of anywhere between 200 and 1000 college members are reported as missing, a further 85 college members who for various reasons were not caught in the attack have been confirmed as safe and are being treated where needed.

None of the third or fourth company is allowed to interfere with Nedely’s boy for any reason. Like it or not the little squirt is old enough to make his own decisions. Keep near the posts in case this order changes, the old man might change his mind at any moment and we’ll need to secure the boy.

Lastly, move non-essential personnel to our operation in Greto Viel before the shareholders catch wind that the boy was at the college. We’re looking at a hell of an investor meeting already and everyone hearing that Nedely’s boy skipped out of school the day before it blew up won’t look good.
