First things first, I need to find Dian. I don’t know where he might’ve wandered. Luckily I had Skyge with me. Since he was hunting lately he is much better at finding people by their scent. I found him by some bakery sweet talking to two girls.

“I’m sorry to stop your conversation but I need to take this guy away.” I said with a smile as I patted Dian on the back.

“Me? We know each other…” When I looked her right in the face I remembered. The woman standing right in front of me is the same one that saw me with Tae in that room with one bed.

“Terii. I don’t think this man is good for you. We’re going.”

“Goodbye? Do they know you?”

[ Eric ]

This time when we went to the inn there were many rooms to choose from. I didn’t have to go to the room with one bad and let other people think that I… I made out with a guy. I wouldn’t say that it’s wrong but… I don’t want to people with that I’m that type of guy! I like LADIES! GOT THAT?! We got a room with two single beds.

[ Eric ]

“Did you gather some information? Or just talked with the ladies…”

“You saw me once with girls and assume that’s all I was doing… I found a few things. Hakarl clan has very aggressive politics but they don’t control their borders very much. They don’t even have an official land. They live from slavery. All of the people are warriors and only slaves work in the field. There is also the arena.”

“They are forcing slaves to fight?”

“Yes. There are a few ways to be sent to the arena. Strong slaves are perfect for entertainment. So if you’re viewed as a strong person you’re bound to be sent there. The second way would be as punishment for not being obedient and the third option is when you’re weak and can’t work efficiently in the field. Basically sent to death for the entertainment.”

“All of the options fit Tae. He might be viewed as a strong person since he is blessed. He might not be obedient and well… He doesn’t like physical labor so we’ll definitely find him at the arena if he is still alive.”
