《Hollywood King》Chapter 292 | Collaborate!

After the morning discussion with Mr Steven, Ian had several other things on his mind. First of all, he needed to check in with Feazel Gaming to see if they’re done with the testing, and if they could really launch the game on the 20th of next month. The next few things were already dead set on dates, which was something he really liked.
He walked inside the Renner Studio with a pleasant smile. His smile was mainly due to how smoothly things went between him and Steven.
Although he knew things were supposed to be going great for him, he also knew that if things were to go bad, it would only take a second or so.
Nevertheless, he entered the studio with much hope in his head.
“Mr Renner, good morning,” Murphy greeted as Ian was about to get into the elevator. Ian smiled and greeted back.
“Good morning, there’s a lot of things for us to do today, are the other directors on set?”
Murphy shook his head. “No, today is the day off from Real Estates, But, you’ve scheduled a meeting today, already, right?” he asked.
“Ah yes, " I asked out of a whim. My bad. Yes, the meeting will take place at the same time I said it would, no changes. See you upstairs.”
Ian said and walked inside the elevator. His employees greeted him from far away to which he responded gladly.

The phone call between Ian and Feazel Gaming was short but held onto a promise.
“...Are we ready to launch? Any more updates?” Ian asked after the formalities exchanged between them.
The guy from the other end replied with much enthusiasm.
“Yes, Ian. The success rate until the end of the game is 96.3% We believe that we can launch and continue with that. Updates would be necessary, but don’t worry, the team is ready. It would be even better if you could pay a visit, Mr Renner.”
Ian nodded in understanding. “Oh, trust me, I will. Maybe, Murphy, will I be free tomorrow? Just a gate to visit Feazel?”

“12pm to 3pm, your schedule is free.”
“Neat, I’ll be there, thanks.”
He hung up and looked around the empty room which had been ready to bring in all the directors of Renner Studio to talk about his next project. During the discussion, he was planning to explain everything, including the budget, and how he’d want to start pre-production.
And also, with all the directors participating, he thought that he’d choose the directors that he’d want to work with.
He sat in the conference room, flipping through a stack of papers as the directors of the studio filtered in. He stood up to greet them with a nod.
"Good morning, everyone. Thank you for coming. I wanted to talk to you today about my latest project. I think you're really going to like it," Ian said.
The directors looked at each other curiously. "What is it?" one of them asked. And that one was, Raelynn.
Although they lived in the same room and shared the same bed space, she had no idea what Ian was on about. And that was Ian’s privacy, and she respected it. Except at times when she’d be curious and turn pages of his vision board.
Apart from that one incident, she’d promised herself not to go through his things, and to give each other the privacy they deserve.
"It's a movie called 'The Godfather.' It's set in New York in the 1940s and 50s and follows the Corleone family, an Italian-American mafia dynasty," Ian explained.
The directors looked sceptical. "A mafia movie? Is that really going to sell?" another director asked.
Ian held up a hand. "Trust me on this. 'The Godfather' has a classic background and setting. It has drama, action, romance, and everything audiences want. So, I’m pretty positive that if we execute this well, this could be another blockbuster in the industry."
He handed out copies of the script and budget breakdowns to the directors. "Here's the breakdown of the costs. We'll need to build sets to recreate the 1940s and 50s New York, and we'll need a top-notch cast to bring the characters to life. But I think it'll all be worth it in the end."

The directors pored over the papers, their expressions gradually softening as they read.
"This is ambitious, Ian. But I think we can make it work," one of them said.
Ian smiled. "I'm glad to hear it. I've got a lot of ideas for how we can make this movie really special. I'll keep you all updated as we move forward, but for now, let's start with the setting. The Godfather is set in the late 1940s and early 1950s in New York City, and we need to make sure we capture the look and feel of that time period.
“How much do you think that's going to cost?” Raelynn asked.
All the eyes turned to look at Ian, who looked as if he was being asked the most obvious question that everyone had in mind.
But in Ian’s mind, money was no problem. Because for the past two years, he had made millions and had saved millions just to invest in his future movies. And this scenario was a place where he knew he should spend.
“Well, it's going to take a bit of investment, but it's essential to get the right atmosphere. We'll need to rent vintage cars, recreate the architecture and fashion of the time, and pay attention to the details to make sure it's authentic.”
“What about the characters? Who do we need to cast?” Martin asked.
“The lead character, Don Vito Corleone, is a crucial role. He's the head of the Corleone family, a powerful organised crime family. We'll need an actor who can portray strength, cunning, and authority. And for Michael, his son, we need someone who can transform from a reluctant outsider to a ruthless leader. Likewise, every character has their unique characteristics, so casting actors who can properly execute the roles are important.”
“And what about the budget? How much do we need to set aside?” Another director asked, again.
Ian paused a moment before replying. He didn’t want to come out as harsh, where he’d be yelling how he’d have money. So he went the opposite route. Which was rather a thoughtful and polite manner.
“It's going to be a big-budget movie, but with the right planning, we can keep it under control. We'll need to invest in good actors, location, and equipment, but I believe we can make it work.”
“Ah! Alright, Ian. This all sounds great. I mean, you clearly have a clear vision for both the storyline and how to bring it to life. Are you going to do this by yourself?”
Ian shook his head immediately. “No, I’ve a few other projects in mind, and I believe with a little more hands-on experience, The Godfather will be much more amazing when it’s on the screens. So, I’m ready to collaborate with another director, but the choice will be mine. Which is why I want all of you to read the script properly, and let Murphy know if you’re interested in the movie or not.”
The statement Ian made, resulted in the directors looking at each other.
“And how long do you think it's going to take?”
“We can't rush it. It's essential to take the time to get everything right. But if we work together and stay focused, I believe we can make a great movie that audiences will love.”
“Alright, we're in. Let's make this happen. Good luck, everyone!”
“Thanks, that’d be it for today.”
Ian said and stood up from his chair.
The directors nodded and filed out of the room, still murmuring to each other about the potential of the project. Ian sat back in his chair, feeling a surge of excitement. He knew he had his work cut out for him, but he was ready for the challenge.

Gods Game
The Gods gathered together in a moment of clarity and created a world where people could battle, gain powers, and eventually enough power to kill them and take their place. After a millennium, they still have little success. Some of the combatants have died, others have given up and accepted their lives as they are, others turned their back on their original calling entirely, rebelled and have decided to wage war against this world and the reason they are there. So the gods keep scooping people up from the various worlds they've created in hopes of finding their death. They had gathered from six of the seven worlds they had available to them, now they have no choice but to gather combatants from the one world they swore they would leave alone: Earth. The world was dying and the people seemed hell bent on killing each other, rather than focusing on keeping their world alive so they could all live peacefully. Earth wasn't an ideal place to choose from, but the Gods had no choice. With new combatants gathered, each blessed with a gift from the Gods, they are set loose in the world of Taimin. The play ground for the replacement God candidates. However, this time, the combatants are unaware of their true purpose, so that maybe, they can accomplish the God's true goals. Another round of God creation has begun, but with secrets kept from them, and others hunting for their deaths, can they survive the first rounds, or will they perish because of the weaknesses they carry? NOTE: I do not own that cover, I googled fantasy wallpaper planets and I found that one. ^_^ Also, this story will slightly be fanfictiony as some weapons and elements may come videos, shows, and/or books.
