That's right! With the help of Shadow Alley Press, Blood Shaper is coming as an ebook to a Kindle Store near you! Yaaaay! With brand new cover art, edited and improved content, and even a small amount of new content, the first book of Blood Shaper will soon be available! Get a copy soon!
Okay, having fun pretending to be a infomercial salesman aside, I'm super excited about this. My original plan was to go out, find an editor I could afford, polish, polish, polish, and then self-publish the first book once I felt ready, like I did the first book I finished, which is a much rougher book than his one is about to be. But then! In late January-Early February of this year I got a lovely little message here on RR from someone from SAP (Shadow Alley Press), asking if I'd be interested in publishing my stuff with them. Not only was being approached by any publishing company incredibly flattering, it turned out they were a publisher who'd put out several books and series that I personally liked. Fast forward through a few emails and some zoom calls, and here we are! And they're awesome! I've loved working with everyone at SAP and I'm looking forward to continuing working with them on more books!
So, some details on stuff and things. First of all, yes the book is going on Kindle Unlimited, and that does mean that chapters are coming down becuase of the exclusivity deal. Sorry to those of you that want to continue reading for free with no paywalls or blockages, but KU is too useful for me and other authors similar to me to not use it. If Causualfarmer-sempai is using it, I'm going to. (That's the Beward of Chicken author if you didn't know that btw. Best story on this site.) But, not everything will be coming down, and not as much as when I originally planned out the books for this story either. My original plan was to have Blood Shaper be a trilogy. So I wrote book one, which I was just calling Blood Shaper, and moved on to book 2, The Shatterplate War, then was going to move to book 3, which is/was unnamed. Turns out, my "book 1" is twice as long as it should have been. For more than one reason, roughly 200000 words is too long for one book. So it got shortened. Book One, which is called "Blood Shaper" is from chapter 1 to chapter 43 as it is on Royal Road. Those chapters will come down when the book launches. Again, sorry to those dissapointed by that, but its happening. Book 2, which is tentatively titled "The Eldritch Beneath" rn, is from chapter 44-chapter 87. What is currently titled "The Shatterplate War" and is being released rn on RR is going to be book 3, and here's where more confusion is coming in: It's getting a name change. The Shatterplate War will be happening in what is now going to be book 4, and thus book 3s name must be something else. Easy to keep track of, right?

That's why I'm going to volumes mode and changing the titles of every chapter (probably tomorrow).
TLDR: Getting published! Great company! Books not the right size so changing that! Chapters will come down because of KU. Title changes! Using Volumes here on RR! Yay!
Alrighty then, that's all the announcement information stuff that I can think of done, so here's the big kicker!

Finally, for the future! Book 2 Comes out sometime (hopefully/probably this year but idk this is literally my first time things are going at different speeds than I originally expected) Book 3 comes out after Book 2! Book 4 isn't done yet! And! Book One Audiobook (I'm so excited, the audiobook is already happening) comes out this year sometime during/after August! (The narrator's schedule didn't have an opening till in August, so probably after August but idk, again things are going faster that I expected in some places and slower in others).

The humans were the best choice as their numbers were numerous and form was similar to most races. As such, the various races of this world managed to save themselves in essence and soul only, though perhaps there was no other choice. With the various humans now carrying the weight and aspects of those who came before, life has continued onto the modern age. Yet, even amongst these hybrids 'Pures' emerge from time to time, beings who have inherited not only aspects of the ancient races, but their forms too.
