It's been a lil bit. Nearly reaching 2 months now, I've set out plans for the rewrite and started work on the first book.

For those of you who are still following the book and might want an update, I thought I'd outline some of the work I've done in the last couple months towards the rewrite. The structure will be that of a traditional novel series. I'll end up uploading one or two chapters a month, but they'll be the same length as a traditional novel chapter (for the most part, generally longer than a typical 1.5-2k word chapter). The idea is that I'll have Draconic Transcendence written in such a way that I can send manuscripts out to publishers to see if I can get the book published.

The story is changing rather heavily. At least the early stuff is. And some of the character development is going to be a lot different. I'll be exploring some characters in more depth, and providing much more of a backstory to those who I feel need it considering their position in the story.

For now, I've got broad outlines for the first 3 books, and prologues written for the first book, as well as work on the first couple main chapters mostly done. I don't want to begin uploading chapters until I've more or less finished the first 2 books, but we'll see how things develop in that regard (I may upload earlier, or later depending).

I really appreciate all the well wishes and kind words on the intial hiatus announcement. I hope you all look forward to Draconic Transcendence's return!
