《lord of pride》47

the political problem of one country getting hold of an energy method was very delicate and had many repercussions that Baili explained. the meeting this explanation happened, started just the moment they stepped foot into her building. it two 46 flowers for her to get across all the details.
'she put a lot of thought into this,' Aero thought as he digested what she said. the first problem would be if their country became stronger the others would see them as a threat and might band together. the obvious solution to this was to spread the knowledge around. everyone would grow stronger and creatures would be less of a threat.
good until people realized they could focus on lesser things, like the countries they didn't like possibly starting wars. wars that could weaken through enough the creatures were a problem. true they could just pass knowledge to their allies or neutrals. but that was probably something of a stopgap than a real solution.
"do they know about life in space? I think space conquers would be a good threat" Aero stated after a moment to think of a problem. there were little issues in their world that would stop the wars, but something from the stars might.
"What a conquer?" Baili slowly asked, aero blinking for a moment." right I've been getting lessons about space and such. Some of them expanded my vocabulary," he spent a few minutes explaining what a conquer was. giving some details of the context of their situation. "if our planet shows too much weakness we'll lose it."
"why didn't you mention that there were people who would steal our planet from us," aero pointed out he had mentioned that there were threats." yeah but this is a different level of danger." aero blinked.
"the solution is still the same, get stronger and beat them when they try," he told her. besides what Aero understood about their section of the universe they were peaceful primarily, of course, he had been told that would change when people found a comic lord lived here.
he would be famous whether he wanted to or not, and the power he would wield would draw attention, zalts it probably already was. he didn't know, he hadn't asked about the auctions.
"That might be true, I like to know possible problems so that I can prepare for them." the young lord looked at the older ruler and decide that wasn't a bad way of thinking. he had faith in his adaptability, but he did plan when he could.
"that fair," he told her," but my lessons are far from complete. besides knowing what's out there if no one can get there!" she relented on the matter but had stated the scientist had made little progress proving the information or using it in the time he's been gone." well it's hasn't been long, but that wasn't why you called me here." you called me about my desire to sell local items to the universe."
"honestly how much are you going to get?" she asked, caused if it was a reasonable amount of money she might have to get in on this. alien technology would help advance the planet. Of course, she would start with things that would help the people. aero his expression shiting as if he was listing to something that the rest of them couldn't hear.
"Our specialties aren't very advanced, but that doesn't mean there are without value, the wood we harvest can match the durability of metals. it's quite a usable resource and doesn't require as much work as mining. even if it does rot. so selling that would earn us a decent amount, how do you plan to get it off the planet though."

"How did you get what you sold off the planet?" Baili brought up this question after a few moments. "you had to send something off for that clothing you sent," at this point, she gestured to the robe she wore. it was four shades of green that flowed like water. honestly, he was amazed by the quality.
"Oh, the job I got me some privileges, one of which was when they would pick up and deliver for a small extra cost," aero didn't point out he didn't know the exact number. but it was probably a number higher or lower than he expected, but he was deftly about to learn the amount as Baili tried to enter the universal market.
"though the bigger problem might be getting in contact with the lord's business representative. "her work was about two star systems away. " your right that is a problem, but thankfully was talking long term plans. " aero nodded and wondered how much longer before he could leave. he wanted to get back to training and traveling.
'I think we'll split way so we can spend some time with our family, well those who are in contact with them.' he thought as Baili shuffled some scrolls before sharing some progress on the scientist. more details than she went before, aero let the helper hear it and tell if they were going in the right direction.
'they doing mildly well, I think you'll reach your planet's revolutionary age pretty soon, hopefully reaching your communication and distal age sometime after that.' when Aero asked for a more exact number. which meant some around several hundred years, 'it also might be sooner as your planet had a higher than average solar rotation.'
'I remember that lesson,' Tova had explained that most people referred to days and years by the nearest planet. as a home planet could have different orations around days, like weeks and flowers. some plants didn't spin or revolve around a star. they tended to bring out some very interesting life forms.
turning his attention back to the country leader asked if there was anything else she wanted to talk about," not particula-" That was all Aero needed to hear before he stood up and made a beeline for the room entrance. he managed to be on the other side of the curtain before Baili could think of a reason for him to stay.
aero walked fast to the room he knew his team was continuing to plan their actions,' arrived at the curtain he took a moment to even out his breathing before he pushed it aside and entered the room. "the meeting over," Aero nodded at Lior's question as he looked over the map that had markers at all of there home villages.
"so what's the plan?"
Goir spoke first, "We looked it over and decide that splitting up is the best way for all of us to spend time at home before meeting back up at the village so we can cross the forest ocean." aero looked at the map and after a moment of running the routes himself he had to agree that was much less work for them all.
"that's a good idea, when should we split up and then meet again?" that was what they had been discussing before he walked in. so he joined the discussion, they would all need different travel times to get to their homes and then getting to the meeting place afterward.
this discussion took a few hours followed by supplies they would all pick up on the way to the meeting spot. that took less time and son the conversation turned more casual as they packed up their things and headed out onto the streets.

"oh I want to try that!" tzilla stated after idit explained a specialty of her hometown. it was kind of a small thing. while it was good idit didn't think that it was worth the effort it took to make. as every day only ten were made and more than twenty people would line up every day. She has seen people camping out in the line," I'll try but if you want it, it best you come and get in line yourself."
"how bad are the lines?" tzilla immediately asked and got a quick answer," I've lived this long without it I can continue without it." someone snorted at that, but when she looked her entire team was a straight face. most of them had a bit of amusement dancing in their eyes. expect aero, his blank expression was just that good.
"I think that was aero!" Galia stated lips twitching. tzilla moved closer to the closer to there leader. giving his face a good look over though it betrayed nothing to his emotions, which she found kind of funny considering how quickly he was to lose his temper. 'or does he not try?'
she wondered that before turning back to the rest of her team," your right I think it was him. I can't let him get away with laughing at him. what you you think I should do?"
"I think," Aero spoke up," you should do won't get you punched." aero's response remind them he wasn't afraid of violence," but at the same time tzilla noticed that there was a bit of lightness in his voice. "your right we should go easy on our esteemed leader."
they spent 4 flowers talking about as they grabbed their carts and started heading out onto the road, there was a town about 3 days away that would be a good point for them to split up until they meet up again on the edge of the country.
They spent the time just talking and relaxing, not thinking about the many struggles they were going to face. how their world was changing around them? how the world was changing because of Aero, and how it might change in the future?" this an eventful period to live in!" aero stated at one point.
'my lord that's not always a good thing, plages make a period eventful.' the helper commented, to which Aero asked what a plague was, that wasn't a word he's heard yet. when the helper described it, aero knew the words his planet used that meant the same.' we call them great sickness, some people think their curses. cast by the zalts to punish or test.' Sero wasn't sure as he hadn't heard of any Zalt or Zaltes with that kind of story.
the group set up camp for the night when the sun started dropping beneath the horizon, it didn't help they started hearing a good amount of activity. deciding that find a spot to defend before the darkness of night came. their carts made a simple barrier around the came as they set up for the night.
despite the activity, they could hear nothing coming within range of the light of their campfire. so they didn't have more than one person on guard duty during the night. when the day came around again, which had a bit of excitement when Inna encountered a serpentine feathered creature when she went to take care of his body needs.
it had been easily driven off, but her surprising shout had fully woken up the came, "What a great way to start the morning!" idit commented stretching out, checking the straps for her weapons. "I've heard worse," tzilla stated as she checked the state of her cart, there was a small problem she had to get checked when she got home. but currently, it was nothing more than an annoyance.
they set out within two flowers, heading down the road with mild chatter going off. nothing serious that Aero was sure what they were talking about wasn't going to be remembered. but it was still interesting to hear all the same as they traveled. at one point he drowned them out for a bit to form ropes of energy to send at the beast.
it was mostly to manage his energy bank, as the orbs had grown more than usual since last night, it might have had something to do with his team. he wasn't going to pick at that, not at the moment at least. there was time to look at his emotions later. for the time he just spent time around his teammates. enjoying their company before he went home for the next few weeks.
as they pulled into town around midday, Tzillia spoke up with an idea. "since this is the last time we're going to see each other for a while. let's make some memories." idit followed after her," While you make it sound like it's going to be a long while before we regroup... making some memories doesn't sound like a bad idea!"
the two turned to the group, "Any ideas?" that sparked a new wave of conversation one aero didn't participate in. his idea of spending time together was meals and sparring. from what first few ideas they went out, he knew it wasn't going to go with the others. but listening to the ideas that were going around, he was hit by how little he knew about spending time with people who weren't his mother.
'I don't regret it,' he thought. he didn't think he could regret the good memories that came from him spending time with his mother.
"Aero! What kind of drink do you prefer? what you kind of dew?" aero tuned back into to answer he didn't know. " I've never touched a drop of due." that got an interesting reaction, by that he meant wide eyes questioning gaze," what really?" Gailia couldn't believe it, everyone her age at least had a taste if nothing else, especially hunters.
"did trust the people around me too much, and downing Dew alone in my room didn't sound fun." from what he knew dew only got fun when their people around to share it with. "alright that's fair," Gallia consider." but that means tonight you're going to taste the flavors of dew." then the girls shared a look before leaving their cart to ask around town.
less than 11 petals later they returned with a location of an inn that had the largest variation of dew. also the best tasting according to the townspeople, they even had a few recommendations. aero was watching everyone as they entered the inn. which looked a little crowded and many people watching them enter.
"calm down, they're not going to dry anything if they want this building to continue standing" idit stated and there was a story of how her face twitched at a memory that danced across her mind. but before he could ask about it Inna appeared with a tray of cups, each containing a sweet or spicy-smelling thick liquid.
"Time for the dew!" aero put on his best neutral face before grabbing the cup.' here goes something!' he thought before bringing the cup to his mouth.
