《Judah Judas Adventures》Filler Chapter: Marcus and Fiona
Advertisement
Three years ago, as Fiona left the Royal Palace with a bag of coins, together with her teacher, Big Gus. Both of them are feeling exhausted because of the last mission they've got recently, which consisted into finding three escaped inmates and bringing them back. And they did all of this just for a small rise on their salary, 50 gold coins. Back then, you would get salary each three weeks, but now, it comes to two weeks, which is a massive difference.
As they got to the streets of the palace, the one who aren't as good as the ones from other kingdoms, Big Gus, is looking at Fiona, and he looks at her.
"We did a good job, eh?"
"Yeah." says Fiona with her sword on the sheath on the left side.
"Alright. You did a good job today. Bye, and take care."
"Thanks. Take care, Big Gus."
Fiona and with Big Gus apart away, they are going to their houses. Big Gus goes on the street to the north, and Fiona is heading to the east. As Fiona walks to the street who leads her to her house. Well, the owner of the house at that time was only Diana because Fiona was still way too young to own a house.
As Fiona took a left turn, and walk three meters, she sees a boy leaving a house. That boy looked weird, like, he wore at that time only armour, dirty armour with dust and scratches. The young man at the age of Fiona passes her, and not noticing her. Fiona noticed him, and as she watches him for a moment, she felt odd at that time. A feeling she never had ever encountered in her life. But Marcus, wasn't noticing her, he was only focussing on his walk.
***
In the present, Fiona and with Marcus, are having one biggest battle they have ever encountered. Both of them, having no way to run away from there, they are going to fight this thing. Fiona is grabbing her giant sword, which the demon, looks at it, and he laughs.
"You've got a big sword there. But my weapon is bigger."
The demon takes the fork from his body and he hold it with his right arm. The fork is about three meters long and with this, Marcus and Fiona are feeling intimidated, but they didn't even think to show it to the demon.
Marcus is looking at the demon, he takes a breath, he yells, and he straight up attack the demon while he is holding his two axes he kept for a long period of time, and he is his signature as a warrior. When Marcus approached the demon, he was about to get stabbed by the giant fork, but he used his axes as a shield to block the fork. This did made the demon impressed, but he quickly takes his fork and does some quick attacks on the Marcus. He dodges the attacks with no problems by sliding into the left, sometimes sliding to the right, and a few times he jumped back.
Fiona also charges at the demon, with her sword aimed at the creature. She stabbed the demon foot, but this had no effect on the tall creature from the other world. The demon looked at her, he kicks the woman, and he sends her a few meters back, on the floor, landing on a table. Fiona has broken the table with her.
Marcus takes Fiona sword from the demon foot, he threw it to her, and he stabs the foot of the demon with his axes, he let them there, and he jumped back as the demon was trying to stab again with his giant fork. Marcus slaps both of his hands and his hands shows a blue light. He charged to the demon foot, he takes the axes from the foot and puts both of his hands into the zone where the cut were shows. He stuck both of his hands into those two cuts, and he yells while his blue light is going through the demon blood and veins.

The demon let a scream on the air. The demon then, kicks the Marcus from the foot with the one Marcus was using to put his blue fire into the demon. His axes are left on the floor while he flies, and he struck the wall with his back. Marcus's fall on the floor with his butt.
Fiona gets from that table she broke it with the armour she wore, but that doesn't matter, what matters now is the demon who is looking very angry Fiona as she takes the sword from the floor, and she charges at the demon. When Fiona got close to the demon, she does quick attacks on it with the sword, and with the Vewolf arm she transformed at the moment her sword wasn't able to strike the chest of the demon.
The fight between Fiona and the Demon is intense because both of them are moving at fast speeds. All are able to block each other attacks with their weapons or dodge it.
After three minutes of intense fighting, Fiona got a hard hit from the demon, who sent her flying, close to the corpses of the Three warriors who are struck on the walls. Fiona looks at these warriors, and, she sees one of them, still breathing. It could be seen because he was still moving a little. Fiona has a look at Marcus, who gets up, from the floor. Marcus has a look at Fiona. Then, Fiona pointed with her look at the bodies who are at the wall of the building. Marcus didn't look there, he looked at Fiona, he only nodded in approval, and he looked at the demon who is touching the wound Marcus has made to him.
"What have you done, mortal?"
"I have put the blue blood which represents Gods of Wars." he walks to his axes, he gets all of them from the floor, and he tense, the tattoos turn brown, a colour that Fiona has never seen before, a colour that made the demon interested in the qualities of that warrior named Marcus.
The Demon takes his fork, he rises into the ceiling, breaking it, and he says this sentence, which summons a few skeletons from their ground.
"Ossa ab imis terrae. Surge et pugna pro daemone tuo nunc!"
Only twelve skeletons, all armed with swords are coming from the floor and are running to Marcus and Fiona, prepared to cut them and kill them with any way they can do it.
***
Fiona is looking at Amadeus, she observes the demon with Marcus is fighting continuously. Marcus manages to dodge some hits and blocks it with a lot of strength he still have it. Fiona is transforming her head into a Vewolf, and she spits on Amadeus legs. The saliva hits Amadeus legs which it begins her miraculously healing effect. And, she spits on the other knight, Nathan, but on his chest since it was at one meter closer than Amadeus.
Fiona gets her head transformed back to human, and transforms her arms into a Vewolf. She gets up, and she looks at the demon, who is focussing only on Marcus.
"The saliva would be able to heal them completely in at least five minutes. I should do whatever I can to buy enough time for the knights to join us." he has a quick look at the Archer, she sees that her eyes shows no life in it, and that means Ana is dead. "Damn. They got Ana. Poor skilled archer."
Fiona runs at the demon with her giant sword ready to stab him or at least cut his limbs in the better scenario.

These two people fought the demon as good as they can. Fiona managed to hurt the demon, but a little. She also got some hits from the demon, who almost broke her arms and the sword with his fists. Marcus stabbed the demon multiple times with his axes, but when he was close to incapacitate the demon when he threw the axes which are having a brown light on the sharp parts. The demon used his fork to hit the axes and redirect them to the wall of the building.
Fiona is fighting the summoned skeletons, she kills all of them in only four minutes, while Marcus is much more preoccupied to fighting the demon on hand-to-hand now since his axes are now stuck to the wall of the interior of the building. He managed to land punches with his now green aura, but this was only good enough to make the demon go a few steps back.
There was a moment where Marcus was almost stabbed by the fork, but, he jumped on the floor, dodging the fork at the last moment, and hitting the fork with his legs who are having a green aura all over them. The hits were so strong, Demon's fork got broken. The demon took the stick who was having the sharp object, and he looked at it, feeling truly scared. He threw the stick away, he takes a fighting position, his fists are now on fire, literally.
"You mortal human have destroyed a weapon. You will be a great dinner for the Down!"
"Do you truly think I will come there?" asks Marcus who is preparing himself to fight the demon, hand-to-hand.
"I will personally drag your body to my home!"
The Demon charges at Marcus, as he was prepared to defend himself, but then, something came at a high speed to the demon, he hits his face, and he sends the Demon to a piece of furniture which is getting broken by his weight and height. Marcus, who is still in a defensive position, looked at the person who just saved him, and it is Nathan, the knight who was one hour ago on the verge of dying, but now, he is fine. He made a gigantic punch, enough to sent that demon away since he got a unique battle skill, Body Stretching.
"And you thought I can die that easily." says Nathan walking to the Demon, making his big fist become at the normal size.
the demon gets up immediately, he looks at Nathan, frightened, to see him alive and in a good shape to fight. The demon raise up, and he looks around, he sees Amadeus getting out from the wall, and heading towards him slowly with his blade. Fiona is looking at the demon, and she transform both of her arms into Vewolf hands. Marcus is heading to the demon, with green aura who is all over his body.
The Demon, raises his hands in the air, and he says to those four warriors who are staying still.
"You mere mortals have won this fight. But the battle, will be to our kind!"
And he disappears, making from him a smoke cloud. Everyone is looking in disbelief at the cloud who is vanishing slowly, and finding out the demon is not there. They look around them, hoping the Demon is in the house, hiding and planning a surprised attack, but luckily, there is no trace of this demon into the building.
"Did we won?" asks Fiona to the three knights transforming her Vewolf arms back to the human arms.
"Maybe." says Amadeus stepping to the place where the demon vanished. "This is something strong that we haven't ever faced. And I don't think it will be the last time we will encounter something like that."
Nathan is looking at Ana, and he stretches his arms to her. He garbs the body which is tied to the wall, and he is handing to Fiona. He looked at her, sad and devastated.
"Your Vewolf healing effect would be able to heal her?"
"She is gone. I'm sorry." says Fiona checking her breath, but is no sign of breath, and her eyes, who shows no life, it can confirm that she is truly dead.
"No." he says putting his head on Anna corpse, he sobs, and a few tears are dropping from his eyes. "Why?... Why? Why? WHY?!" he screams on the sky while everyone from there is feeling bad for Nathan for losing a special person.
They've won the battle, and they managed to stop Big Father, but at what cost? Human lives lost and the death of a brilliant archer, who was killed by the Demons.
Soon, a few squads of knights, came back to retrieve the body of Big Father, and the bodies of the lost knights, who were only three, the commanders and Ana who will be sent soon at the Funeral, where they will be resting in peace for eternity.
When the squad of the knights took the bodies and the two strongest knights, Marcus and with Fiona are on the back of the squads, taking an empty carriage who was left there by the fugitive squads who were retreating from a safe distance and let them fight the Demon. Marcus and with Fiona are siting on the carriage, drinking health potion because of the wounds they've got from the fight earlier.
"I cannot believe this." says Fiona astonished. "We've fought a real demon."
"Yes... We were lucky we survived it." says Marcus taking a sip from the small health potion they were given by the healing knights.
"Marcus."
"Hm."
"What does the demon meant by God's Vessel?"
"You know I have God's tattoos all over my body, and they can bring me powers."
"I know that."
"The truth is Fiona, that I am not a mere human. I am a semi-god."
Fiona is feeling shocked by this information. He looked at Marcus, and he tells her.
"I am a failed semi-god."
"What does it mean?" asks Fiona to Marcus. "How are you a semi-god if you are a human?"
"Failed Semi-Gods are humans. The powers differentiate from the true semi-gods, who are able to fly the sky, move mountains and destroys provinces without a sweat. My power were able enough to stop the demon. And the race of Failed Semi-Gods is seen as a waste by the true ones, who are always hiding their faces and do the works from the shadows. All semi-gods are having human bodies, like mine. And tattoos, like mine representing the gods I have the power."
"... I understand. But why are you telling me this?"
"Because I can trust you, Fiona. You revealed your true powers to me a long time ago. You trust me to keep your secret from the knights that day, now, you have to promise me to keep this secret. Alright?"
"I promise." says Fiona taking her knife, she does a small stab on her finger, she takes the drop of blood, and he shows to Marcus. "I promise with my blood."
Fiona and Marcus are staying there until their wounds are completely healed, after that, they are leaving the area by the help of the carriage and of the single horse. As the carriage was travelling back to the Kingdom by Fiona's, Marcus stays on the carriage, he looks at his arms tattoo, who aren't revealing any light, they are now normal. Marcus looks on the night sky, he sees the stars there, and he is wondering if the demons would come back to this world ending the human race and semi-human race.

Progenitor of Mana
Leo had always felt something was wrong with him. Hell, the world even confirmed this for him with the bundle of mental and physical health issues he had to battle his whole life. At least he always had his imaginary friend, The 'Voice', to guide him through his most troubling times. But what happens when the world comes to an end at the behest of something called 'The System'? And maybe The 'Voice' wasn't as imaginary as he thought as it had been telling him this day was coming for a year. This story is not for the light hearted, at least that is the direction I have it going.
