《The Alteras Games: World Jumper Book 2》Chapter 25

Alex stood on a table watching over Jet. She never let anyone near him unless needed. Several doctors had already patched him up. Jet's body was covered in several scars from head to toe. Gegol had tore Jet up. Now remained the problem of him waking up. To get some more help Alex had told them about the AI in his inner world. That had taken a lot of explaining. But it had taken Alex two days to get the AI out of him.
"He needs salt." The AI said now that it was up and running.
"What is salt?" Alex heard the doctors in the other room questioning the AI.
"Something that isn't on this world."
Alex looked over to Jet and hopped onto his chest. Then slapped him across the face with her tail. "Wake up."
Jet groaned as he looked at Alex. "I've been awake for a few minutes now. The slap to the face wasn't necessary. Want to tell me what's going on?"
"You got beat up, and I saved you." Alex gave the short version.
"Awesome, where are we at?" Jet asked.
"I believe these people would be considered rebel's. While I was trying to escape, these people tried to get my attention with out attacking. Figured it was the best bet for escaping at the time." Alex explained. Then asked. "How do you feel?"
"Not good, I can't seem to use my magic. Almost as if it isn't there anymore." Jet wanted to use his body enhancements, but they didn't work. "I still feel like I can teleport. So that's something."
"Lord Joy got a hold of your magic then." A man wearing a cloak hiding his face walked in the room. Jet was certain he had heard the voice somewhere. The man turned and shut the door along with closing all the blinds in the room. Alex tensed up but Jet put a hand on her. If the man wanted to kill him it would have already been done. When he took his hood off Jet recognized him.
"Stix's father." Jet said.
"Right, my name is Rodger. My son explained to me what you meant by you saved him twice. But, that is not why I'm here. You are looking at the leader of the rebellion to take down Lord Joy. Thanks to you Gegol was taken out of the picture. That was the one of biggest obstacle's we had. Now if we could find a way to kill Lord Joy." Rodger frowned.
"Let me guess, you want my help?" Jet sighed.
"That would be nice. But, you lost your magic, and I would let you have Gegol's but that power is in someone else now. Hopefully he can master that power, it would be a great asset to us." Rodger frowned when he heard a girls voice in the room.
"Do you have someone that can absorb magic from the air?" The AI butted into the conversation.
"We do have someone that can cultivate magic. I'd much rather not give up a power like that." Rodger looked over to a computer monitor. "Even if we did, it takes years, or more like a decade to get magic like Ford's."

"Even with a century they wouldn't be the same. Jet here holds the magic copy. As long as he enters a world with a new magic to him. He will learn it. Jet also has far more cores in his body than most. Joy only stole his ability to create and store magic." The AI explained.
"If my ability is to copy a worlds magic. Then even if I can absorb magic from the air, I won't be able to use magic from the first world I went to." Jet thought out loud.
"Not exactly, the cores in your body will remember the feeling of moving magic. So you should be able to charge them and use the same magic. Now I've heard your stories while we were in the house. What I don't get is where you got choas and order magic." The AI looked at Jet questioningly.
"I don't know what your talking about." Jet replied.
"You can manipulate time order magic, and gravity chaos magic."
"I can't manipulate gravity." Jet didn't remember ever using gravity magic.
"I've watched the news. That black ball you created was gravity magic. It was a higher form of it. So basically, you used a higher form of gravity manipulation without even knowing you can manipulate gravity around you. If you were taught how your magic really worked, Gegol would have been a pebble to kick away." The AI let out a groan. "I think we may have to take out Lord Joy. The Tower needs to be fixed."
"Who are you?" Rodger asked.
"Right, you weren't here when I got turned on. I'm a copy of Alteras's personality. I do not have all her memories. We each however were given a task."
"Hold on, you are a part of the person who made the Tower?" Rodger asked.
"A lot o people made the Tower. Alteras was the only one left who could transfer memories to make us AI's. Most people who try to make an AI tend to go insane. Like kill everyone insane. We have to except we are not real people. It is much harder to except than one may think." The AI explained.
"Then it is possible to create an AI. I know Joy has been trying. He has been hiding that the Tower is going haywire. Joy killed the AI controlling the Tower." Rodger added.
"It's still not that easy to create us. I have a piece of Alteras's soul in that disc I reside. Now, has Joy found our library?" The AI changed the subject.
"He possesses everything in the Tower. There is a room of books, but I wouldn't call it a library." Rodger shut his eyes in thought. "I haven't exactly been in every room as well."
"The library is not in a room. It was in the AI itself. Before it died the library should be transferred to another." The AI went silent in thought.
"How would we find where this library is at?" Rodger asked.
"If not one of us then to another person. Someone with a soul strong enough to hold the knowledge. The person would need to be able to create a world within their soul. We need to find the person it was transferred to and put the knowledge back into the Tower." The AI explained.

'Jet, that sounds awfully familiar.' Alex mentioned.
'Yeah, I'm not about to admit I've got this library. Personally, I don't want them trying to get it from me.' Jet thought back.
"What would happen to the person that has it removed?" Rodger asked a question Jet was curious about.
"They would feel relieved. The library would be an extreme stress on their soul." Jet didn't feel as if it was an extreme stress on him. He was getting used to the feeling of the giant castle on his world.
"Right, it may take a while to find them. Joy killed off the AI nearly thirty years ago. I've also never heard of someone with a world inside of them." Rodger rubbed his chin.
'Thirty years ago, Jet I think it's safe to say. You didn't get this library thing.' Alex said and looked over to Jet. He had fallen asleep at some point. Rodger seemed to have noticed.
"Maybe I should come back another time. Me and the AI can take this conversation to another room." Rodger got up to leave.
"It's fine, I'll give him memories of the conversation. Why is this library so important?" Alex asked.
"It holds all of the knowledge of our fallen universe. We were trying to find a way to save ourselves. In the end all we could do is run and hide." The AI let out a sigh. "The library should have a method to save everyone. To bad none of us AI's were privy to the knowledge."
Rodger's watch beeped. "Sorry, I need to head out. Joy can't suspect that I'm here. The man keeps all his people on a tight leash. We can pick up this conversation later."
When Rodger left Jet opened his eyes. He looked around without saying a word and when he saw no one he teleported out of the building. "Right, Alex let's get off this world."
"So, we do plan on destroying the Tower then? Even knowing you can barely move. Jet, this will never work, let's go back." Alex looked Jet up and down. He only had a hospital gown on.
"I would prefer to leave now and not look back. But, I still can't seem to leave. For now, I need to get some air." Jet slowly walked to a tree to sit. "How come your still out and about. I'm bone dry on magic."
Alex laid down in front of Jet. "I am close to being out of the magic you gave me. Maybe, two more days is all I can last. Unless you want the little bit I got left?"
"Nah. Let's just sit here and relax for a few minutes." Jet looked out at a burning city. "Looks like I did a lot of damage. How many people do you think died because of me?"
"Some questions are best never asked." Alex said.
Jet nodded and closed his eyes. Then he found himself back in his world. The giant wall that went on forever seemed to still go on forever. His jaw dropped when he noticed that his grass island looked to have grown by miles. "When did this all happen?" He also noticed what looked like a small sun in the sky. Yet he couldn't see any shadows. He shrugged it off and looked more closely at the wall. After looking tell his eyes went cross eyed he noticed a door. "I wonder if it will open?" Jet placed a hand on the barely visible door and pushed. The door opened with ease and he entered.
"What an odd looking building." Alex appeared out of nowhere.
"I thought you weren't going to enter back into me. What about the last of your magic?" Jet asked as he walked toward the building changing shapes. It also had a door that was barley noticeable.
"I'm still outside watching you. Remember I am a part of you." Alex waited for Jet to open the door.
"I see, let's find out what this place is." Jet put a hand on the door and watched as it opened. His jaw dropped at the sight. "This place what I think it is?"
Alex didn't answer immediately looking around. "Yeah, this is that library that the AI mentioned."
Jet reached out for a book on one of the shelf's. When he opened it, the words looked to be forming on the pages. "So, it looks like this place is downloading."
"I don't get it. Rodger said that the AI was killed over twenty years ago. So how did you end up with the library?" Alex looked up at Jet.
"Is the AI even dead? They are code on a computer. So why not move the code away from its original source." Jet smiled then thought. 'So, when I asked for answers. I was given an entire library of answers.'
"That is plausible." Alex answered Jet's thoughts.
"Maybe this place will have a way to destroy the Alteras Tower." With that thought in mind the library shelf's moved around to change what was near him. To his amazement a book labeled Alteras Tower Blueprint showed up nearby. When he opened the book it showed everything he needed to know. "I was not expecting that at all. But, it will be much easier than I thought to take the place down."
"What do you mean?"
"There is an off sight underground bunker a hundred miles away. For an emergency to take the Tower offline." Jet closed the book with a smile.
"Jet someone is coming." Alex disappeared immediately.
Jet closed his eyes to wake in the real world. Sure enough there were two people running right at him. He got ready to teleport away but stopped. The two running at him were Almark and Lily. When they stopped in front of him he frowned. "I thought you two went back to your own time?"
Lily looked Jet right in the eyes and spoke. "We have come to stop you. The future has been changed to the point where everyone has died."

Cosmic Bulldozing Team
"Welcome to the Cosmic Bulldozing Team! CBT for short... references to any other acronyms are purely coincidental." Breve has one exceptional gift: an inborn potential for Resurrection magic. The cost? Every other healing spell she casts is absolutely paltry in comparison to the rest of her race, making her family outcasts within her society. That potential alone, however, classes Breve as a Rank A Healer. By what metric? Well, by the crazy elf lady who’s about to destroy her planet. Wait, what? Here's the low-down: her planet has been targeted by the Cosmic Bulldozing Team, which, as their name suggests, operates in the apparently lucrative business of destroying planets. This comes with the unfortunate side-effect of also murdering everyone who lives there. And Breve would’ve been killed, too, if she hasn’t unintentionally passed their audition for a new healer. Unwillingly saved by the people who just annihilated everything Breve ever knew and loved, she’s dragged into a massive spaceship before, without a moment’s reprieve, being assigned missions to sally forth and commit the same atrocities on other planets. And with Breve's home lying in a pile of celestial bedrock, it seems that cooperating is the only option. And she will cooperate, or so help her, they'll send her back whence she came: into the void of space, where the smashed rubble of her planet now drifts along. "Buckle in, rookie: you've got some planetary destruction ahead of you." (Updates every 2 days.)
