Evan POV:

I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND MY BEST FRIENDS HERE!!!!

Aisha: YOU GUYS CANT SEE IT BUT I'M FANGIRLING SO HARD RIGHT NOW!!!!

Evan: I ALSO WANT TO FANGIRL, but the people near me will think I’m crazy. I just have a giant ass grin on my face.

By people near me, I meant Faith and Hope, who were clinging to my legs cause I tried telling them to go back home. Oh, I also see Luna, who's spying on me, I’ve caught her a few times before as well and confronted her about it but she told me it’s to make sure I’m not doing any magic experiments. Her instincts are strong, because I was about to do that.

Aisha: Evan, Why in the Hell are you like 35 Km away? And why can’t I see Walter’s nametag?

Huh?

When you join a team, you can see other players' of the same team’s, name tags, health, and how far away they are from you. I searched for Aisha's name tag which would reveal all the information I needed. After a moment of searching, I finally found it. To my surprise, it displayed that she was a staggering 35,302 meters away from my current location, further northeast from my house.

I then looked around for Walter’s name tag, and Aisha was correct, I couldn’t find him anywhere.

Walter: Well… You see, there's a thing that happened… I'm Dead.

Uhhh…

Evan: Wut?

Walter: I was in a snow biome, had no gear on me, got surrounded by tons of Eskimo zombies and… they killed me. It also didn't help me that I was the Hero of Range or something and it reduced the effectiveness of any and all things I used by 50%. My only weapon was snowballs and you can’t really go far with just snowballs in your inventory.

Aisha: Oh yea, that sucked because I also spawned with no gear.

Evan: What? I spawned with a Short sword, a pick, and an axe. The default beginner gear.

Aisha: Dam, we really got bugged out and denied our starter gear? That’s some bullshit, It was lucky that I spawned next to a kingdom who saved me from any kind of danger.

No gear? Wait, something's wrong here. I had gear when I spawned, but I was also in someone else’s body. I wonder if they’re in somebody else’s bodies too, but we’ll talk about that when we meet up. Because it feels like something sinister is in play here.

Aisha: Oh yea, I'm a Hero as well. The Hero of Magic.

Evan: Huh really? I'm also a hero! The Hero of Skill, So, Uhhh Walter, How are you talking to us?

Walter: I'm a Ghost right now. I can't do anything except for wander around and chat like this. Like in Terraria Hardcore Character.

Aisha: Fricken hell. What do we do now?

One man is already down huh… Wait a minute.

Evan: Hey Walter, can you see any debuff on yourself or anything similar?

Maybe. Just Maybe.

Walter: Yea, I got a "Death" and "Ghostly Figure" Debuffs.

HELL YEA! I pumped my fist in the air while Hope and Faith were looking at me weirdly.

“What is papa doing?” Hope asked me and I had to tell her that I’m magically talking to a friend so they shouldn’t be too confused… trouble is, Luna is eyeing me with suspicion.

Evan: Okay, Let me go ask the Nurse if she can save you.

Walter: Huh? What's she gonna do?

Aisha: The Nurse can Heal all types of debuffs and status ailments.

Walter: Ohhhh, I didn’t know that.

Aisha: That’s a very noob thing to say.

Walter: Oh, come on! I don’t have 700 hours in this game like you guys do. I have a life... well 'had' one at the very least.

Aisha: You gotta pump those numbers up, they’re rookie numbers. Also, Evan. Did you get a nurse too?

Huh?

Evan: Yea, you have one as well?

Aisha: Yea, I do. But that shouldn't be possible, right?

Evan: I Already accepted the fact this world is like Terraria, but not actually Terraria. For now, let's focus on finding a way to fix Walter and after that, we'll catch up when we'll meet together.

Aisha: Alright! :D

I quickly calmed my vigorously beating heart as I looked down to my daughters on my legs. “Papa? Did something happen?” Asked Faith who was on my left leg.

“You look weird.” Asked Hope who was on my right leg.

Well, I talked with my best friends from my world and one of them is Dead. ‘weird’ is an understatement.

“Papa just got a realllllly important mission that he needs to do.” I said, “If I can’t do that then some people’s life will be in danger. So, how about you two be good girls and go inside to see if Aunt Mia needs some help, okay?”

They both looked at each other, nodded and started running inside in search for Mia. I then looked towards Luna and she hid back inside the house. I couldn’t wait any longer and hurried my way inside and bumped into Luna, I wasn’t really in the mood to confront her about her spying so I decided to ignore her and make a beeline straight towards the nurse.

I went to her room and found her sitting alone staring at a flower vase that I put on her table, I keep forgetting that she doesn’t have a soul according to the guide so she acts like a robot like this. Regardless, I closed the door behind me and made sure we weren’t getting spied on with the Mana eyes race skill I got before.

“Emma can you fix the ‘Death’ and ‘Ghostly’ Debuffs?”

She looked at me and talked in her stoic and monotone voice. “Yes, I can.”

HELL YEAH!

Evan: Walter! The Nurse can revive you!

Aisha: My Nurse can also revive you!

Evan: Hell yeah! Alright, everyone! Let's meet Up!

Aisha: Oh I really do wanna meet you all here but... I don't know where Walter is and Evan is so far away.

Oh no, I thought to myself as I remembered her bad habit of being extremely lazy most of the time.

Evan: So, Let me get this straight… We're in a completely ‘New’ World, filled with monsters and dangers around every corner, but you don't want to regroup with your best friends because you're… lazy?

Aisha: I have priorities.

Walter: You lazy ass bitch.

Aisha: :p

Classic Aisha moment. Ugh.

Evan: Alright Fine. I'll Come to you. Walter, can you go to Aisha? The nurse there can probably heal you.

Walter: Already on my way.

Evan: Aisha, where do you live right, like a town or something?

Aisha: I live in a castle. It's the biggest and the most prospering Human Kingdom around. It's called Etalethien. It even has two branching kingdoms, one's called Balathien and the other one is called Brilathien.

Woah, I didn't know that there were Kingdoms besides the one Daisy ran… Wait didn’t she say that her Kingdom was a bit new compared to other kingdoms or something? Welp.

Evan: lol. Do you know where I live? I live in a ‘Mansion’ which ‘I made’ near… Balathien or whatever that Kingdom is called.

Walter: Woah, You already made a Mansion?

Evan: The fastest builder in the wild west, babey.

Aisha: You don't have to show your narcissism here but I heard that Balathien was attacked by a dragon?

Oh shit.

Evan: …That may or may not have been my fault. How about we discuss all these things when we meet up? I'll start packing up for the journey. You guys won't believe the shit I've been through.

Aisha: I have stories of my own but I really damn want to hear how you got a dragon to attack Balathien. Considering they don't exist in Terraria.

Walter: Don't you all dare start without me.

Evan: We wouldn't. Just hurry up and reach Aisha.

Aisha: Alright! Don't take too Long!

Evan: I Won't!

I haven't been this Happy for a Long, LONG, time!

I already wanted to run out and meet my old friends, but If I just bolt out of my house I’m going to make everyone here worry. So, that’s a big no no.

I quickly made my way towards Helputt and Nezha Room. The door creaked open as I rushed inside. I heard giggles and the laughter of my family playing with Hope and Faith on the bed. I only couldn’t see Mia, but it wasn’t important. They stopped playing as soon as they saw me coming inside with impatience written all over my face.

Wait, I thought I told those two to help Mia? I thought for a brief second as Immediately talked about the heart of the matter. “Okay guys, This is a bit abrupt, but I was going to tell you that I’m moving over to… Ethalethien?” I had to check the chat to see it’s name because there’s no way I can remember that. “I’ll probably go there for a few days because a couple things happened which need my supervision… as a Hero.”

I made sure to focus on the last three words so Helputt, Nezha, and Luna understand that it’s important stuff.

“Papa is leaving?” Hope quickly asked as she stood up on the bed.

“Yes, Papa has some work he needs to do.”

“I also want to go!” It was Faith who said it this time as she got off the bed and ran to hug my leg.

“Me too!” Said Hope as she joined in.

Oh no.

I tried clearing my throat to get the attention of Helputt and Nezha who were whispering to themselves. “Hold on you two. My work is quiet dangerous and if I bring you two then you can get hurt accidentally. Which is why, I’ll be going alone for now. Okay?”

I looked towards Helputt and Nezha for their help, but all three of us were powerless against the pair's wide, pearl-like eyes and mournful expressions.

I started having an internal battle, I couldn’t say no, neither could I say yes, but I had to say something.

MY INTERNAL DEFENCES ARE CRUMBLING!!!!

I looked down and they stared at me with puppy eyes and I immediately lost the internal fight. “Alright fine, I'll bring you two if you behave.”

“Yay!” They both cheered in unison as they started high-fiving each other.

You two have won this Round, BUT I'LL BE MORE PREPARED IN THE FUTURE!!!

Helputt looked at me with a worried face, “Evan, I can understand if your going for some important job, but what is this job you speak of? Most of things you do end up being something… Dangerous.”

“And are you sure bringing Hope and Faith with you will be a good idea?” Nezha chimed in with the same worries.

“Well… Yea. I’m not doing anything dangerous, just going there to meet an ol-” I stopped talking as soon as I realized I almost said ‘old friend’ while I’m supposed to have Amnesia. “I meant, that I’m going there to meet another hero I found out about, actually she notified me first when I was outside, so I decided to go and meet her. You know what kind of danger I always find myself in, It’d be a great help if I had another Hero with us for help, right?”

Making excuses on the fly is no problem for someone like me.

At this point Luna finally cleared her throat and brought attention to herself, I was avoiding an eye contact with her cuz I was afraid her trauma would kick in and she’ll have an inherent need to defend me from going anywhere.

“She?” Luna said with an air of anger surrounding her as she looks at me weirdly. “This hero... she's a woman?”

“Well… yea? Is that a… problem?” Luna was looking at me like she was the Yandere little sister you would sometimes see in anime.

Suddenly, a smile popped up on her face as if the angry aura before was just my imagination, she clapped her hand as if she decided something. “Alright then, I’m also going with you.” She said, I was about to protest but she continued, “We don’t know who she is right? For all we know it could be a honey trap laid on by the cultists and when you’re there, they’ll kidnap Hope and Faith and then use them for cover as they attack you. You’ll need at least someone to take care of your daughters aren’t you?”

Oh no, I thought something else was happening but no, it’s her trauma response again. At least she’s grown from not making me go anywhere to, letting me go but following me too. Atleast I can get stuff done this way.

“Alright, Sure,” I said, “Sounds reasonable. You can be the mom of Hope and Faith for now, It’ll save me a lot of trouble this way too. I'll go and get some Horses from the Guild. You guys stay here and wait for me then.”

“M-M-Mom!?” Luna started panicking as she blushed, “Y-You want me to be your daughter’s m-mom? I-It’s not like I’m not happy that you think of me this way.” She looked both happy and nervous at the same time.

I guess she just wants to act like a Mom, huh? Is her maternity instincts coming up or is this a Silver Daemon thing that I don’t understand?

Luna couldn’t bear her dignified look anymore and held her cheeks as she started jumping there. I mean I would as well if I was actually Faith and Hope's Father… Oh, wait, I am.

“We’ll tell Mia to pack some essentials for you two then,” Said Helputt as I waved goodbye.

“Oh, and Evan.” Nezha called me out as I was leaving, “Remember, Nothing Should happen to the Kids.” Her voice was cold that it send shivers down my spine. In the end, I gave her a thumbs up and left for the adventurer’s guild.

When I got to the adventurer’s guild, Thanks to my impressive achievements, Liza generously lent me two magnificent horses with glossy chestnut coats that shimmered in the sunlight. As I mounted one of the horses, I felt its muscles tensing under me, eager to run. "These are some of the fastest horses around," Liza told me with a smile. Lucky me.

The only catch was that Liza couldn't spare anyone to ride with me, so I had to lead both pure chestnut horses back to my house. As I grasped the reins of both horses and began to walk, I realized it would take a while to cover the distance.

As I finally arrived home, I noticed a group of people standing at the entrance. As I got closer, I could make out their faces - Faith, Hope, Luna, and for some reason, also Tifa. Luna stood out, struggling under the weight of several leather backpacks… Where did she even get those backpacks? I didn’t know we had those.

Hope and Faith noticed me first and came running after me, their eyes filled with curiosity and excitement. "Papa, what is that?" they asked, pointing towards the horses.

"These are horses. We're going to ride them," I replied, smiling at their innocent enthusiasm.

Hope walked towards one of the horses and began to stroke its leg gently. "Good horsie," she cooed. It was a heart-warming sight, and I couldn't help but think how adorable they looked.

Awww, that's Cute.

Pretty soon, Luna also came up and started putting the luggage on the Horses while I walked towards Tifa.

“Hey Tifa. What brings you here?” I asked.

“I was just visiting. How are you?”

“Good, good. How's the Kingdom treating you now?”

Tifa smiled brightly as she started talking happily, “The villagers already stopped talking to me which is so much better than the harassment they would give me. Aside from that the Army has taken a liking to me. I made tons of friends with the soldiers under Sarah because they were in awe with the archery you taught me.”

“Ohhh, Glad to see that things are finally turning around for you.”

“Yes… Hey Evan?” She said as she looked towards the ground as she started playing with both her index fingers.

“Yea?” I raised an eyebrow at her action as I braced myself to what she wanted from me.

“Do you mind if I come with you?”

Huh? That's out of the blue.

“Do you even know where we're going?” I asked as I placed my hand on my hip.

She nodded. “Ethalethien right? Luna told me about it.”

I scratched my head for a second as the one-man party going for an expedition had just turned into a 5-men party, “Well, I don't really mind but I thought you were a soldier with… soldier responsibilities or whatever they do.”

She shook her head, “No, I was only working with them because my mom insisted the Captains to hire me. But I left later through my own free will.”

“Don't know why you would do that, but looks like the horses are ready.” I pointed at Luna who was bringing the two horses towards us. “Looks like it’s time to leave.”
