《Chances of Death: Seven Decks Book I》Book 2 - Chapter 83: Pitt-T-Full Fight!

K.I.S.S. Keep It Simple Stupid, Jen thought to herself, as she watched Lord Dickless running towards Sam's, Tamako's, and Pudding's location. During their run towards the teleportation pad, Jen had used her psych skill to snare and control a Tweety Claw raptor that she spotted flying overhead. They were oddly shaped birds with a very small face and body, but with an enormous wingspan to support their massive legs and razor sharp six-fingered talons. They didn't kill their prey with their beaks, but would snatch, crush, and shred them with their muscled finger talons. Most importantly for her, they were ridiculously fast.
When Pudding heard the description from Jen as her Tweety Claw returned from scouting, he'd told them, "We be in bad luck, but could be much, much worse. The elf do nothing, but help Lord Deathless find us. We be lucky that rest of his party not be wid him, or we surely be all dead." Unfortunately, Pudding went on to explain to Jen and the rest, that Lord Deathless was incredibly strong, fast, and Pudding had never seen anything in the Second Deck or the Oracle Deck that could kill the man. Pudding had said, "He have a mighty high tolerance for pain too, but he do feel the pain, and even if you were to find a way to break one of his nearly indestructible bones, it be self-healed within jus a few moments. However, if you can help me, I can stop him, but if no able to help, we all need to run in separate directions. He shood follow me, and no worry about you...for now anyways. The Oracle Deck jus open, and his party is wanting to take me and jump there immediately."
Jen had been frustrated that because of the incredible pace the elf and Dickless traveled, they would certainly catch up with them before they made it to the nearest jump pad, so she ordered them to stop and spend the next hour or so preparing for Dickless to catch up with them.

Now, Jen was watching as the elf turned away from Dickless, and Dickless actually started running even faster towards where Sam, Tamako, and Pudding waited. Jen couldn't help but worry as she watched this unstoppable killer racing towards two of the people she loved the most in the world, and if her plan didn't work, she would know it was her plan that got them killed.
******
Lord Deathless slowed down his running as he neared Bob and the other two. He figured once they saw that he'd found them, that Bob was going to beg him to spare the lives of these two people that had made the mistake of helping him.
As he now walked toward them, Lord Deathless said in a disgustingly friendly voice, "Soup Bowl Bob...why don't you want to hang out with us again. We always treat you and Jee so well. Now you've went and done it again, and I'm going to have to make an example of your new friends."
Lord Deathless looked towards the man that looked strained and tense, and said, "Don't worry, I won't rape your woman for long, I'm just going to....AHKKKK!!!! Fuck! What the Fuck!"
****
Jen waited patiently until Dickless was passing the giant boulder near the base of the mountain, where Sam, Tamako, and Pudding were waiting, and she sent in the Tweety Claw at full speed towards the back of Dickless' head, and had Tweety snatch and rip out a chunk of Dickless' hair. "Shit that was close!" Jen stress-whispered to herself as Dickless' reaction punch just clipped the end of Tweety's wing, but didn't stop Tweety from escaping.
Deathless was surprised, but the bird didn't really phase or hurt him, and he laughed at the tiny woman that was now charging towards him using some sort of "weak-ass taunt skill", and said, "Mr. Constipated, was your bird supposed to distract me while your TINY woman somehow lands a surprise punch or kick to knock me out."

Lord Deathless didn't even change his stance as the tiny woman neared.

Jen watched as Sam made the last gesture of his lightning spell, and released the mana that he'd been building and channeling for the last 30 minutes or so. She grimaced as the waterfall of lightning flooded down on Dickless, and thought to herself, "It's not as focused, refined, or nearly as powerful as his enchanted lightning tattoo, but it was still pumped with quite a bit of power."
A hair of a second after the lightning cleared, Jen noticed Tamako change directions slightly and slam the multi-ton giant boulder haphazardly balanced next to the spiked pit, that Sam's lightning strike just blasted Dickless down into. Jen still couldn't believe their luck, and that they'd just gathered all their mechanical trap materials from the rental house, and as a result, were able to build a well-hidden pit trap. Jen cheered as the boulder toppled over and crashed down both on top of, and into the pit. She messaged to Tamako, "Hell yea! He didn't jump out of the pit before the boulder crushed him!"
Unfortunately, even from her distance, she noticed Tamako shaking her head, and Jen could see through her onboard video that something was making the boulder shudder and shake. Jen's heart sank as Pudding just stayed right where he was, as Sam and Tamako took off running away as fast as they could. "You can do it!" She silently urged.
