《The Legacy of Gilgamesh》Chapter 35 Unlocking the Power of the Stars

"My dear son, I have been feeling worried about you lately. You seem different, almost as if something has changed within you. Have you found yourself a girlfriend, maybe? If so, your father and I will be more than happy to provide for any children you have. But the change I'm seeing in you goes beyond just physical appearance. Your behavior and demeanor seem altered, and it's causing me concern. Please, tell me what's going on. I need to understand what's happening with you." Rico's mother spoke with a voice filled with worry and uncertainty during the video call. The tone of her voice reflected her deep concern and her eyes searched her son's face for answers.
"Well, Mom, I've been having a little bit of trouble with pests lately, but other than that everything is going well. I've actually been eating more, so I've put on a bit of weight. I'm sure you'll be disappointed to hear that there's no grandson on the way for you just yet, but hopefully, in the future, we can make that happen." Rico admitted with a hint of helplessness in his voice. The tone of his voice indicated that he was aware of his mother's desire for grandchildren.
"Listen to me, make sure you take care of yourself and try to make some friends, okay?" She spoke while carefully feeding her black monkey, who shot Rico an evil gaze.
"Yeah, yeah, I know," Rico responded with a hint of annoyance in his voice. He was used to his mother's constant reminders but it still irked him sometimes. He then asked, "Mom, do you still have that disk you sent me last time? I've been meaning to go through it again."
"Oh, I don't think I have any copies left. Why do you need it again? Didn't I send you the last two? What else do you need? Those disks were of Mayan origin, there's still so much more out there to discover." His mother replied, her tone showing that she was always willing to support her son's interests.

"If you happen to come across any more of those disks, could you please send them my way?" Rico asked softly, his eyes lighting up at the thought of adding to his collection. "I absolutely love them, and they would make a great addition to my artifact room."
"Of course, I'll see what I can do. But it may take some time, we're currently in the wilderness," his mother replied, before suddenly stopping the video call without saying goodbye.
Rico's eyes twitched and the corners of his mouth compressed as a flash of anger appeared on his face. But it quickly faded away, and he couldn’t help but smile bitterly. Sometimes he wondered if his mother was really his biological parent. He compared her to other mothers who couldn't wait to talk to their sons for hours after not seeing each other for months. But his mother rarely lasted more than five minutes during their video calls, and his father was even worse than a runaway dad.
Despite the hardships, Rico felt a sense of comfort in this type of upbringing. It was precisely because of his parents that he had developed an indifferent and solitary personality. He was grateful for the space and independence that came with being raised in this manner.
After much contemplation and research, Rico finally discovered a way for the people of Gaia to access the source energy-dispersive version of Star Dust. He envisioned creating a source network that would harness and divert the energy extracted from the chaos into Gaia World. His plan was to use half of the energy harvested every day to power the network system and to store the other half for future uses.
Rico understood that this was a complex and ambitious undertaking, but he was confident in his abilities to bring his vision to life. He had spent countless hours studying the intricacies of the source energy and the chaos, and he was convinced that his plan was the key to unlocking its full potential. He was eager to put his ideas into action and to finally bring a new era of prosperity to Gaia World.
