《Judah Judas Adventures》Chapter 166 - Thornosian's Hall - Part 1

Later this day, after I have made the small breakfast for the kid of this family, and cleaned the kitchen while the Thornosian Mother yelled at me to move faster, the God of Time has decided to give me a few minutes of peace. But it gave me only a small amount because the Thornosian Father came to me as I was on the room where slaves are forced to live. The man came to me.
He looks extremely mad, and I can feel his gaze. He came into my room while I was doing a small cleaning. Like washing the dirty blankets by using only water from the barrels outside who are used to collect water from the rain. Water that it is used by the slaves to drink it or eventually wash their faces because these members of this family detest people with dirty faces. The Father surprised me by yelling.
"You brat! Why did you serve my son breakfast!"
As he yelled, I turned around, looked confused at the man, and nervous. That huge man has on his right hand a plank, he squeezes the plank with so much power, it almost broke. The man takes a deep breath, and he hit me with the plank on my face.
That hit has thrown me to the ground. I try to get up, but the man hit my stomach with his leg, and he laughs.
"Your mother is not here!" says the man happy, and he continues to hit me. "You are a weak child. You are not even able to hit me back! Or look into my eyes!"
He threw his shots into my stomach and arms so many. I lost count of the hits that demon threw at me. I was about to go into an unconscious state, but the man, after he saw I was about to go "blank" once again, he stopped, bends down and looks at me, with a stupid long grin.

"I almost killed you, right? I'm sorry. I want to keep you alive because you are a good slave who works for free." he gets up, looks at this room, he look at me, and he loudly laughs at me. "You are a piece of shit, you know that? But you have guts to still remain here and take my hits. You should be thankful you are into my hands, and not on the other groups."
He turns around, head to the door, and leaves this room, letting me remain on the floor, holding my stomach, siting on a side with my whole body, and holding my crying as I look at the black wall where a chair is sitting next to it. That chair is probably the one where Fiona sat on it last night. It is good these people had the moral code to lend us a chair.
I stay here for a few more minutes, then I leave this room, walking slowly to the exit, and going outside this house.

Outside this huge house, I see the fence made by a huge quantity of cobblestones and silver. Fences that are usually seen on the houses that belong to the nobleman in or outside the Kingdoms they live at. I climb down the stairs, go at the pat where is a dog that chews on a bone.
The dog in front of me doesn't resemble the one you can see in real life. it is a huge brown and no skin nor fur dog, it is one who can make you shiver when you look at him for even one second. The dog has four eyes, and a muscular mass on his body. As he continued to chew the bone, I can see his teeth, sharp and metallic teeth who can pierce even the fence of this huge house.

The dog stopped chewing from the bone, he looks at me, angrily and ready to jump on me. I stand still, not doing any sudden movement. The dog started to growl on a low tone, making hard to hear it since it is at three meters distance from me. I look at the dog, sweating bullets, and wondering what I can do.
"What if the dog noticed the plan of mine and Fiona?" I asked myself as I look carefully at the dog. "If the worst comes, I have to annihilate this beast. But how?"
The dog was about to bark at me, then, the door of a small house opens, it is the building that serves the purpose of storing carriages for this family and keeping their horses safe. From that building, comes out Fiona, who observes me and the dog. She runs to me, and yells at the dog.
"Drago! Down! Down, Drago!"
She yelled at it for a few seconds as she continued to run at me. Thankfully, when the dog, named Drago, heard the yelling, he stopped growling, and goes back to chew his bone he got it from a member of the family, or for Fiona. Either way, that dog really loves the bone he got on his teeth.
"What happened?" asks Fiona letting a box down, with herbs and flowers.
"The dog was trying to attack me." I say to her. "I did not do anything."
She looks back at the dog, making sure the thing I tell her was the truth. Fiona looks at me, and tells me.
"The dog knows you are not the slave, and you are playing his role. We have to be careful around this animal." she looks back at the dog, making sure he doesn't listen to our conversation. Fiona and I saw the dog, continuing to chew on the bone he got, not caring about our discussion we have about him.
"Look." whispers Fiona to my ear. "Tonight we will try and kill the dog. I know it sounds risky, but we have to do it in order to make sure we will not be attacked. Okay?"
I look at Fiona, scared, then at the dog, who is still chewing the bone.
I shake my head in approval to Fiona, then with a smile, she showed a small smile, then she tells me.
"We have to clean the horse stable." says to me by playing her role when a family member of Thornosian enters the garden. "Come, my child."
"Sure... Mom." I say feeling a bit embarrassed by saying "Mom" to Fiona. But I had to play the role of the child, otherwise we would be found out and killed before we can share the entire information to the King.

Assimilation
Life can become dull, boring, but the universe has a way of changing that. Enter Interface, a way of governing and maintaining ones own body, skills, possessions and more. Interface is a system as old as time, and spreads throughout the universe through a means known as 'Sparks'. Individuals or groups use Sparks as a means of assimilating new territories and planets. The universe is full of several Confederations, groups, and free radicals under the influence of the Interface, and now it's Earth's time to join the fold. It was a simple spring evening when Jim was walking home from work, tired and raw, that's when it hit, the reckoning to change his life, and those of everyone on Earth, forever.
8 160The Dungeon's Escapee
An Earthling, a Summer Elf, and the only male Phoenix in existence walk into a Dungeon... Okay, maybe they don't really do it so much for glory but rather because it's their job, and maybe they weren't really together, and some of them were actually walking out. Enter the world of Cespes, a land of magic, mystery, and monsters. Now, the Ancient Gods have gone silent even as magic enters the Golden Era. The Avish Empire might have fallen four thousand years ago, yet much of society remains fragmented, even as they share more cultural ties than ever before. Adventurers have always formed parties. Now, there are Dungeons, dark, grey blobs that dominate Kingdom maps and kill everything within sight. Yet, beyond even these obvious places of danger entwined with fortune, a forgotten evil rears its head after fermenting for millennia. A call for heroes has arrived. Warning: This story is written in the first and third person with multiple POVs. I will try to publish at least once every two weeks, if not more. Cover art by: [email protected]

8 159Tales of Light
These are a collection of short stories following different narratives. It's more like a playground and experimenting with ideas or subjects I don't want to write a complete story about. It's also a place to test my skills as a writer. Think of it as a notebook of un/finished ideas. Feel free to pick and choose which chapters to read. They aren't related unless specifically said otherwise. Just relax, enjoy, and cringe at goofy stories. There may be a timeline of events, or not... who knows?

8 235Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
