Characters:
-- Evelyn (No known last name) --
Age: 28
A mysterious woman who had been working under Leonis Sanguis for at least five years. Despite her master’s hot-temper and verbal abuse, she remained at his side and was loyal to a fault. Besides growing up in the Southern Marshes, not much else is known about her, her family or relatives as she doesn’t like talking about personal matters. However, behind that dutiful maid facade hides an experienced fighter, one that could face and perhaps even defeat a well-trained Knight.
Additionally, Evelyn is capable of using Magic but it’s not her forte. She can control Magic and though her elemental affinity remains undisclosed, it has been confirmed that she could at least use simple Earth Magic. Under Arthur’s behest, she made her eyes glow with a yellow-ish light by concentrating a small amount of Earth Energy in them, though such a trick is never used since it requires no small amount of expertise and has no effect whatsoever.
Evelyn isn’t a person that likes to sit down and do nothing. In fact, one of her fleeting hobbies was keeping her clothes, herself, and her environment clean… though such a minor obsession was probably acquired after working as a maid for so many years.

-- Rein Goldstar --
Age: 24
A young man born and raised in the North-east of the Human Continent, precisely in the Redfall valley. He grew up in the famous orphanage, which had been recently integrated into the biggest Holy Temple in the region.
There, he was taught about the Light Mother and the widely spread religion of the Holy Church. By the age of 5, one of the Priests discovered Rein’s magical talent, thus began the young boy’s meticulous training.

By the age of 7, he was adopted by the Goldstar family. His adoptive parents greatly doted on him and spared no money to raise him. So, at the age of 11- like his peers- Rein was sent to study at the Nemia Magical Academy in the Northern Archipelago. There, he showcased his prodigious talent and graduated after five years, officially becoming one of the youngest to ever graduate. However, Rein was not satisfied and, instead of seeking the path to become an Archmage, he sought Knighthood.
He firmly believed in the Light’s guidance and wanted to bring harmony and justice to humankind. He underwent a lot of training and, after seven years, succeeded in the trials and became a Holy Knight.
Rein Goldstar’s first task as a Holy Knight was to chase and eliminate a Demon. However, he was only given a vague illustration of his target and ordered venture to the outside and unfamiliar world, with which he felt no familiarity or comfort. Still, the righteous young man set about his task and meticulously looked after the demon.
Despite his young age, Rein was incredibly strong: Whether it’s magical prowess or physical strength, he had both. The title of a Holy Knight was not easily acquired, neither was it for anyone. Simply put, ambition and hard-work are not enough to become one of the Holy Church’s main forces.
-- Lexander Biax --
Age: 57
A war-veteran as well as a Knight. Although he lacks any political power, Lexander still had many powerful friends in all sorts of places, especially in the Capital. As one of the survivors of the Fishland war that happened fifteen years ago, Lexander’s contribution has been acknowledged by the Aristocratic Consortium.
As an appropriate reward, he was offered the title of a Count, a sizable and fertile piece of land in the Ember Lands, and a sum of 100,000 Blakin Gold Coins. Surprisingly, however, Lexander turned down everything and retreated to a backwater settlement by the name of Wilsden Town.
There, he spent his day in peace with Leonis Sanguis, a childhood friend of his.
Due to his old age, many think that Lexander lost his touch but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The old man was a veritable war-machine. He was a Master Swordsman, a title which is granted only to those who reached the peak of their profession.
-- Feylord Lernon --
Age: 22
The eldest child of Xander Lernon and his only son. A cunning and manipulative individual that cares little about family or friends and more about status and power. Using what little influence he had and after pulling a few strings, he managed to impress a friend he had chanced to meet. Thanks to that friend, he secured an invitation to the Nemia Magical Academy, in which he would hone his magical skills and attempt to befriend people of power.

After the Baron’s untimely death, he was supposed to inherit everything but, instead, he opted to leave for the Northern Archipelago, where he hopes to become stronger and gain more than the small territory his father had left behind.
Feylord has a strong affinity to Fire and Darkness, but, even with the aid of a tutor, he was incapable of using the notorious Darkness Element, which was part of the reason he set his eyes on the renown academy, in which geniuses and freaks gather.
-- Sancha Sanguis --
Age: 34
The leader of the Sanguis Family and a member of the Aristocratic Consortium. Undoubtedly, Sancha is a resourceful woman, one who- like all her peers- seeks to expand her family’s influence beyond the Militant Syndicate. She is the cousin of Leonis Sanguis, though the two had cut off contact years ago, when he was stripped of his titles and exiled.
Although young, Sancha was able to steal the leadership of her family using nothing but absolute might. Unlike her relatives, who trained hard in the Nemia Magical Academy, Sancha stayed at home and, for the most part, worked alone. However, since she was part of the ‘main’ family, she also inherited the unique ability to conjure barriers. Using that singular yet frightening ability, she reached unprecedented heights and joined the Consortium at the age of 26 and became the leader of her family two years after.
Within the Sanguis Family, there remain those opposed to her and seek to dethrone her, but they dare not do it openly lest they incur her wrath. In public, they are forced to swallow their dissatisfaction and listen to her orders without offering any objections.

‘Historiography, The Danger of Mythical Beings.
Introduction: Mythical Beings are entities that were either born from Elemental Laws, ancient artifacts, or created artificially. There are Twelve Mythical Beings, however, not all of them are necessarily uniquely strong. Each is equipped with impressive and unique abilities.
The Twelve Mythical Beings are: The Headless Soldier, The Queen Arachne, The Spectral Bone Ghost, the Monkey King, The Two-Headed Death Lizard (Radolf), The Immortal Roc (Midolf), the Fire Phoenix, the Ice Phoenix, The Black Kraken, The One-eyed Flamingo, The Rainbow Qirin, and The Frog of Destiny.
1 - The Headless Soldier: His first recorded appearance was right after the War of Twelve, in the year 142,690 of the First Era. Not much is known about his origin, but he quickly became notorious throughout the Heaven and Hell Universe. Amongst his victims were the Star God, the God of Wind, The 31th Demon of Hell, The 5th Demon of Hell.
With each victory, the Headless Soldiers grow unimaginably stronger. Some say that his strength might have rivaled that of the Twelve Creations Gods.
2 - The Immortal Roc (Midolf): A Roc rumored to be so big that it covers the whole sky: An ancient creature born from pure Life Energy. Legends say that it is capable of bringing the dead back to life. Furthermore, it has absolute mastery over the Wind Element.
Its first recorded appearance was in the Era of Beginning.
3 - The Two-Headed Lizard Death Lizard (Radolf): A bone-lizard that manipulates Death and all that it encompasses. Ironically, it is best friends with Midolf and the two are never seen without the other.
Its first recorded appearance was in the Era of Beginning.
4 - The Frog of Destiny: A mysterious existence, an enigma even to the Twelve Creation Gods. It is said that it belongs to another plane of existence, completely separate from the three universes.
The Frog of Destiny appeared only a handful of times throughout History. However, each time it made its appearance, a great change would occur. The tiny three-eyed orange frog, unbound by neither Heaven, Hell, or even Gods, is able to change an individual or even animal’s destiny.
Its first recorded appearance was in the Era of Beginning.
5 - The Black Kraken: A being with a body so large it could devour a whole star. It usually slumbers within the black hole centering the Andromeda Galaxy, in the X-TR500 Universe.
The Black Kraken was born through the meticulous labor of ‘The Black Devil, Timos’, one of the Twelve Creation Gods. Timos sought to tame the beast but miserably failed, thus he sealed it way.
There have not been many occasions in which the Black Kraken caused any havoc or fought with anybody, so it is hard to gauge its powers.
Its first recorded appearance was in the year 348,113 of the Second Era.
6 - The Queen Arachne: Mother and creator of all spiders, a godly manifestation, shrewd and holder of an impressive intelligence despite the fact that it was once a minuscule and harmless spider. Through sheer luck, at the end of the 2nd Era, the Queen Arachne ate the ‘Wonder Grass’ and gained intelligence and unimaginable power.

Looking forward to any constructive criticism, however, i already have in mind, the entire plot and tone of the story, any revisions based on feedback will likely only be considered upon completion. As of now starting out, i haven't really settled on a timeline for regular updates But I aiming for at least two chapters a week at about 2000 words each. I will promise at least one chapter of that size at least once a week, until completion. I'm rather determined to put this story on paper ( or web page i guess).
