《How I Became A Jarl》All-seeing Eye pt. 4

On the wheel, there were six possibilities. There was expert proprioception, shadow form, cunning strike, miss perception, ghost swordsmanship, and expert prediction. Some of them sounded cool but some didn’t look like good powers.
[ Loki ]
“I limited the numbers of powers to the ones that are most useful in fights.”
Of course, he had to make a big and heavy wheel. I used almost my full strength to spin it. It moved so slowly that it was so annoying. I just clenched my teeth and waited. It finally landed on “Expert Proprioception”.
[ Eric ]
“What in the hell is that?”
[ Loki ]
“In simple words… No movement of your body will be impossible for you. You’ll become more efficient.”
[ Eric ]
“No movement will be impossible? So like I can do a backflip or something?”
[ Loki ]
“And my last word of advice. Try to keep that girl close to you. She might be a good ally for you.”
I came back to reality with healed wounds. Dian was already free and surprised that I didn’t have a scratch on me. He checked my face from every angle and even touched me to see if it was real.
[ Dian ]
“Where are your wounds? You had them a second ago…”
[ Eric ]
“That’s part of the reward for doing the quest for Loki.”
[ Dian ]
“Quest?”
[ Eric ]
“You god didn’t give you any quests yet? Well… Loki likes to amuse himself so maybe that’s why I got a lot of them…”
[ Turiel ]
“Wait… Do you mean the two of you are blessed by the gods?”
[ Dian ]
“Three. I’m blessed too!” Shouted Dian as she showed his tattoo.

[ Turiel ]
“So there’s still a chance to stop my brother.”
When Turiel gained hope to free the town from Meka’s hands, I was trying my new power and immediately did a back flip and front flip while standing in place. It felt smooth and fast like I didn’t waste any speed on unnecessary movement. It was perfect. I would love to toy with those thugs with that power.
[ Eric ]
“I think the plan is simple. We’re going straight for the office to beat him up.”
We took the weapons that the thugs brought. Dian took knives, Turiel took the bow, and I took the hammer. Now I know that Stella is blessed but she is still a child. I can’t take her with us. Violence is not good for kids' development. Even though she killed three guys just now.
[ Eric ]
“Skyge and Stella you’ll stay behind.”
[ Stella ]
“But you’ll need me. You will need us right Skyge?”
[ Skyge ]
“Yes!” He said but everyone heard one bark.
[ Eric ]
“It’s not like I have any powers to stop you… Okay. Be behind us and only help if we don’t stand a chance. I can take a few hits.”
[ Stella / Skyge ]
“Okey!”
Now It was time to go straight to the main office to beat that guy. It would be helpful if Dian could spread his fog all around the town but he isn’t that strong. We had to rely on birds. They might no longer hide thinking that they caught us but it’s always a possibility.
[ Eric ]
“Hey, captain. Between you and your brother who is stronger in one-on-one fights?”
[ Turiel ]
“When we sparred I usually won but he might have been hiding his strength.”

[ Eric ]
“So we don’t know his exact strength… Stop! Two guards on a tower. They don’t look like your regular guys. Definitely Meka’s thugs.”
[ Turiel ]
“I’ll handle them.”
Before he even checked where they are he already drew his bow and once he turned around the corner he shot in a split second and grabbed the second arrow. He’s not only fast but very accurate. Both of them were shot in the head, where helmets didn’t cover their faces.
I couldn’t exactly tell what was happening from bird's view but from up close it looked like the thugs were gathering people in one place in front of the main office of guards. I don’t know how many people live in this town but they gathered a lot of them and blocked all the ways out. Whatever was going to happen they wanted everyone to see it.
Everyone went silent once the doors opened. Two men left the building. One was wearing full leather armor with some metal plates covering his vital spots. He had long dark hair and two swords on his back. Beside him was someone with a rope on his neck. His clothes were torn and his face was swollen.
[ Turiel ]
“That’s my brother… and Jarl…”
[ Meka ]
“May I get your attention?” Everyone was looking at him but the chatter didn’t stop. “By attention, I meant could you SHUT UP?!”
From what I know he isn’t blessed yet I felt such a strong presence from him. Maybe blessed ones aren’t that special when it comes to strength? I didn’t ask Turiel what god his brother follows. Nah… He probably hid it from him.
