All three of them came. They had knives, hammer, and bow. They came as promised to repay me for that beating in the tavern. It’s gonna be painful but I hope I can somehow use this to my advantage and escape.
[ Eric ]
“Hey, boys! Missed me?”
[ Man ]
“You bet. We have some unfinished business after all.”
When they entered the building I no longer could see them and the birds weren’t interested in that at all. I should bring some seeds or nuts with me next time to somehow attract them. One of them approached me and punched me in the stomach.
[ Man ]
“Oh wait. That’s not the spot where you hit me… It was there! RIGHT?!” He shouted as he hit me in the face with his knee.
[ Dian ]
“Eric?! What’s happening?”
[ Man ]
“Shut up kid if you don’t want to get beaten.”
[ Eric ]
“You call that a beating? I could beat you guys any time…”
Come on. Do something stupid, guys. Pick me up and free me for some dumb reason. Your some thugs without brains after all. While I was waiting for some kind of answer they stabbed my foot. It was so painful that I screamed without a second thought. To shut me up they punched me in the face again. I thought that I lost a tooth but luckily it was just a weird feeling.
[ Man ]
“Give me that hammer. Next will be your fingers.”
I was prepared to take a hit but there was nothing but silence. Something was sniffing me and when the bag was pulled away from my face I saw Skyge in front of me. He began licking my face.

“Thanks for saving me, Skyge.”

“But I didn’t do anything.”
[ Eric ]
“Than who…”
Once Skyge moved away to free my hands I saw Stella standing by the blood pool and dead bodies of those thugs. They were impaled on spears. Once Stella dropped her hand down the spears disappeared. I could see something red shining on her shoulder.
[ Eric ]
“Don’t tell me… You’re a blessed person… Aren’t you Stella?”
[ Stella ]
“I am?”
[ Eric ]
“I guess you’re too young to understand. Do you know who blessed you? The god that speaks to you?”
[ Stella ]
“You mean papa and mama?”
Once I stood up I noticed that her left shoulder also had a shining tattoo. Is she blessed by two gods? Wait… Does that mean she is that special person I was looking for? Is that what you wanted Loki?
[ Loki ]
“So that’s who took her…” With those words, everything went dark and I was on a chair.
[ Eric ]
“So she is the one?”
[ Loki ]
“Yes… I was going to bless her but someone was faster and took her.”
[ Eric ]
“Were you going to use her for your amusement?”
[ Loki ]
“No. Compared to you she has potential and most likely will become a Valkyrie one day. With her, I could turn the scale of powers in the realm of gods to my advantage. For some reason two biggest opposites blessed her. Tyr, god of war, and Frigg who is known as one of the most peaceful goddesses.”
[ Eric ]
“You mean she was chosen by two gods?”
[ Loki ]
“I imagine that most of the gods wanted her…”
[ Eric ]
“If you want someone strong then give me that good power you promised…”
[ Loki ]
“Fine… Spin the wheel… There will be only legendary powers…” Said annoyed Loki.

The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey.
