《The Legacy of Gilgamesh》Chapter 48 The Holy Knight

Tirus was livid with anger, and his voice boomed through the ruined chamber like a thunderclap. He could not believe that someone had dared to defile the statue of Gaia, and he was consumed with a desire to find the culprit and bring them to justice.
"Who dare to blasphemy against God and destroy the True Status? Who is this audacious sinner who is not afraid of being cursed or facing the wrath of Gaia and the Holy Empire?" Tirus roared, his once calm and collected demeanor now replaced by the madness of anger.
However, a young knight stepped forward, cautiously trying to reason with Tirus. "Master Bishop, Excalibur has not been found yet. Isn't it too hasty for us to divert our attention to finding the person responsible for destroying the statue?" The young knight was the son of a noble, and like many young Holy Knights, he was devout in his beliefs, but he also held a great passion for finding the legendary sword.
Tirus took a deep breath and tried to compose himself. He knew that the young knight was right, and they had a more pressing matter at hand. But he couldn't shake the anger and frustration he felt over the destruction of the statue of Gaia, and he vowed to find the culprit and bring them to justice, no matter what it took.
A young man rushed into the chamber like a mad man, “My lords the holy sword have been taken by people of the neighboring empire.” He said as he bowed on his knees.
Tirus was taken aback by the news he had just received. He was informed that the sword, which was a sacred artifact bestowed upon them by their deity, the Great God Gaia, was taken by a blasphemy. The thought of it being in the wrong hands filled him with rage and determination. He immediately made up his mind to retrieve the sword and find the individual who dared to take it.

Tirus gathered his troops, the devout Knights of Gaia, and declared his intentions. The knights were equally outraged and couldn't believe that someone would have the audacity to desecrate their holy artifact. Tirus didn't have to give a long speech, as his subordinates knew their duty as believers of Gaia.
Without wasting any time, the knights scattered from the sunset mountains, each one taking a different direction in their search for the blasphemer. Tirus watched as his loyal followers disappeared into the horizon, determined to bring justice to the Great God Gaia.
As Tirus was about to leave, he suddenly remembered something that had been bothering him. He walked over to the stone platform where Auther's body was placed and noticed a drop of blood on the surface. This was strange because the platform was considered sacred and was always kept pristine. People had a certain respect for it and never dared to defile it.
"Absurd, why is there blood here?" Tirus muttered to himself, feeling alarmed by the unexpected discovery. He couldn't believe that someone would dare to defile this sacred place, and his mind raced with questions.
The blood was in a state between solid and liquid, almost resembling a red jelly.
Tirus couldn't believe what he was seeing. He wondered if this could be the blood of King Auther, the former owner of the sword Excalibur. The thought filled him with awe and a sense of reverence. Tirus knew he couldn't leave the blood there, so he quickly covered it with his cape and waited for his men to return. He planned to send the sample to the Institution of Fire, an organization dedicated to exploring the unknown and seeking the truth.
This small discovery marked a significant moment in Tirus's quest to retrieve the Excalibur. Although it was just a small battle in the larger scheme of things, it had an impact that reached far beyond what Tirus could have imagined.

The Frith Star Alliance was situated between two great powers, the Holy Empire and the Assyrian Empire. Initially, the Holy Empire was in a better position to acquire the sacred sword, Excalibur, as it was closer to the Frith Star Alliance. However, their efforts to track down the blasphemy who broke the statue of god drained their resources, and they were unable to compete for the sword effectively. This presented an opportunity for the Assyrian Empire to obtain Excalibur.
In no time, the sword was brought to the City of Rebirth, the capital of the Assyrian Empire, where it was placed in the hands of King Dracule the First. Upon seeing the sword, Dracule was filled with joy and eagerly picked it up. He was amazed by the sword's weight, which was as light as a feather, yet it was made of an alloy that could chop iron like mud. Dracule held the sword in one hand and pulled out his sabre with the other. With one swift strike, he slashed against Excalibur, and to his amazement, his sabre was cleanly cut in two. The split was as smooth as a mirror scratch, a testament to the sword's incredible strength and sharpness.
The acquisition of Excalibur marked a turning point in the power dynamics of the region, and King Dracule the First was determined to use it to solidify his power and secure the future of the Assyrian Empire
