《Tuatha de Danann》Tuatha 338 Book 4 Chapter 31

Apollimi froze as she sent out feelers, connecting with the multitude of Avatars that existed across the multi-verse to parse the Atlanteans that existed and the skills and traits that were part and parcel of each civilization.
I couldn’t follow her exact progress, but in those multi-verses where the Sidhe existed, I had enough presence to do my own examination. I felt Danu observing what I was doing, prompting me occasionally to highlight characteristics she thought interesting.
Danu had not been invited to the meeting the System had initiated, but she had followed all the same. She had remained unobtrusive, hidden in the echo of my [Domain]. I had known she was there, but this was the first time she was making her presence known.
I only had the barest idea of the reason for her interest or why she would prompt me to share her choices, but she was the leader of my Pantheon. For now, that was enough reason to agree.
“I believe you will notice some commonalities between most of the Atlantean civilizations you examine,” I said once I noticed Apollimi active again. “Commonalities that have made it into the literature of the humans of this planet. First, most of the Atlanteans have the ability to live on land and in water. They can breathe air and water and survive the crushing pressure of the ocean's depths or the thinnest air from the highest mountain.
“They are technologically advanced. They have the ability to create force domes that allow them to construct massive underwater cities that can survive the deepest depths of the Mariana Trench. Those same cities have tunnels made of water that allow for rapid transport.
“Almost every civilization is psychically gifted. Telepathy, empathy, the ability to share thoughts with fish and mammals, weapon sense, telekinesis, and water manipulation. The few select races that have adapted technological adaptations and body modifications are the most successful, their civilizations expanding across galaxies.
“I don’t mean to influence your decisions, but I will say that Danu believes our two Pantheons can work together in this universe, buttressing each other and forming a lasting alliance.

“We’ve both had to contend with the machinations of Asgard and Olympus, and we doubt those machinations will end. They will get a foothold in this world. Those Gods are too ingrained into the literature of this world. They exist as heroes and villains in their movies, comics, and books.
“They have the same access to their Avatars and those memories that you have. They will know that you originated on Urd and how you gifted the Titans with the mantle of [Destroyer].
“The Atlanteans and Sidhe also exist, but not with the same fervor and popularity. I cannot speak for Danu, but I can say that this offer of an alliance is real. And that Danu is willing to swear a [Oath] that an alliance between our people will be one made with honor and truthfulness.
“The Tuatha de Danann will not enter into phony alliances where only lip service is paid and ignore the intent of that alliance. We will not wait, planning to take advantage of any weakness, for the right moment to forsake our alliance.”
“And where would Danu suggest we build this new Atlantis with this race of technologically, psychically gifted Atlanteans?” Apollimi asked.
I wasn’t sure if her question was meant to be mocking or if she genuinely wanted a suggestion. I decided to answer as if her question was genuine, even if she didn’t really want our opinion.
A brief discussion with Danu as we viewed the newly created Earth .“Here,” I said, sharing the area Danu had highlighted.
The System restored the plants and animals that were out of phase and added new ecosystems with never-before-seen bio-diversity. New plants, animals, and monsters would flourish in this new world.
It was easy to see that territories had been relegated to level zones, places where experience could be farmed, and places of safety. I found it interesting that this world used the new ranking System that had unlocked on Talahm- G, F, E, D, C, B, and A.

A person could advance to S-Rank, but that would require evolution and ascension to God-Rank. There would be no ranked zone where demigods and godlings could be farmed. God-rank would require a commitment to farming A-rank zones and dungeons.
“This island chain has areas of land that include every level zone. More importantly, the ocean area between each island has its own zones that would match the land for opportunities. You could create villages and safe zones that overlapped, villages built partly on land and in water.
“There are other areas that might have served, but there is one additional feature to this island chain found nowhere else close to land,” I pointed out. “There is a version of the Mariana trench here, one whose depth is almost a third deeper. A place where the city of Atlantis could be built and a network of transportation tunnels could be created to connect land and water together and take advantage of the different zones and the bio-diversity.
“The islands themselves were rich in elements, including those best used for technology and magic. Mithril, Adamantane, and Palladium will be available once the people have discovered their existence and location.
“The ocean itself is rich with coral reefs, fish species, mammals that make the water and land home, and far enough from any other land masses that the Atlantean people should be isolated long enough to gain strength and learn how to defend or make war if needed,” I finished.
I had to give Apollimi credit. She didn’t dismiss Danu’s advice out of hand, nor did she agree to her suggestions without pausing to give the information I had shared with her real consideration.
“Will the System build the city of Atlantis and allow the transportation tunnels, or will that technology be proscribed as it has been on Pangaea?” She said after a moment of quiet reflection.
“If the Atlantean Pantheon selects the Psi-Techno fusion as an adaptation, the [System] will offer an advanced tech path forward for those choosing the Atlantean race. The System will allow the technology to build domed underwater cities.
“There will be a few scattered established towns made available, not the large capital city that Teigh has mentioned, but domed cities where your people can survive. The people who immigrate will have enough of the foundational skills and knowledge that the Atlanteans will need to build a massive capital city on their own through their own efforts.”
“How is that fair?” Terra demanded.
“Fair?” The [System Administrator] wondered. “What has fairness to do with anything? Was it ‘fair’ for Olympus and Asgard to introduce a virus into the System to try to conquer the Sidhe?
“Was it fair for Atlantis to be destroyed because the Olympians chained the Titans beneath the Earth’s mantle?
“Was it fair that most of the people that will return and get a second chance were forced to suffer a life with classes and races forced upon them?
“You are a Goddess. You allow earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and avalanches that can and do will a host of mortals. Is that fair?
“Do not speak of fairness.
“You were given a boon. You choose to use that boon to reform Pangaea and expand the size of the world. The Atlanteans have been given a different boon. One that will be executed differently. One that the System sees no reason not to approve.
“Then let it be done,” Apollimi decided, agreeing to the type of Atlanteans that would be given a foothold on this new Earth and the location to build their empire.
“And for you, Teigh?” She said, turning to me and ignoring the sputtering of Terra and Gaea, who tried to remind the [System Administrator] that Eda, an Atlantean Goddess, had been involved in those decisions.
“What would you ask of the System for the Sidhe?”

The Fall of The Gods
Synopsis: In the year 1966, an army of Orishas led by Sango stormed Amadioha’s palace and razed it the ground, starting a decades-long war between two of Nigeria’s most powerful divine orders. Blinded by the rage of battle, the gods did not detect the rise of a third power, far greater and deadlier than anything they could have imagined. When gods, on both the Yoruba and Igbo sides, begin falling mysteriously to their death, Sango seeks the help of Odion, a Lagos teenager destined to rise from his dark past to become a hero. But can a human hero save the gods from a doomed fate? The Fall of the Gods is an action-packed YA fantasy based on the mythical bond that ties human life with the realm of the divine. It demonstrates the power of stories to change our lives. It also reminds us that Sango and Amadioha are not relics of the past and that, sometimes, what it means to be a hero in today’s world is knowing how to find inspiration in the stories of the gods. PLEASE NOTE: Weekly chapters will be released every friday along with interludes once in a while about Nigerian mythology. I'm a young 17 year old writer and I am new to the site so I will appreciate your comments and reviews. Thank you very much.
