“Dr Leprechaun and Slippery Fingers… Could these 2 be Sharp Stepper’s henchmen?” The thought of this actually being true was a hyperactive stimulant to my anger. I got so enraged in the moment that I prematurely revealed myself to my foes.

“You goddamn bastards!” My steaming voice was like thunder striking within the house. The reverberating echoes startled both Dr Leprechaun and Slippery Fingers.

“Who’s there?” Dr Leprechaun quickly jumped from around the table to reach for his gun that he had sitting in a pouch on the sofa.

“Huh!” The most shocking one of all was Slippery Fingers. “It can’t be…” She was completely taken aback by my appearance. “You’re supposed to be dead.”

When Dr Leprechaun overheard what his associate said, he hurriedly asked her, “Hey, what do you mean he’s supposed to be dead? Do you know this man?”

“Yes. He’s…” Before they could finish spitting saliva in each other’s mouths, I activated my Smoke Dash ability to rush across the room toward Dr Leprechaun. The buffalo force that I crashed into him with, knocked away the gun out of his hand, moreover, almost made him break through the wall.

“Give me that!” While Dr Leprechaun was still pinned against the wall, I roughly dragged the Rubik’s Cube from his fingers. “This belongs to me.”

As I was too focused on that short ginger beard man, the slight shifting of the air density behind me made me duck at the right moment to avoid being kicked in the head by Slippery Fingers. Her foot barely grazed my head.

“You sneaky bitch. Come here!” I reached out and grabbed Slippery Fingers’ leg before she could properly regain her balance. Next, I slammed her hard and viciously through the wooden table. Her cry of pain sounded like little brats in heat.

Glaring at her intensely, I opened my mouth and uttered, “How dare you attacked me from behind?” Just as I was about to teach this bitch a lesson, I felt a sharp object penetrating my side.

I received a stab wound from Dr Leprechaun’s blade. Turning around to face him, I used the back of my palm to slap him across the other side of the room. He tumbled briefly on his face before he got up and started bolting for the exit.

“You’re not getting away!” I was on my way to crush that little cockroach when my movement was abruptly impeded by Slippery Finger’s restriction. She was holding onto me firmly to buy enough time for Dr Leprechaun to go through the front door.

“Thank you, sweetheart. I owe you one.” Dr Leprechaun ran away the first chance he got. He didn’t bother turning back to see if his associate was ok.

“Damn you!” Letting my anger soar, Slippery Finger was subjected to the full brunt of my tyranny.

“It’s your fault he got away.” I reached down and pulled this broad by her hair before I grabbed her neck and forced her up against the wall.

“You’ve caused me enough trouble already, damn woman. Before I end your stupid life, let me see what you’re hiding behind that mask of yours.” My hand was moving closer to pulling off her mask.

“No! Don’t you dare do it?” Slippery Finger gave me some animalistic resistance. She desperately fought to keep me from uncovering her identity. But she couldn’t resist me for long. All it took for me was to apply a bit more force to drag her mask off.

Whoosh!

The moment the mask came flying off her head, my heart received a shock like no other. “How are you still alive?”

I was staring at this familiar female with my jaws hanging loose. I couldn’t believe my eyes. This person beneath my microscope of death was Trish Levinton, my illegitimate daughter. Her face had matured a bit since we last met, but I still recognized her from the time Sharp Stepper brought her to the warehouse for torture. She also recognized who I was.

“Now I understand why you reacted like that earlier.” To further cement my findings. I removed the glove from her left hand to inspect her fingers. Sure enough, I had the right person. The scars from her severed fingers were evident. She wore the extended glove to give herself more grasping ability and to maintain the illusion that she had 10 fingers when in actuality, she didn’t.

I stared at her dead centre in the eyes and said, “I guessed Sharp Stepper didn’t finish you off after he snipped your fingers. Instead, he turned you into his lap dog.”

“Screw you, you piece of shit!” This disrespectful girl spat her saliva on my face and went on to dis my character. “So you survived that night as well. Where have you been hiding this entire time?

“None of that matters.”

“You’re right, it doesn’t that I know you’re still alive, I’m going to kill you myself.”

“Ha-ha-ha!” This brat made me laugh. “You can try your luck against me, but I can assure you that you will fail, little girl. Your mother would be disappointed to know that you are serving the man who killed her.”

“Don’t you dare speak about my mother, you cunt!” It seemed I hit a nerve. “You’re the reason why she’s dead!” Trish slammed her head into mine but only ended up hurting herself.

“Ouch.” She released a low moan.

Continuing on with was I was saying, I told her, “Blame me all you want. You and I both know that isn’t true. You know deep down who the real murderer is. You’re just too weak to do anything about it.”

“Shut the hell up!” She behaved badly again by kneeing me in my nuts and then tried wiggling herself free, but I kept her in a tight lock.

“That old trick won’t work on me, little missy. I have balls of steel.” Applying more pressure to her neck, I let her aware that I was serious about ending her miserable life if she didn’t cooperate willingly.

“I’m willing to overlook what you’ve just done because of my past relationship with your mother. However, I am going to need something in return for sparing your life.” This was where I brought forth my terms. “Tell me where Sharp Stepper is hiding and I’ll let you live.”

“I will never tell you!” This stupid girl blatantly refused to heed my command, but based on her response, it told me that she knew where the little shit stain was hiding.

“I’m only going to ask you one more time, little girl…” I tried to be civil for the last time. “Tell me where Sharp Stepper is. What do you want in return, eh? Do you want a lollipop?”

“Fuck you dad!” She denied me again and began wilding out. “I’m not telling you anything. So go ahead and kill me if you want. I refuse to be a snitch.”

“I see. So you’re that invested in serving Sharp Stepper? Even that little midget who got away isn’t willing to die for him, but you are? Then you are no daughter of mine. Prepare to die you, unfilial child.”

I bolstered my fist with the strength of a dozen men. My aim was to punch a hole in this brat’s chest so big that I could poke my head through it. I did not tolerate anyone, especially someone that was supposed to be flesh and blood choosing Sharp Stepper over me.

“Erm…” Slippery Fingers winched and turned her face away for she didn’t want to witness her imminent demise.

“Look at me, you runt.” I turned her head back to face me.

Whoosh!

The sound of my fist wounding back through the air to increase its potential charge was frightening. “I hope you’ve already said your prayers.”

My hand could no longer remain idle. Desperately wanting to taste the bloody inside of this girl’s body, it escaped my control and went ahead like a rocket.

Boom!

The wall to my left collapsed all of a sudden, revealing the violent entrance of an uninvited guest.

“Huh! What the hell is that thing?” Unfortunately, Slippery Fingers was still alive. Due to the Smokepire’s startling entrance, it veered my fist off course by a few inches. I could see the terror dancing in her eyes as she stared at the monster. She was more afraid of that creature than of me.

“Goddammit! Can’t I kill somebody in peace anymore without being distracted?” This situation messed with my vibe greatly. It caused my focus to split in separate directions which allowed Slippery Fingers to escape my grasp.

“Ayah!” She flipped around my muscular arm like an agile monkey then used the momentum she gained to slit my throat with the hidden weapon she stashed in her sleeve. Luckily, the wound wasn’t that deep, else I would have been in big trouble. Before I could retaliate against her, she was gone like a thief in the night, leaving me alone in the house with the Smokepire.
