《World Of Swords》245 : Naughty

Just as Xu Yue was about to go into seclusion, her eyes slightly widened as she looked at the tiny figure which had just appeared at the door of the room she was in right now.
Looking at the tiny fox, which was staring at her from outside the room, shaking, Xu Yue couldn't help but fall into slight doubt, causing her to walk towards the fox.
As she lifted the little fox and placed her into her arms, Xu Yue couldn't help but frown slightly.
"Huan'er, did something happen?" asked Xu Yue as she allowed the little fox to sink into her embrace.
Of course, as she could not yet communicate using spiritual sense, Xu Huan could not respond, and merely shook her head as she relaxed in her mother's embrace.
After a few moments of thought, it seemed as though something had clicked in Xu Yue's mind, as her gaze toward Xu Huan became much more complicated in an instant.
In truth, nothing had happened, but that didn't prevent Xu Huan from missing her mother, especially after being away from her for so many years.
Although Xu Yue had sent incarnations to talk with her daughters, who all seemed extremely obedient, it seemed as though Xu Huan, who was much weaker than her sisters and doesn't even have a spiritual sense, could sense the difference between the incarnations and the main body.
As she realised this, Xu Yue couldn't help but slightly shake her head as she moved her fingers through the fur of the little fox.
'I was a bit of a deadbeat mother,' thought Xu Yue as she looked at the fox, which had now fallen asleep in her embrace.
As she thought about this, Xu Yue's spiritual sense suddenly spread out through the sect, searching for the other two foxes.

Suddenly, Xu Yue's eyes narrowed, as some anger appeared on her face.
Looking at Xu Xiaoqing, who was currently causing trouble, pranking a young disciple, as well as at Xu Yanmei, who was actually harassing two young female cultivators, Xu Yue felt extremely exasperated.
Of course, 'harassing' was a rather strong word, as what Xu Yanmei seemed to be doing something more in line with the word 'teasing' and 'playing'.
Even so, looking at her daughter's, which had already gone astray after just a brief seclusion on her part, Xu Yue felt as though she was about to spit out a mouthful of blood.
Without any warning, Xu Xiaoqing, who was just about to prank another disciple, appeared in front of Xu Yue, alongside Xu Yanmei, who was just relaxing in between the breasts of two female disciples.
Seeing this scene, Xu Yanmei's eyes suddenly widened a bit, before some righteous fury appeared on her face.
"Mother, did Xiaoqing bully Huan'er again?" asked Xu Yanmei as she stared at Xu Huan, who was hidden in Xu Yue's embrace.
Without even letting Xu Yue say anything, Xu Yanmei suddenly turned towards Xu Xiaoqing, causing the latter's fur to rise in a straight edge.
"Mother, don't listen to Yanmei, how could I ever bully Huan'er?" asked Xu Xiaoqing, causing Xu Yue's eyes to slightly narrow.
Looking at the two young foxes, which were expertly shifting the conversation before it even began, Xu Yue almost spit out a mouthful of blood.
I didn't even begin blaming you for anything, and you are already moving the conversation?
As she touched the small bit of blood on her mouth, a single thought emerged in Xu Yue's mind.
'If I don't want my daughters to go astray, I need to be ruthless,' thought Xu Yue as she gritted her teeth, when suddenly, a small paw touched her leg.

"Mother, are you alright?" asked Xu Yanmei as she now looked at her mother with a concerned look on her face.
At the same time, Xu Xiaoqing also approached her, with a similarly concerned look on her face.
Seeing this scene, Xu Yue, who had decided to be ruthless, once again spat out a mouthful of blood, causing even Xu Huan to open her eyes, a concerned look also present on her face.
"I'm fine, you little girls don't have to be worried about me," said Xu Yue as she allowed Xu Yanmei and Xu Xiaoqing to also climb into her arms.
Although only a moment after spitting out that mouthful of blood, Xu Yue had seen the sneaky smile on the faces of her three daughters, her anger didn't return in the slightest.
Especially after seeing the concerned look on Xu Huan's face.
'It's okay to be a little sneaky, otherwise, you might suffer in the outside world,' thought Xu Yue, no longer thinking of punishing two of her daughters.
...
Looking at Xu Yue, who was holding her three daughters in her arms, a faint smile appeared on the face of Hulli Jing, who was standing nearby.
'As expected of our daughters, not even Xu Yue can resist their cuteness,' thought Hulli Jing before disappearing, not wanting to disturb the warm scene between the mother and daughters.
...
Although Xu Yue did not have any thoughts of punishing her daughter, as she used the Dao of Fate, which had been absorbed by her 'Boundless Dao', to look at the past, her lips slightly twitched.
Throughout her life, Xu Yue could admit that she had seen many naughty children, as she would occasionally send out her spiritual sense throughout the world, seeing many things.
But if they were to meet Xu Xiaoqing, Xu Yue felt as though they would kneel down and call her ancestor.
Although Xu Xiaoqing was still very weak, it seemed as though nobody could escape from her pranks, no matter their cultivation.
From making fun of Body Refining cultivators to tricking Minor Transcendence Cultivators, Xu Xiaoqing had become extremely proficient in this.
Sadly, the one thing that Xu Xiaoqing could not escape was a beating from her big sister.
...
"Xiaoqing, tricking people is not good," said Xu Yanmei as she confiscated the majority of the treasure which Xu Xiaoqing had stolen.
Although the tone of her voice seemed sad, Xu Xiaoqing could clearly see the smile on Xu Yanmei's face as she took the treasure.
By the fourth year, Xu Xiaoqing had already accepted this as the cost of doing business...

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)

Join his struggles as he tries to find a way home------------------------------------------------------------------------------Authors note: I decided to continue this concept. I'm not really good at writing. I just have some few ideas that I want to bring to life. Also, patience is not my virtue so I tend to overpower my characters too quickly.
