“Does this change your mind?” I said as I showed my tattoo.
Both Verser’s and Basnir’s eyes began to glow as they saw my tattoo. Since they are working in the arena they wouldn’t be scared of blessed. Basnir definitely would view me as someone superior to him since he is all about fighting. For Verser, it means that he has someone special under him. At least for the time being. This might also prevent him from plotting against me.
[ Verser ]
“Wait… You mean you’re… blessed?” He whispered so no one would hear.
[ Basnir ]
“You’re truly special Eric! Hahaha!”
[ Eric ]
“Indeed I am.”
[ Verser ]
“Haha… You’re gonna give me a heart attack. I made so fucking a good deal. All right. You want someone high in the ranking. I'll find you someone!”
For the rest of the day, I couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched all the time. At first, it was hard to tell who was watching me but while we ate dinner I could clearly see Basnir admiring me the whole time. Usually, he was staring at Gezznir.
[ Gezznir ]
“I appreciate that Basnir isn’t looking at me all the time but I wonder. What happened that he is looking at you now?”
[ Basnir ]
“Because he is special.”
[ Gezznir ]
“What do you mean? Verser randomly brought him as a champion but what else?”
[ Eric ]
“I’m blessed that’s why.” As I said that, Gezznir jumped over the table and placed a knife on my throat.
[ Gezznir ]
“Blessed? By who?” He said with a cold voice. No hesitation at all.
[ Eric ]
“What the hell?! Can you put that away?!”

“I asked you a question!” He said as his grip on my shoulder got stronger.
In a matter of seconds, I grabbed him and threw him to the ground. I tried to hold my grip but he somehow got away and grabbed his sword. I couldn’t understand his behavior at all. It was so sudden and he didn’t hide his intentions at all.
[ Eric ]
“Are you trying to kill me?!”
[ Gezznir ]
“Just fucking tell me who blessed you!”
[ Eric ]
“I’m blessed by Loki! Happy now?!”

“That’s a bit of relief…”
[ Basnir ]
“I like a good fight but I think it’s time to stop.” Said Basnir with panic in his voice. He is big and looks strong but he felt lost in all that commotion.
Gezznir went to his room without a word. While he was going away, Dian moved around the columns so he wouldn’t be noticed by Gezznir. Pulling something like that out of nowhere and just going away. Someone here has serious issues…
[ Dian ]
“What was all that about?” He asked as he came back to the table.
[ Eric ]
“Like I know. Basnir? You know anything?”
[ Basnir ]
“Me neither. Actually, I don’t know much about Gezznir.”
[ Dian ]
“Nothing? After knowing him for a long time?”
[ Basnir ]
“Well… Unlike me, he became salve out of his free will. He doesn’t speak often. Especially about himself.”
[ Eric ]
“Secret about his past… Yup. A guy with a bad or sad history. I hope he won’t kill me again…”
