I heard a screaming, a painful scream coming from the river. Diana and I are running to that path which leads to the river. We were thinking something bad was about to be happened to Diana's disciple. While we were running to that direction, we were preparing our arsenal for anything.

We got there, and what we saw, made both of us shocked. The vampire has not only drank all the blood of the disciple, it even cut him into pieces. The vampire looked at us with such a smiley face like he knew what he did, and he sees Diana looking angrily at him. He did not even sweat, he seemed happy that Diana's angry.

I look at those parts of her disciple body, laying on the ground, mosquitos flying around them and blood dripping from there. This made me sick, scared and trembling out of fear. I... I was fighting in a war, but I didn't see the horror I saw on this day to the front. Not only that, but I saw a few men getting killed on the frontline to protect their own kingdom, one man saving my life from a poison arrow and Fiona's rage. The image I saw on this day will probably hunt me, like the one of Tyron saving me instead of saving himself from that poisonous arrow.

The man who did this was one of those vampires described earlier by Diana, or by the parchment. He wore black clothes, has his face pale, and has a lot of blood around his arms and on the clothes from the chest. He has on his left hand a big knife who was mostly used for cutting the disciple into multiple pieces because what other thing would be used in cutting a man? A rope?

I took a look at Diana and I saw her being horrified by this image. She was not expecting this at all, her disciple dying, at a few meters from him. They were starting to become such good partners in hunter-disciple relationship. Diana looked terrified at me, and she whispered to me.

"Can you bring him back?"

"I cannot." I say to her. "Bringing dead people from the death, it is impossible for any wizard or mage."

"Then? How we can do this?" she asks, looking at the lost parts of his disciple body.

"I will find something." I whispered to her.

That vampire who did this is standing on the top of the chest of that disciple, licking his knife blade, who had a few blood remains o nit. This made me feel sick and disgusting by the reaction of this vampire.

"Two kids against one adult." says the vampire. "Pathetic."

"Kids?" asks Diana, feeling upset because someone judged her for being a kid due to her appearance and height.

"He is down to death." I said to the vampire, aiming my wand to him. "Light ball!"

I launched from my wand a sphere with light. The sphere was going into the vampire direction, but the vampire had a trick up to his sleeves. He takes out his wand by using his left hand and said the spell called "Shield". And a sphere, who protects people, covered him completely, making my sphere hitting the shield and made it disappears.

"What?" I said after my spell was stopped by a simple spell. He stopped my spell."

"Damn it." says Diana, feeling angry, and launches an arrow to the shield, but he just managed to crack it, not break it.

"You did crack it." says the vampire, taking off his shield and looking at those two guys who seemed a bit frighted. "Although, you young wizard. You need much more practice to be on my level."

The vampires, suddenly, summons a spear out of nowhere, and he throws it to me. But thankfully, I was able to doge that spear in the nick of time by sliding into left. Thanks to my quick reflexes, or I would've been a total goner. Diana proceeds to shot that vampire, who uses his shield spell to avoid those silver arrows. While Diana was shooting about seven arrows, I aimed my wand into that vampire, and I was about to shoot a spell which can make shield disappearing, but a random arrow flies close to my hand, and it hits the wand, breaking in half.

The other half of the wand fallen on the ground, and the other part was in my side. My first thought when I saw this was: "Shit! Now I am fucked.". I quickly cast a shield spell around me, and I look around to see where was that arrows coming from. It is hard to see where it was coming from, since on the outside, the night has come.

"Diana! There is another one here!" I said to her while I throw a shield spell around her, to help her from another spear made by magic which was launched by that vampire. "Do you see it?"

Diana looks around for a few moments, and she tells me.

"Yes. He is moving into the trees. Did one of the arrows hit you?" she asks while she reloads her crossbow under my shield spell.

"It destroyed my wand." I responded to her. And this is bad because I can do only four spells." I quickly respond to her before both of us go to a hideout, on a few trees from our right, to cover ourselves if that vampire continues to shoot a spear made out of magic, or from the hiding hunter. "We got to do something against this."

Then, I could fell an arrow, flying close to my cloak, and hitting the ground. Looks like that hunter was close again to hit me. Then, Diana has quickly launched a silver arrow from the direction that arrow was coming, and the next sound I heard was, a falling sound. Something hard falling onto the ground. Then, a screaming was coming, a man screaming for help and in agony.

The vampire we are facing launches another spear, and it hits the trees we are suing as a cover, then he launches another one and proceed to launch a few ones until the trees are about to fall. While he continues to launch these arrows, I look at Diana, and Diana looked back at me. Then, we both shook our heads, and proceed to do an attack move like we did one time in a hunting.

I put Diana under a spell shield and I prepared a fire spell, by using all the mana I had in my body. Both of us goes into different directions. Diana takes the left, and I took the right. She launches one arrow to the vampire, while I launch a fireball spell to that vampire. But the vampire uses another shield spell to protect him, but then, I looked at Diana, then at the enemy, and I have begun to launch my warrior screaming. Yes. I am going to use my battle skill, Berserk.

The arrows hit the spell shield, but it didn't do anything, and my fireball hit the shield, which did a little damage and also made the shield burn. The vampire didn't seem scared, but when he saw that I was coming at him, prepared my dagger to slash him, he felt scared and unexpected at this move I was about to pull to him.

"You are full of surprise!" he said to me while he took out his knife.

"AAAARGH!" I screamed while I was running and approaching him.

"Let's see what you've got!"said the vampire who wear his shield spell off, and this was his biggest mistake, because Diana launches another arrow, but a poisonous one.

That vampire dodged the arrow, and lunges to me. I defended myself, by using my knife against his. And with a quick look, I saw that his knife has some weirs symbols. We both jumped back and run to each other. We tried several times to hit each other, but that bastard, managed to cut my left sleeve. I backed away, tried to touch my area where I was hurting, and I can see my blood dripping from that place.

The vampire tried another attacking move, but I was able to dodged it, which was quite hard since this vampire did a heavy blow, it almost made me fall. I turned to his back, and I was close to stabbing him, but he teleports it behind me, and was about to stab me. I thought I was gone, but thankfully, my battle skill, didn't have his effect wore off, and his effects are... super regenerative power.

That vampire stabbed me, in the leg, but his reaction to the fact that I was able to regenerate my wounds fast, he was really shocked by this fact. He also took a hit in the head, but by not me, by an arrow which was coming from Diana's direction. The arrow hit him right on the right side of the head, and it almost got through the other side. The vampire was backing down a bit, he seemed scared, and he was close to take the arrow down, but I successfully cut his throat with my dagger. He puts his both hands on his tongue, he could fell his blood dripping down from his throat.

Then, the vampire looked at me, he smiled to me, and then he said a thing which will probably be hard to be forgotten.

"How are you feeling, killing me? Good, right?" and he laid on the ground with the blood leaving his body.

Diana goes close to me, she looks at the vampire dead body, then she looks at me, sees the vampire dagger being stabbed in the leg. She took the dagger out, but at the wrong moment, when my Berserk battle skill wear off, and I could still feel pain. I screamed, and then I looked at her, before I faint because this battle skill has a secondary effect which only applies if I have no mana, fainting. Before I was about to fall down, Diana catches me and told me.

"I am sorry! You did an amazing job!"

Then I close my eyes, and let Diana take care of those things there, without my help, but I think she is going to be fine with Fiona... Please be fine!
