Before him was a grand cathedral decked in white and gold. Its architecture looked almost like an exact copy of Familia, only shorter and had less spires. It's surrounded by four gazebo-like structure, each of which containing a large, rotating ball that radiated holy energy. The road leading to the main entrance was flanked with pillars and statues of honorable heroes, all in their majestic pose of beheading demons or in prayer. The air was thick of holy power, but not suffocating those who were sensitive to it. It was calming, making you feel safe in this sacred area.

Overall, this was truly a glorious site to perform any holy duties.

"How much money did they burn for this...?" Andre whispered to himself as his eyes looked up to see the top of the spires. But at this distance it seemed like they pierced the heavens.

"Amazing, isn't it? I've visited this place so many times, but the beauty of this place always seems to make me unable to breathe--in a good way. There's nothing like it," the first guard commented.

"Yeah, you're right," Andre replied, "forget about IDR this would cost a gazillion of dollars in my place..."

He ignored the confused attendants at the word 'dollar' and 'IDR', and climbed the stairs towards the main entrance, where the guards barred their entries.

"Halt! The Egrery is still in session. Visitors shall not pass. Head to the side entrance if you require healing."

"Oh, we are not visitors, good sirs," the second maid answered, "we are accompanying an important person and he would very much like to see the holy blessing from our merciful Mashiach."

The guards stared at Andre disbelievingly.

"Your status is of no use in this sacred ground. We still cannot grant you entry."

This time the first guard stepped in, "Sir guards, would you be so kind to grant us the assistance of the Attending Sisters?"

"You..." the guard on the left side of the door tightened his grip on his greataxe, "do you even know what you are asking? I have warned you."

"Yes, we are sure. We need the assistance of the Attending Sisters."

"Fine, then. Don't say I didn't warn you," the said guard left his post and disappeared inside the cathedral.

Although they were speaking exactly the same language, Andre had no idea what was going on.

"You look puzzled, sir."

He looked at the maid sheepishly, "Ah, oh... yeah, I guess I am. What you guys talking about? I don't understand."

"The Attending Sisters are priestess who specialized in guarding and helping Her Holiness," she explained quietly so as not to trigger the wrath of the guards by saying the wrong thing. "By asking for their assistance, it means that you bring your problem to their attention and then this will be escalated to the Her Holiness."

"There's strict hierarchy to solve a problem and one can't just seek help from a High Priest or even disturb a religious process like this."

Realizing what they had done, Andre felt terribly weak as if something has drained all his energy. He squeaked, "Y-You're joking, right?"

When no one responded, he panicked. "Guys? Guys...??"

"This is serious, y'all! Doesn't that mean we're violating the rules right now?!"

"You mean by saying we're more important than a religious event? Then yes," the first maid casually retorted.

"God, we're so dead right now, no cap... I knew it. We're dead."

"It's okay, sir. Your status is something that even nobles would fight for. Not only that, you are the chosen one. Of course Her Holiness will help you the best she can. I'm sure she will let this matter go."

Andre knew the guard tried his best to comfort him, but he was afraid. As an upstanding member of the society, he prided himself as someone who adhered to the rules as any other decent human being should. Of course he wasn't in his right mind now, seeing how he had just violate a rule--it was akin to be caught money laundering by the police.

"Guys, we need to get out of here fast...!"

"Attention, the Attending Sister is here," the guard slammed the bottom pole of his greataxe twice. From the way he did it mechanically, it was more like a rite instead of gaining attention from the crowd.

Andre gulped and slowly turned around to face the doors.

Before them stood a tall woman, around 1,70 cm, dressed in a combination of battle garb and nun's habit. The symbol of the Cathedral, the letter M with wings on both side, was painted on her right pauldron. Her hair was hidden by the nun's veil and so was her eyes with a blindfold. There was no skin exposed except her lower face.

"Welcome to the Humirr Dövul Cathedral. I am pleased to finally meet you, sir >. My name is Izsacha, the youngest Attending Sister," she said politely. It was unnerving how she accurately looked at each of his party while being blindfolded.

The guards behind her stared at him disbelievingly, mouth slightly ajar. Looking at the burly, barbaric-looking boy, they didn't think that he was the chosen hero.

She gestured to the open door, "Please, Her Holiness is expecting you..."

Seeing no escape to this situation, Andre half-heartedly complied.

...hope nothing goes wrongs...
