Dear Diary,
Yep, it’s official. We can ask for anything and the Admin will give it to us. At some point in the future, I’m gonna be able to turn into a dire wolf. And Via will fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a dinosaur.
I don’t think it’ll be next cycle, but the Admin didn’t say “no”. Well, he said no to pterodactyl. Which, yeah, they’re probably too big.
So I guess he won’t agree to eeeeeverything, just most things. It’s still funny.
I don’t know if I want to mention this semi-superpower to the others or not. On the one hand, it’d be super fun to see what all we come up with to ask for. On the other hand, if the Admin figures out we’re just asking for random stuff to see if he’ll give it to us, that might make him stop granting any of our requests. Even the things we legit want and need.
Anyways, Mika’s blacksmith competition is ending tomorrow. The contestants have made some pretty cool stuff. It’s obvious who has actual experience making things out of metal, and who just joined cuz it sounded fun. Most of the “sounded fun” people have been eliminated, except for a guy named Tro. He has nooooo clue what he’s doing, but is loving every minute of it. Since it’s super exciting, he’s actually not doing too bad of a job.
The other three people left are Samurai, a guy named Jef, and a girl named Emi. Samuel was disqualified after the ax-making contest, where his ax head flew off the stick it was on and killed one of the judges.
Accidentally killing a judge is not recommended in a contest.
Jef just seems like a guy who at one point in life made himself a full suit of armor. For fun. And Emi… I don’t know. I get the feeling maybe her dad did metalwork, and she learned by osmosis? Not because it was any goal of hers, but more like when she was 10 or so she was surprised to learn that not all kids spend their weekends building metal flower sculptures in the garage with their dad. Or something. Like how kids whose dads are super into cars just know how to assemble an engine by the time they’re 8 and think it’s weird that not everyone knows how.

But I like her. I kinda hope she wins.
We’re going to hold one big marble race day after tomorrow. We have so many things planned, and have to get them all done in like a week. We don’t know exactly when Players will be here, but if we’re in the middle of something when they arrive it’ll be awkward.
The air elementals have promised to tell us when people show up to their floor, so it’s not like we won’t have a little time to prepare, but that’s like… half a day. It’s best if we just cram everything in at once and then get to relax.
Besides, it’s not like anyone has an accounting job or something they have to do. We all have free time to do stuff.
Might as well make the most of it!
Goodnight, Dungeon!

Gamble
My name is Vak Tychus. Aside from the, regrettably striking name, there were very few things I'd judge, that made me - me. The name had to do with chance or fate. My last name was Latin, derived from the Latinized name Eutychus which was the combination of two Greek words corresponding to "good" and "luck, chance, and fortune." Now that you know why I'm so unhealthily and exceedingly prone to gambling I can begin to teach you why exactly I love it so much. There's a handful of things you'd have to know to really appreciate how to gamble. You'd be surprised at how much you can learn in two decades supposing you stuck with it your entire life. Although, there are some stark differences between betting a handful of cash and your life against monstrous creatures intent on your blood. Well, you learn a thing or two, if you can believe it. Here, in fact, we can start with the first one: Taking a risk. Try it now and start reading.

This is a fan fiction of the game Prototype. What if Mercer had a kid like him, but not so crazy? What if said kid got taken to another world by God as a favor to orther Gods? In a world of magic and might, men and monsters, what will he do? I am not an experienced writer, so if you have helpful advice or ideas to share thanks. If you don't like my story thats okay. I'm writing this as a hobby so I will update when I can, but no set schedule. Chapters gonna be short at first, so sorry. But the quality will improve as I get better at typing. Also I don't own the cover art.
