Now that my work is done in Bellatrix, I have many other important tasks to attend to. Using Fast Travel, I can go pretty much anywhere on the planet with extreme ease. So I drop Francis off at the famous resort town of Ghantil, place a gold bar on the counter, and suddenly they make room for him despite normally having a six-month waitlist. He can rest and relax while I attend to my ultimate plan.

I’m thinking he will be quite pleased with that one, and hopefully he can continue the healing process from his grievous injury.

As for me, I can now begin the next stage of my ultimate plan. With Fast Travel and Choose Your Own Adventure, I can go wherever I want and do anything I need.

I am overpowered, and I’ve never felt so good about it.

Now, I have ventured into the wilds of Mystix and gathered a few important artifacts. (I have to make sure to put them back later so Miss M can retrieve them for herself!) With the Lost Book of the Four Trinities as well as the Yellowstone Rune, I have discovered the location of the Usurper’s Hall and ventured through its perilous terrain, fighting every step of the way to get to my sibling’s hiding place.

Just kidding, I Fast Travel straight there.

Here in the Usurper’s Hall, I activate a [Cloaking] skill to keep my presence invisible and my voice masked. A superstitious young one like Rare Solbourne will heed my words much more strongly now.

“Rare,” I speak with my spooky voice. “Rare, you must listen.”

They, currently meditating and floating just off the floor, do not move. But their ears twitch to signal that they are listening.

“Rare, Eryk has fallen once again,” I say. “His astral death is complete, and there is only one thing left for you to do.”

“...”

“Use Miss M to your advantage,” I tell them. “Bring Eryk back and destroy the last of the Slayers for good. But until then...”

“Until then?”

“You must heed to the Solbourne clan. You must stay here until Eryk is brought to you. You will not understand, and even feel agony over this, but you must train your hardest. You must get rid of the Destiny Deck System.”

“I already believe these things,” Rare says, as if to convince themself of their own loyalty. “But... Who are you? Why do you wish me to be so steadfast in this?”

I do not answer. I leave the Usurper’s Hall with a Fast Travel flash back to Bellatrix.

I feel sad that I was forced to manipulate my dear sibling so, but the timeline demanded it. Although I cannot help but snicker as I saunter away from them.

Now I will ensure that the rest of my life on Mystix will proceed according to plan, with one more important step.

I will create myself.
