《Azure Chronicles》Chapter 124: Familiar Guide?

Yokuza ducked and weaved through the swarm of hurtling banana-yellow marble polearms as he flew away from the wake of polearm-flinging marble vultures. Lola tightly clung to Yokuza's right arm as Yokuza's arm was wrapped around her waist. Lola glanced back at the wake of marble vultures swarming after them.
"Why are you flying away; why don't you fight them?" Lola asked while hanging onto Yokuza's arm like a cat.
"I'm training them into a line," Yokuza stated while focusing solely on where he was going.
"Oh, I see," Lola said. Lola peered around and spotted something which caught her attention. Lola tugged on Yokuza's sleeve while frantically pointing at something. Yokuza glanced at what Lola pointed at and smirked before he dive-bombed. The marble vultures dived after Yokuza as he ducked into a castle-themed hallway, followed by the marble vultures clambering into the hallway after the duo.
Yokuza darted to the end of the hallway, landed on the ground and placed Lola on the floor. Yokuza handed Lola the Fractal Quickened claymore before she instantly plummeted to the ground with the claymore due to its size, whilst Yokuza was solely focused on the clambering marble vultures. Yokuza flexed and tensed up his arms, his cyan blood vessels bulging as he strained his arms.
Opaque white mist oozed out from Yokuza's arms, crawled down his arm and gathered into his palms. Yokuza clasped his hands in front of him and aimed his Artic Frost mist at the incoming wake of marble vultures.
Yokuza raised his fists over his head before slamming them into the ground, and the condensed Artic Frost mist exploded out from under his hands. The mist surged out in front of Yokuza and raged through the hallway like a tidal wave; the mist wave slammed into the wake of marble vultures and washed past all of them.
Yokuza let out heavy breaths and dropped onto one of his knees as the mist cleared. The marble vultures and every inch of the hallway in front of Yokuza were revealed to now be the same opaque white ice material as his claymore. Lola dragged the Fractal Quickened claymore over to Yokuza with stars in her eyes.
"What do you call that move?" Lola asked excitedly. Yokuza exhaled from his nose before he rose to his feet and picked up his Fractal Quicken claymore as Lola struggled to lift the handle part to him.

"What is with you and knowing things' names?" Yokuza asked exhaustedly.
"Because it's obvious super moves have names; so, if you haven't named it then I will," Lola proclaimed before placing her fist on her chin and turning the gears in her brain. Lola perked up her ears and raised her fist into the air.
"Surging Frost Bite!" Lola exclaimed confidently. Yokuza sighed while shaking his head, causing Lola to pout at him. Yokuza rubbed his face
"Fine... I'll use the name...," Yokuza uttered, causing Lola to smile. Lola playfully jumped on the spot while asking Yokuza if he had any other moves he hasn't named yet. Yokuza rolled his eyes before he narrowed his eyes into a glare as something at the end of the hallway watched him and Lola.
Lola noticed Yokuza's glare and turned around to see the figure obscured by light rays standing at the only remaining exit to the hallway. Lola squinted her eyes and tilted her head as she looked upon the figure.
"... papa...?" Lola uttered. Yokuza flinched at hearing Lola refer to the figure as her father, and he became even more shaken as the figure strolled into the hallway and unobscured themselves from the light rays. The thing approaching the duo had the appearance of a tall teenaged Zalroth with a banana-yellow colour scheme. (pale banana yellow hair with pale golden tips that has glowing golden sand flaking off it, glowing pale golden eye with horizontal thick white, pale white to the point it's faintly pale golden yellow skin; he also wears a completely white kariginu, a golden threaded patterned cloak with large text on the back in an unknown language, and golden geta)
Yokuza got into a defensive stance, but Lola took a step forwards as she noticed the teen Zalroth look-alike was running the puzzle box's Rubik's Cube pieces between their fingers. The look-alike walked directly in front of Lola and stood before her. The look-alike held its hand out in front of Lola's face, and Lola raised her hands.
"Keep any fragile items out of harm's way," the look-alike stated calmly with a deep teen voice. The look-alike released its fingers and dropped twenty Rubik's Cube pieces into Lola's raised hands. Lola looked at the pieces, but after counting them she looked up at the look-alike.
"I was unable to retrieve the other six pieces; they were trapped within one of the Springs' mini-dungeons. I'll show you the mini-dungeon so you can retrieve the missing pieces," the look-alike stated before turning away from the duo.

"Wait!" Lola proclaimed, causing the look-alike to glance back at her.
"Who are you?" Lola asked whilst she placed the Rubik's Cube pieces in her tails. The look-alike looked forwards again.
"MSC: Zalroth Type," MSC Zalroth stated, leaving Lola and Yokuza slightly confused.
"So... are you my papa?" Lola asked confusedly. MSC Zalroth raised his right hand before rotating it slightly from side to side.
"Now. Do you wish to head to the mini-dungeon?" MSC Zalroth said neutrally. Lola nodded before MSC Zalroth walked towards the end of the hallway. Yokuza crushed the handle of his Fractal Quickened claymore's handle, which caused the rest of the claymore to crumble away.
"Maybe I should've brought Blue Empress...," Yokuza muttered. Lola patted Yokuza on the leg to get his attention.
"Don't worry, I got it," Lola said before she reached into her tails and pulled the handle of Blue Empress out of her tails.
"Thanks... but I was just thinking aloud; I don't think I'll actually need it," Yokuza remarked apologetically. Lola nodded before she buried Blue Empress' handle back in her tails. Lola quickly turned around and placed her hands on her cheeks.
"Ok, but If you change your mind you can just reach into my tails to get it at any time," Lola said at a quick pace before she skipped off after MSC Zalroth while keeping her hands on her cheeks. Yokuza scratched the back of his head while slowly walking after Lola.
Meanwhile from a distance, the dark platinum magic sand construct sat on a floating banana-yellow marble chunk as it playfully kicked its legs back and forth. The short kid-sized magic sand construct happily clapped its four sets of hands together and giggled like a kid as it stared down at the hallway now made out of opaque white ice.
"Wowee! I didn't expect that kid to be able to take out all those polearmer vulture golems in a single attack, how exciting!" the dark platinum sand construct said cheekily with an overly girly voice. The magic sand construct grabbed ahold of the marble chunk it was sitting on with its many hands before lifting itself upwards and flipping itself backwards onto its feet.
"Guess I should take on a more presentable appearance," the magic sand construct remarked as it placed multiple of its hands on its face in a thoughtful manner. The magic sand construct placed a fist in one of its palms. The magic sand construct's sandy body's appearance slowly shifted to a translucent dark platinum-coloured skin before self-imposed tan lines appeared on its body.
The magic sand construct nodded its featureless face before it slammed all its hands together, and the construct bursted into a cloud of dark platinum magic sand. The magic sand twisted like a tornado and slowly reformed into a clothed version of itself, which bore a striking resemblance to a child Chronia; however, the magic sand construct had some differences from the original. (long and spikey, dark platinum and dark royal blue hair with pale platinum coloured sand flaking of their hair, dark platinum and dark royal blue eyes with white hollow thick-lined six-pointed star-shaped pupils, and six extra arms[three arms connected to each of its shoulder blades]; it is wearing a pure white kosode which has a large hood with kitsune ears and large text on the back in an unknown language, baggy black fur trousers dawnite silk socks, and dark platinum getas)
MSC Chronia lowered her normal two arms to her chubby thighs before placing her hands on her thighs and lightly squeezing them.
"Why do my thighs always get chubby when I take on this appearance?" MSC Chronia muttered under her breath while fake sulking. MSC Chronia tilted her head to the side as she made a whomp noise while shrugging multiple times. MSC Chronia spotted MSC Zalroth emerging from the end of the frozen hallway and stopping by the edge of the hallway's floor. MSC Chronia happily clapped and braced herself to jump off the floating marble chunk before halting herself mid-jump.
"Wait... Gold told us we couldn't both be close to the same group of visitors... boo...," MSC Chronia murmured before she glanced behind herself towards the spawn point decon (a giant pillar of rainbow shifting energy).
"Didn't expect her to show up," MSC Chronia commented. She fully turned towards the spawn point beacon before a smug smirk grew on her face. She floated into the air before flying in the direction of the spawn point beacon and turning invisible.

Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions."
