Me and Dian left the village early in the morning. Everyone was at the port to bid us farewell and good luck with our quest. I promised them that we were not coming empty-handed. I rented a ship from Galmar for a good price with a discount for a friend. If his merchant hunch is right, this will make him profit, one way or another.

I left Stella in Hakon’s hands. Since he is a known warrior and good and combat, even without one arm, he will train Stella. She was the one who wanted to train. Most likely Tyr said to her that she should and like an obedient girl she is doing that.

Since we are going into such a dangerous clan we had to cover our tattoos. If they find out who we are they might try to enslave us. I don’t know how the slave market works but blessed people definitely go for big prices.

This clan was located far away behind Sehus. I know I want to help Tae as fast as I can but… We can’t do it on an empty stomach! And I know a good place in Sehus where the food is great! That’s right! The restaurant with dishes from the earth!

[ Eric ]

“Are you ready to experience the test of your home realm? This is the food that I ate in England! Pancakes! Dumplings! FISH AND CHIPS!”

[ Dian ]

“Food from another world?”

[ Eric ]

“Yes! Experience new tastes that you never had in your mouth!”

As we sat, Dian checked what was on the menu while I sat there with closed eyes. He didn’t know what kind of food it is so he asked me about the whole menu and I explained it to him.

[ Dian ]

“You’re not going to check what’s on the menu?”

[ Eric ]

“I already know what I want to order.” The waitress approached us and before she could say anything I ordered my things. “Springs rolls, spaghetti bolognese, fish-and-chips, and strawberry smoothie.”

[ Waitress ]

“Ummm… Okay. And for you?” She asked as she leaned toward Dian.

[ Dian ]

“I’ll take pancakes with honey and this lemonade.”

[ Waitress ]

“Okay! Be back in a minute.”

The first things to arrive at our table were drinks. With one sip I could see Dian’s face amazed by the taste. I let him take a spic of my smoothie. He was even more amazed at that. Just you wait for the food! Maybe I’ll become a Jarl and make sure that there will be this kind of restaurant on the island!

[ Eric ]

“Hey! Don’t drink it all before the food! Unless you want to pay for another drink.”

[ Dian ]

“But it’s so good!”

[ Eric ]

“I know! But! You need to be patient and wait!”

When Dian got his pancakes he slowly ate them and enjoyed himself. When he looked at me all he saw were almost empty plates and my face stuffed with food. Everything tastes so good that I can’t wait for spaghetti before spring rolls. The only thing I left untouched was fish and chips. I want to leave this restaurant with that taste in my mouth!

While I was enjoying the food I forgot what pissed me the most in this clan… Once again there were guards talking about the strength of Riglids. When they noticed me they changed their conversation. They began to talk about a guy who won a fight against a Riglid. Now I recognize that one guard. He was the one who made me fight them. He knows what I can do. While the two of them just listened and weren’t buying what he said I had to approach them.

[ Eric ]

“Hey… I remember you.”

[ Known Guard ]

“And I remember you! He is the guy I was talking about!”

[ Eric ]

“Oh? You were talking about me? I hope it was good stuff you told them…”

[ Known Guard ]

“Of course! You’re an amazing warrior.”

[ Guard ]

“Yeah right…”

[ Eric ]

“Want me to prove it? How about you four spar with me? Four against one?”

[ Known Guard ]

“I’ll pass. I don’t want to fight you.”
