《Rubik’s Man: I’m Rich & You’re Dead》Chapter 46 - Old Bensen’s Outrage!

Using Gambler’s Luck, Smoke Pac selected Razi as the target for success. He did this after he changed his mind about killing her. Now that she was his slave, he figured that he didn’t need to own Big Red’s assets directly. So he decided to help her claim what was rightly hers, to begin with.
During the last dice roll, Gambler’s Luck initiated a turnover in the dice after Razi and Bensen had voiced their choices. This was how she ended up becoming the winner of the game.
With so many eyewitnesses present in the room, the results were irrefutable. Hence, Mr Kim had to do his due diligence and signed Razi as the sole beneficiary. He called her over to sign her signature on the required dotted lines. Afterwards, he stamped the original document, gave it to Razi and kept a copy as proof of legitimate acquisition.
Manager Kim readjusted his papers on the table as he rose from his seat. He gave everyone inside the room a look of appreciation. “Our business is concluded here.” Before Razi walked away, he said to her, “It will take 2 weeks minimum for the entire transferal of capital to be fully processed. I’ve got your contact detail, we’ll send you a notification when the time is ready.”
“Ok, thanks again for what your assistance.” Razi blew Mr Kim a kiss before she joined Smoke Pac at the exit. She locked arms with him and escape the death stares of the Camptons.
“Are you shitting me?” Charlie’s mode got out of hand till the point where the securities had to restrain him. He was looking forward to becoming a millionaire from Big Red’s assets. Now that he lost that ticket to Razi, he was veritable upset. “I’m going to kill that thieving bitch!”
“Shut up!” Bensen came forward and discipline his spoilt child with his old fist. “Stop embarrassing me.” After punching Charlie’s mouth to the side, he turned to Mr Kim and apologized. “Sorry for my son’s rude behaviour, Manager Kim. I hope that this failed venture hasn’t ruined our relationship.”
“Nonsense, we’re still on good terms.” Mr Kim patted Bensen on the shoulder. “Will I see you at the partner event Saturday night?”
“I’ll be there.” Said Bensen.
“Then this matter is settled. You are free to leave now.” Mr Kim showed the Camptons the exit. He waited until they left the room before he joined them outside. The security guards bolted the door to prevent unwanted guests from entering. That room had a special thing hidden within that Mr Kim didn’t want anyone to get their hands on.

“I can’t take this shit.” Charlie ran ahead of his family toward the elevator. Out of all of the Camptons, he was the one who took Bensen’s loss roughly.
In the parking lot, Charlie noticed Razi getting in the vehicle with Smoke Pac and ran over there to attack her. “Where do you think you are going you bitch! You stole everything from me!” Charlie wasn’t messing around, he tackled Razi to the ground where he commenced fisting her face like a punching bag.
“Hey! Get off me!” Razi tried to push him away but his manly strength was too much for her to compete with.
“I’m going to ruin this ugly face of yours for humiliating my father!” Charlie continued to berate Razi’s face with punches.
During all of this, Smoke Pac was sitting on the car bonnet having a smoke as if he didn’t care what happened to his slave. The security guard who usually patrols that area went on break and his replacement didn’t arrive yet, so Razi was left to defend herself.
“Where is the deed, you bitch? Give it to me!” Charlie smashed Razi’s head against the concrete then started rummaging through her clothes for the important documents.
“Looking for this?” Smoke Pac had the document in his hand. He showed them to Charlie. “Her signature is already on these papers. It is worthless to you.”
“That will change once I killed the bitch. Give it here!” Charlie made the biggest mistake of his life when he launched his hostility at Smoke Pac. Razi was an ok target because she was weak, however, Smoke Pac was a ruthless creature who didn’t take kindly to threats.
“I said to give it here, you homo-looking bastard!” Charlie reached out to grab the document from Smoke Pac’s hand, but he felt as if he had run into a brick wall. “What the fuck?” Moments later, Charlie found himself staggering backwards while his hands were fastened around his neck.
“I’m not even going to dirty my hands on you.” The skill Smoke Pac was using to immobilize Charlie was one that he purchased from the Rubik’s Store for 49 Skill Points.
Neck Strangler enabled him to cast an invisible noose around the neck of his targets and watch as they are strangled to death. This is what was currently happening to Charlie. He was feeling his windpipe getting crushed to pieces.
“Cough! Cough!” Spitting out some bloody saliva on the ground, moreover, adjusting her clothing, Razi found her footing and came over to watch Charlie struggle to take apart the invisible noose from around his neck.

“What is happening to him, Smoke Pac? Why is he choking himself?” Razi wasn’t aware that Smoke Pac’s power was in effect on Charlie and he didn’t make her aware.
“He’s crazy. Look at him strangling himself.” Smoke Pac smirked then took another puff of his cigarette. “He’s none of our concern. Get in the car and let’s go.”
“Alright.” Razi reluctantly joined Smoke Pac in the car. As he drove away, she kept her gaze fixated on Charlie for as long as her view could afford. She saw when he collapsed and that was it.
Looking over at the cruel entity sitting in the driver’s seat, Razi uttered, “I thought you said you’re never going to drive again?”
“Circumstances change.” Smoke Pac answered flatly.
“Ok…” Razi asked another question, “Are we going back to my place now?”
Smoke Pac glanced at her. “Why do you ask? Do you wish to celebrate your inheritance?”
“Not really. I was just curious.”
“Hmm…” Smoke Pac noticed Razi nervously fiddling with her fingers and inquired, “What’s bothering you?”
“It’s just…” She delayed with her answer. “Back there I saw Charlie collapsed and I am just wondering if he will be ok. If something bad happens to him, uncle Bensen won’t be pleased.”
“Tsk, don’t waste your brain cells thinking about that loser. Leave that old man to me. If he dares to try something, I’ll get rid of him in an instant.” Smoke Pac snapped his fingers to affirm his gesture.
“That is what I’m afraid of.” Whispered Razi. She knew how Bensen would react if something bad was to happen to his son. Charlie was Bensen’s only conceivable child that he was able to have in his lifetime thanks to a miracle, so he did his best to protect him and gave him whatever he wanted.
Smoke Pac saw Razi’s troubled expression and took a turn off from the main road which led to the Valley. “We are going to a bar to celebrate. I can’t allow my slave to be feeling like dirt. That shit is toxic.”
What Smoke Pac meant by this was that he was capable to some extent of experiencing what Razi was feeling via the magical link of the Enslavement Rubik’s Cube sitting in her chest. If his mental body wasn’t strong enough, these shared emotions could end up affecting his rational thinking process. Thus he agreed to go celebrate with her to get those out-of-place feelings in balance.
Back at Prime Head’s main branch parking lot, the elevator transporting the Camptons came to a halt. They were conversing among themselves about the preceding that transpired in the private room.
Clary adjusted her bosom while saying, “I can’t believe we all lost the gamble and that little girl ended up winning.”
“You know what, I don’t feel that bad that she is the person who won the deed.” David tried sounding sensible. “If you look at it, she is Darius’s daughter, so in terms of who should rightly benefit from his death, it should be her.”
“I agree with what you are saying, David but I still don’t like that girl. She is too entitled. Did you know she hasn’t worked a single day in her life? Ever since she graduated, all she’s been doing is hosting parties after parties; getting wasted and spreading her legs for every Tom, Dick and Harry who she finds attractive.”
“It sounds to me like you’ve been keeping tabs on her, sister.”
“I have. It’s my duty to keep up with what is going on in this family.”
“But all that you’ve mentioned about Darius’s daughter, the same could be said about Bensen’s boy.”
“I seconded that.” Agreed Clary’s eldest daughter. “Charlie is a promiscuous lothario. I should confess that he even tried to come on to me that night at Pearl’s party.”
“That brute did what?” Clary became enraged when she heard this. “When I see that penis swinger again I’m going make sure to discipline him. You better not get in my way, do you hear me, Bensen?”
“I hear you, sis.” Bensen couldn’t argue with Clary because she had a valid reason to discipline his son. “That brat has caused me enough humiliation. I’ll help you punish him.”
The Camptons stepped out of the elevator looking for Charlie. On their way towards their vehicle, they spotted a body lying on the ground and ran over to inspect it.
“Oh my God! It’s Charlie!” Clary’s outburst echoed throughout the underground structure. “Somebody call an ambulance!”
“Huh, my boy…?” Bensen was utterly shocked to see his son in that state. Charlie's eyes bulged out of their sockets with red veins coursing through them; his hands were fastened around his neck so tight that his fingers almost touched.
Charlie was completely unresponsive. He was quickly rushed to the nearest hospital where he was pronounced dead. He died of asphyxiation.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Bensen cried over his son’s corpse until he had no more tears left. Deep down, he knew that Charlie didn’t kill himself. With his eyes fiercely bloodshot, he shouted-
“Pink Diamond!”

Gray's Crucible
“The value you have brought to trade is immense, more than a thousand fold what any other traveler to Crucible has ever produced. More than even I produced during my journey.” The old man paused for a moment here, seemingly reluctant to continue. After a few seconds he begins again with weariness creeping into his voice. “As the Messenger of Crucible I have received the value of your life. You shall be awarded a body with potential equaling the value you have brought to this place in accordance with the laws of the higher realms. Now you shall depart for Crucible, but first; I, Jaze, will give you some advice.” The old man, Jaze, he had named himself paused a time. Time enough that Gray began to wonder if he was still present, when he suddenly continued in a low and serious tone, “You will undoubtedly have great potential Gray of Earth, but it is still only potential. What could be is not necessarily what will be. If you step foolishly in my world, if you can not live up to the potential you have bartered for, Crucible will crush you mercilessly and tear away your very soul.” A thought, cheerful and light was heard from Gray before his presence was sent rocketing away like a shooting star. “I’m looking forward to it.”
