《Reborn on a Systemless Earth... With a System》Chapter 195: The Foundation of the Spires

A brief cosmological history of Mystix and its original creation.
The Goddess may have generated the world in her domain, but it still formed through natural processes. For Earth, it took billions of years of luck and lava. For Mystix, it took the Titans.
Two towering, gargantuan dinosaur creatures, one called North Titan, the other called South Titan, raised up massive, magical armies in the cosmos and waged everlasting war upon each other, vying for supremacy over all existence.
The battles were so massive, so magical, that they formed the entire basis for the world we inhabit today.
The fallen dinosaur soldiers littered space, and their magical energies fell out to form the landscape, the minerals, the chemical elements come in contact with every day. Over time, and entire world had formed. And yet still the battle raged on.
According to the myths, both Titans were eventually felled in their own homes, betrayed by their own armies. The South Titan’s death brought forth all the plants and animals with its final carcass seeping into the environment. The North Titan’s death generated the genesis of intelligent life that supposedly sprang up from the soupy ether flowing out of its body.
But here in North Spire, millions of years in the past... There’s clearly no other intelligent life.
Also, North Spire, at this point in time, is still known as the Titan’s Domain.
I’m about to finish this beast off and make sure intelligence comes to Mystix.
But before I do, I’ll let you in on a little secret I’ve uncovered.
A trick, of sorts. Only I don’t know the player, and I certainly don’t know the target.
It’s quite obvious that North Spire and South Spire formed, over millions of years, from the skeletons of the Titans. They’re the most important relics of our magical past, and the pinkness of the haven root and possibly the entire North Spiran race likely comes directly from the ancient magic directed here.

But there is no Central Spire.
It doesn’t exist.
I’ve searched all over the planet, even accounting for continental shift. And it’s nowhere in sight. Nowhere in the cosmological myths. And I have no recollection of ever hearing of it at any point in my journeys across the world before my carriage accident. And I was in the Adventurer’s Guild!
It was constructed, and done so after my death. It was created... But by whom, and for what purpose?
Joe Biden certainly didn’t make it.
And that’s giving me plans...
But not plans I can act on at the moment.
No, as I walk into the Titan’s Domain, with ethereal magical dinosaur creatures circling me and ready to absorb my essence, my mind is focused entirely on my path to S-Rank heroism. Nothing else.
The North Titan, a gigantic pink dinosaur with a million gnarled teeth and an aura stronger than even Julie Rafati’s, casts most of its fifty-plus eyes down on me, as if to say, what kind of puny thing even are you?
I look up and smirk, as if to say, I’m just the being that will murder you and fulfill the cosmology.
Hundreds of dinosaurs around me, and its leader standing before me.
Betrayal? No. The only betrayal in this story is a betrayal of the heart. Knowing you were nowhere near strong enough to prevent my rise to permanent prominence.
The whole battle is, as Francis puts it, a piece of cake.

Labyrinthia's Maze
I had always found the idea of “Other Worlds” stupid. Magic wasn’t real. Even if it was the chance of someone spiriting away someone form a world without magic to a world with seemed utterly stupid. After all, what good would a tech geek do in a world of Dungeons and Dragons. Well, jokes on me, I guess. As I was about to log out of the NVR game I have been obsessing over for over 8 years, I blacked out. Next thing I know I am now living as my in game avatar in another world. Only I am now back to scratch, no more giant 200 floor dungeon, no more army of minions and traps, just me and a small room in the ground. Luckily, I have all I need to slowly rebuild my dungeon, I only hope I live long enough to do so. Who sent me here, what do they want from me, and can I ever return home? There better be answers to these questions because, while being my avatar is awesome, I also want to go home… I think.

Iferes: Slaves Of The Gods
Iferes are creatures that roam the world. They are everywhere, and anywhere. From the deepest seas, to the highest mountains. From the heart of volcanos, to the never melting glaciers. Some are weak, some are strong. Some are calm, some are bloodthirsty. What they all have in common, is that they fight for survival. For hundreds of thousands of eras, humans and Iferes lived in a world of war and blood. Ifere against Ifere, Ifere against humans, and humans against humans. But one day, in a very distant past, the twelve Mystic Iferes, and the twelve greatest kings of humanity, joined hands to end that cruel era. Together, they created a contract. A contract that, once made, would bound the two parties, and could only be broken in death. Millions of years went by, and that period of war faded in legends. And a child was born, a child that would change everything. For bad or worse, only time would say. ----------------------------- Hello, everyone! Just a few warnings before you read the novel, so you won't be disappointed. First of all, as you can probably tell, I took more than a few ideas from pokemon and the like. It's almost impossible to write a novel where creatures (Iferes) have a major part in, and not relate it to pokemon. However, as you will see as the novel goes on, I tried (and I think I succeeded) in making a universe of my own. I am sure you will like it. Secondly, compared to pokemon, my novel is a lot darker, as you probably noticed by the synopsis. I also try to give a wild west vibe to it, if you know what I mean. Thirdly, you should check out my fanfic Broke: A Clone Wars Tale. Biased as I am towards it, I think it's a great story, and so do many of my readers. It will also give you a glance at what writing style to expect. Fourth and last, I feel like it's only fair that I tell you I am a student. As much as I love writing, my main priority will always be my studies. After all, writing is just a hobby for me, at least for now (fingers crossed). As such, there probably will be interruptions in the release schedule here and there, but, if you followed me on my other novel, you will know I rarely missed an upload, and, when I did, I always made up for it. So, with all that said, I hope you can give the novel a try, and leave a review. If you are a new reader, I hope we can have a lot of fun along the way. If you read Broke, then we already made a journey together, and I hope you will follow me on a new one. Also, you should check out my patreon, there you can get chapters in advance (although they will all be published normally after a while), and a few other benefits. I appreciate every bit of support you can give me! patreon.com/reis123 PS: there will be romance, but no harem or reincarnation. The MC is just someone who was born and raised on this world.

Same Crap, Different World
A young man from early 21st century wakes up in a different world. This world is like a typical setting of an fantasy isekai novel. But it is also not. There is magic, alchemy, magical creatures, different non-human races, peasants and nobles, demons and dragons. But there is also politics, persecution, supremacism of every kind, entitlement, slavery and other unpleasant human tendencies. In short, this new world does not differ much from his old one. However, besides him, there may be others who have made such a strange trip, and awakened into this new world. There certainly have been others, in the past. But more than people and other living things, there have been items. All sorts of items, which are regarded as otherworldly artifacts with unknown danger and power. And he himself is an artifact as well, albeit a living one. Therefore he has use for the powers that be. He is also given a role and expectations to fulfill, to hide his real value. And in all that he still has to make sense of what has happened, what is happening, and find a way back, if possible. Author's note: I write this project mostly in (except chapter 1) in 60-100 page (40,000-70,000 word) chapters, edit them as such and later cut them down for publishing into 7-11 page segments (depending on natural breaks in the flow). Therefore, each chapter may be divided into 10-15 subchapters.
