Trueborn or Da’at are a type of Source or natural magi. Their magick is done mostly through instinct and they herald great change in the world. The term Da’at comes from hermetic mysticism, a branch of arcane magicking focusing on the high-spirit and arcana and the interaction between both. Hermeticists work to understand the world through the lense of what could be or perfectory state. For every entity there is a perfect slate from which it was formed located in the Source Beyond the Veil.

Da’at is perfection contained within finite creation, the word itself hailing from the south-eastern cyroshi tribes of Ehbrahai. It is a fitting name for trueborn sorcerers for they unify magicking Paths in a seamless manner in which one discipline is difficult to distinguish from the other.

Mysticism in general is a precursor to modern magicking much like shamanism and ancient theurgy. It is not unlike stem cells or even adra as they are undefined units that may become whatever is needed to execute a specific function. They are the primeval liquid from which the magicking Paths sprung up from, crystallizing into their respective niches.

The bastardous sorcerers or partial sorcerers are known as the Ti’fereth. Their etymology also comes from the same source of hermeticism, specifically Kabbalah, a more wizardry-focused school of thought with some use of sorcery. Ti’fereth is an echo of the concept of Da’at in the Path of the Kabbalist. If Da’at is the perfect integration of all Paths into one, Ti’fereth is the imperfect unification of all Paths. Instead of melting together two polar opposite Paths such as Psionistry and the Spirit Arts, Ti’fereth uses them separately and conjoins their effects after the fact. Da’at is the unification from the source, origin, or genesis of a magicking technique. Trueborn sorcerers achieve Da’at as easily as mortal men draw breath, for their Eternal Souls have been fully awoken. And thus they Awake to the Truth of the world.
