Deep inside the lands of dream and slumber,

lies the hope of whatever we desire out of life.

These visions always seem to have thy number,

that often leaves me in the middle of a strife.

These pursuits are what leads us into conflict,

being forced to choose between head and heart.

Some of us crave a good fight like an addict,

unaware these fights will drive us all apart.

Oh, why do theses emotions control me so?

Shall there be a time when we are at peace?

There are some answers I shall never know,

yet I hope one day all hostility shall cease.

That day will come, and maybe I’ll be here,

to bear witness as truth reaches thy ears.
