"Did you see that?" I asked. I was sitting on a chair looking up at the King. He sat on his throne and looked like he was thinking about it too. He was a thoughtful sort, he was. Him and my other royal mandem.
This Empress doesn't impress
She got corn and skill
But she hiding her face
Slam that rambo home for the kill
"Right you are, Your Majesty!" I said. "Your flow is still bad though, you ain't no Lupa."
The King didn't say anything after that. He never looked much at me now since he had his eyes on the prize.
See, it had been a problem of vision. The King has gotta look out for his people. And all the juju going on in Jolly Ole, well it weren't right. And the King couldn't see it with those eyes of his. So when I took those eyes right out of his head and hammered in those spikes. Well, he could see things the right way now.
The Prince was sitting in a chair nearby. But his head had fallen off again. I reached over and stuck it back on the spike I had put into his neck earlier.
"Maybe some glue will keep that head of yours where it belong."
The Prince gave me a nod and a thumbs up. He wasn't any good at rapping, so he didn't say much. I told him he’s gotta try if he wants to get better…
Maybe he is practicing when I’m not here. Sneaky little bugger.
His brother hadn't even come to visit, which was downright rude I thought.
I changed back to the main topic, this Empress.
All this magic shit was no good. I had cleared London of most of it but it kept popping up. Had to take this show on the road then.

My conversation with the Prince was cut short when Willy came in. He had been with me since almost the beginning, Willy had. His real name was something else, but after seeing him naked, everyone knew why he was called Willy. I was right jealous, I was.
"My Lord Prophet," he began, "The people outside are hungry."
I mulled over the words and then looked at the King on his throne. A look that said: What kind of king lets his people starve?
He looked impressed at how much I care for the people. Of course I do. That’s why that magic stuff has got to go.
Pull down your ballys mandem
Hand ting be put on the field
The Vaux be on the streets
Opp block have what we need
I applauded. The King was already getting better. And he had the right idea too.
“Willy. We gonna go get some food.”
“Lord Prophet of Wolves, where shall our people go to find food?” Willy spoke like a pompous ass.
“Them frogs right stole our food I think. King says we gotta get it back. While we are over there, let’s clear out more of this voodoo shit.”
“Yes Prophet.”
Willy left to do whatever it is he does. I looked at the King, he grinned at me some more.
I heard a thud and saw the Prince’s head had fallen off again.

A Demon, Probably
For a demon, Bal isn't that bad. Being bad is unfortunatly a rather large part of being a demon. A world ripe with the two things Bal loves most: oppurtinity and fools. Along with his two companions: Ell, a young princess hunted by her murder-happy siblings, and Cas, her sworn protector with too much bravery and too little brains, Bal sets out to see what this world can offer a resourceful young demon.

This mission was supposed to be a standard one. Get behind enemy lines, kill the metal puppets, destroy the flying fortress, escape with body and life intact.
