《The Legacy of Gilgamesh》V2 Chapter 2

Amidst the darkness and chaos, a disoriented feeling descended from above. Slowly, Kronos regained consciousness, his mind clearing as he awoke from his slumber.
As his senses fully returned, he found himself in a drastically different place. Before him stretched a shadowy forest, its dense canopy of ancient trees suggesting the passage of countless years.
Clutched in his hands was a bow, its polished wood and taut string ready to be used. His gaze fixed into the distance, as if aiming at a distant target.
A realization struck him, and he muttered, "This is..."
His astonishment grew as he examined the bow. Just moments ago, he had been on the precipice of madness and death. And now, in the blink of an eye, he stood in a realm unfamiliar to him.
Memories began flooding his mind, like pieces of a fragmented puzzle falling into place. He recalled being a mere fourteen years old, living as a regular hunter within the boundaries of a small domain nestled within the vast expanse of the Holy Empire's many kingdoms.
Despite the haze that lingered over his memories, his anger remained a fiery constant within him. "You’re dead," he vowed under his breath, his resolve unshaken.
Kronos winced, clutching his head as the flood of memories subsided, leaving him momentarily disoriented. Gradually, he regained his bearings and surveyed his surroundings.
He came to recognize that he was a hunter by trade, residing in a place called Sacos. Born a God, now a Spector of his former self, he was taken in by a family of hunters, they had found him abandoned within the very woods he now stood in. An elderly man had extended his compassion, adopting Kronos and raising him as his own. Kronos' father, though skilled, was advancing in age and lacked the vigor of his youth.

However, Kronos had grown to become an exceptional hunter himself, surpassing his peers in skill despite his apparent physical limitations and void of memory. Within the confines of his region, his name held a certain renown.
As the reality of his situation dawned on him, he left his current location and embarked on a journey defined by the path set by his resurrected memories. He retraced his steps back home, guided by the vivid recollections of his former life.
Resuming his day-to-day existence, Kronos found himself mirroring the past version of himself. The differences were subtle, mostly involving his actions when alone. During those solitary moments, he would engage in meditation and recite obscure scriptures.
These enigmatic practices had a purpose deeply rooted in his history as a deity. A god in a previous life, he possessed an intimate understanding of mana, the essence of existence. Without the need for spoken words, as his heart formed intent, wordless knowledge flowed through his being, an unspoken communion between his consciousness and his very flesh.
