《Reborn on a Systemless Earth... With a System》Chapter 196: More Discovery Than Ever

I’m up to Level 137 now, thanks in large part to the utter destruction I inflicted upon what will eventually become known as North Spire. In modern day Mystix, my contributions here will be long forgotten. And my homeland will be thriving. That’s how I prefer it.
Francis and I spend the afternoon together cuddling, and then the evening singing campfire songs together. It’s just the things we do together in our shared isolation.
A month has gone by, or maybe two. I don’t know anymore; we don’t have a calendar or anything to keep track. Unfortunately for Francis, his Nook finally did give out, but bless its heart for the fantastic battery life. Everyone should buy a Nook and read all an unlimited number of stories on Nook Plus, I think.
I’ve discovered so many locations that the Destiny Points are starting to go thin. And if I kill too many more dinosaurs, I might send them extinct tens of millions of years before they actually are supposed to (during the Great Dam War of 478, where they were/will be the aggressors against the mighty beavers and were/will be driven to elimination by the likes of the mysterious Fury Twins).
I wonder, though, if there might be a better path than this.
I’ve been drawing Destiny Cards like crazy, looking for something to perhaps propel us into the future in a more prosperous time for Destiny Point excursions, but so far I still haven’t come across the [Irredeemable Force] I would need to make it possible. It’s as if Destiny itself takes issue with my desire to turn tail and exit this era.
Or perhaps it knows I still have options remaining.
After a little discussion with Francis about dinosaurs, I’m given a particularly stupid idea. But one that might send me over the edge into S-Rank territory if it all works out.

I get on Yoshu, bid him my farewell for now, and make my move, activating the Fast Travel ability and hoping this works--
And--
It does!
Even in the past, thanks to already having visited The Goddess’s Domain via both Earth and Mystix, in two directions, I am able to transport myself directly here!
The Goddess is here, tinkering away at her ethereal machines and looking all together too busy to even notice me.
If only I could sneak through a portal, but alas.
I have to tap her on the shoulder. She lets out a robotic shriek.
“What in the name of all that is Jimmy Carter?!” she shouts.
“Hello, The Goddess,” I greet.
She calms down quickly. “Oh, you’re some wise guy who cracked the code, ain’t you? I ought to get better quantum encryption. Actually, I’mma do that right after this. Ain’t nobody breaking past me.”
“No. It’s just my Fast Travel ability that has allowed me to visit this location thanks to having visited it before in my perceptive past.”
“...”
She has no idea what I’m talking about. I forgot that she is likely currently tinkering with the very systems that will be deployed in our many worlds. Intelligent life has likely not even entered her realm of thought yet.
“Okay, so you’re saying you’re a danged mortal in my realm. Mind explaining that to me a little?”
“Dear The Goddess, it is nothing to be worried about,” I say. “I assure you mortals come to this place all the time.”
“Really? Huh. Nice.” She stews on it for a second, then adds, “Wait a minute, I’m not The Goddess. Name’s just God.”
“No, you are and have always been The Goddess as far as I’m aware,” I say.

“...Huh. Gee, that might could explain a few things. The Goddess’s sure got a nice ring to it.”
“Just know that when pink haired people like me arrive in your domain, you should be extra special kind to them. People like me.”
“And who are you?”
“Just think of me as your guardian angel.”
She nods. “I’ll do it.”
“Then I have a favor to ask you,” I say. “May I have access to the planet Earth? For just a brief moment so I can ensure that history plays out like you have intended?”
“Whatever that means, sure,” she says. “Go ahead.”
The Goddess opens a portal up and I travel to this new world.
Earth, years in the past... But not many.
Dinosaurs roam free. Supercontinents form the basis of the planet. And I have Destiny Points to accrue.
Yoshu and I zip around the world at blistering speeds, racking up so many points I hardly know what to do with them. Mercilessly slaying dinosaurs as they pass by.
Such a thing may be considered extremely unethical. Unfortunately, Destiny has already decided the fates of these creatures. I am simply facilitating the history Francis already taught me.
Finally, after a few hours of zipping through the planet, we ascend high up into the sky, so high that air itself is nearly gone.
To the edges of space, protected from destruction only by me [Flame Shield] skill.
Yoshu is scared and confused, but I reassure it that there is nothing to be concerned about, not when I’m around.
Okay, here goes my plan.
I use a new Destiny Card I pulled a few weeks ago, one powerful attack reserved only for A-Rank [Demigods] and those who have pilfered their cards:
Meteor Shower+: Rank 31. Summon a large comet to strike down at your foes, and anything around them. Good stealth attack. Cost: 45,000 LP.
I activate two [Double Dip] skills before hand, and then use the [Meteor Shower+] card.
A massive flaming rock appears before me, perhaps ten kilometers in diameter, and goes flying right into planet Earth at blistering speeds, due for a violent collision.
I decide to Fast Travel away before impact so as not to be eliminated from existence.
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
Ding!
The dings do not stop for a few days.
Let it be known that I have reached enough Destiny Points to rank up.

Origin of Chaos (Rise of Anarchy Book 1)
A stream of cataclysmic incidents. A tide of horror and sadness interspersed with small moments of light. What drives Nyx forward? Is it the need for revenge that haunts his dreams? Is it his beloved comrades he leaves behind, with the promise of returning? Is it the demons ravaging Earth, his homeworld he abandoned over five-hundred years prior? When Nyx passes through realms in his return home, Chaos builds, and the balance is shifting. Unwittingly he becomes both its catalyst and harbinger. This is his story. Note from Author: Things have come up irl so I have had to put the story on a (hopefully) short hiatus.

Tyson was just a handyman. A non-motivated slacker. The kinda dude that you inevitably find hanging out doing odd jobs at the local trailer park, a couple ragged bucks in their pocket and a jar of change on top of their ancient microwave. That was, of course, until the arrival of BuyMort.Nanobots of a mercantile sort, the robots of the Shopocalypse, these bad boys set up shop in everything with even an ounce of sapience and installed the only app anyone would ever need to have — BuyMort, the multidimensional monopoly with something for everyone. Priced appropriately in accordance with the market's desires. For some it was a nightmare. For others it was a travesty. For Tyson, it was the birth of an empire.

Glyphnax had finally reached his ultimate goal, they had emancipated themselves from their infernal patron after centuries of servitude. It took them all their might to ensure that they did not die in that cold and airless space before they were knocked unconscious from the strain. Magic has long since been disproven as a force in that universe and Glyphnax near god-level powers have been reduced to a mere shade of what they were before. Strange blue boxes with arbitrary numbers and statistics fill up his vision and his stranded on a strange ship manned by Humans and other weirder creatures.
