Jen closed her eyes as she slumped down on the couch in the house they'd rented, and said to everyone, "Just give me a minute of rest and I'll start trying to heal us up."

No one replied to her. Slim was patrolling around the area to make sure no one followed them, and the only person "conscious" in the room was action man. He'd sat quietly on the edge of the couch with a look of extreme anxiety about him, after he'd watched her enter the house carrying both Tamako's and Sam's unconscious bodies over each of her shoulders.

With her eyes still closed, she explained what happened to action man, and finished with, "All of our enchantments are ruined, we can't access our storage devices, and as you can see, Sam and Tamako are half turned to concrete."

She opened one eye to look at action man, who was giving her a questioning look. She asked, "You want to know what are we going to do now?"

Action man nodded furiously and pointed to himself asking if he could help somehow. Jen replied, "My body tattoo enchantments are ruined with streaks of concrete embedded in them, but at least I can still use my arms and legs without too much pain. Tamako and Sam's arms and legs are almost completely turned to concrete. I'm going to have to heal them, but my enchantment is ruined. I know the healing spell, but I've never used it. Enchantments are just so much easier than complex spells that require both vocal and physical casting to complete."

Action man responded by pointing to himself emphatically again, and Jen replied, "You help feed, clean, and take care of everyone, and let me focus on learning the proper method for casting the healing spell."

Jen closed her eyes with the intent of resting for only a minute or two, but fell asleep from the physical and mental exhaustion. Action man watched as she fell asleep, and then grabbed some small rags and started cleaning up the dirt and blood covering Jen, Sam, and, Tamako. After witnessing his master's body being healed by the young woman, Action man knew that these three were his master's only hope to recover his sanity, but he knew if it didn't happen soon, the others would find them.
