Chapter 888: 888
Chapter 888
“My first Quest is to breakthrough to the 9th Layer Earth Monarch?” Yi Tianyun said as he was surprised by the difficulty of the quest! He was now at the 8th Layer Divine King stage, and he should reach Earth Monarch level pretty soon. But still, this was his Main Quest, meaning that he had to complete this quest before he could destroy the Evil Spirit Race’s homeland.
Obviously, he would eventually get the quest to destroy the Evil Spirit Race homeland later. He already knew that his cultivation level was too low, and because of that, the system also made sure that he could build up more strength before he fought the Evil Spirit Race.
Meanwhile, the cultivators around Yi Tianyun were also shocked as they were surprised by the word Gu Yanlong had just said! They were kings or someone revered in their territory, but it seemed that they wouldn’t get the same respect here! But of course, they believed that they’d stand on top of everyone once they obtained resources to cultivate from the God Domain.
Gu Yanlong has already seen through everyone’s thoughts, which was the reason behind his cold attitude to everyone! “I know that you aren’t convinced by my word, but there is no telling how many geniuses have come here from so many realms before, but there is only a few that could hold out to our rules!” Gu Yanlong said coldly.
“Your cultivation before coming here may be amazing, but I assure you that it was nothing special here in God’s Domain! It doesn’t mean anything here, so let me just say in advance that your path to breakthrough here will be life-threatening!” Gu Yanlong said confidently.
“Nevertheless, it was your own choice! You can either join us or turn around and return to your own realm! If you join us, you have to understand that you have to obey every command without question! There are a lot of people with cultivation than me, and those people won’t hesitate to punish you harshly if you disobey the orders given to you!” Gu Yanlong added without any hesitation.

“Now, are you willing to join Heavenly Edict Divine Territory and swear to never betray Heavenly Edict Divine Territory?” Gu Yanlong asked confidently.
“But what if we want to join other God’s Domain?” One of them asked Gu Yanlong. It was an expected question as there was more than one God’s Domain in this universe. But the most important thing that God’s Domain had was their unequaled resources! Their resources was way better than any Mortal Domain out there!
Even so, God’s Domain had its own grade as well. For comparison purposes in the future, Heavenly Edict Divine Territory was actually a 1st Grade God’s Domain, which meant that it was the lowest grade out of all God’s Domain. God’s Domain had 5 grades to them, and a grade above Heavenly Edict Divine Territory would be a 2nd Grade God’s Domain.
“Obviously, there would be a precaution. If you join another God’s Domain with the same grade, you have to leave tributes of the same value with the resources that we have already given to you. But if you join a higher grade God’s Domain, you don’t have to do so, but you have to return the favour someday!” Gu Yanlong answered without hesitation.
“I know what you are thinking, but I suggest you at least cultivate until 5th Layer Earth Monarch before thinking of finding a higher grade God’s Domain. They wouldn’t look at you otherwise!” Gu Yanlong said coldly. Everyone immediately looked at each other as they didn’t expect that God’s Domain would have such rules.
“I will be helping you pick up a cultivation that would be easier for your talent to grow.” Gu Yanlong said without any expression on his face, but his words were somewhat warm-hearted!
“I am willing to join and swear my loyalty to Heavenly Edict Divine Territory!” one cultivator said quite loudly.

“Me too!” Another one joined in. Many of the cultivators here today choose to join Heavenly Edict Divine Territory. They didn’t mind Heavenly Edict Divine Territory rules, as the rules in the Mortal Domain were not that much different anyway.
Yi Tianyun was also willing to join Heavenly Edict Divine Territory as he believed that other God’s Domain would also have similar rules.
“I forgot to tell you, but you have to reach a certain level before you are able to join our Heavenly Edict Divine Territory. If your level of cultivation doesn’t meet the requirements, you will become an outer disciple. You would be demanded to reach the required level first before you qualify to become our member! With that said, let me see your cultivation level!” Gu Yanlong said confidently.
They all nodded their head. This is an expected requirement as a weak cultivator was nothing but a deadweight. Gu Yanlong immediately walked towards the nearest cultivator and took them to the front as they would be undergoing an assessment.
As everyone walked up to form another queue, Lei Zhengyu was pushed back rudely.
“Human Race brat, stand back!” A Tree Race cultivator was the one pushing Lei Zhengyu back!
“Yes, a lower life form like you should stand at the back!” another Tree Race cultivator said as they cut the line.
“How dare you!” Lei Zhengyu said in anger as his fist started to release a little bit of lightning.
“What? Do you want to pick a fight?” The Tree Race cultivator said coldly. Yi Tianyun immediately reached out to Lei Zhengyu and stopped Lei Zhengyu before he could do anything stupid.
“Calm down!” Yi Tianyun said with a smile on his face.
“Oh, we have a wise Human over here. Now, find your own place, understand?” The Tree Race cultivator said coldly.
“Their place would be a slave market! The human race is nothing but goods anyway!” Another race chimed in.
“Little brother Yi, we can’t let them look down on us like this.” Lei Zhengyu said as he held his anger.
“You misunderstood me, brother! I didn’t mean for you to lower yourself in front of a trash! What I meant is that you should throw out the trash that tries to cut your line!” Yi Tianyun said as he pulled the Tree Race cultivator in front of him and kicked him towards the nearby wall, slamming him to the wall quite hard. The branches on the Tree Race cultivator that Yi Tianyun kicked were snapped horribly.
“Sometimes you don’t have to talk to people like this. After all, it’s a waste of time talking to a trash anyway!” Yi Tianyun said as he smiled at Lei Zhengyu, that was still at a loss for words.
Yi Tianyun couldn’t stand these people anymore! If they looked down upon the Human Race, they should be ready for retribution!

Berries, Boars, and a Boy (A How to Train Your Dragon Fanfiction) (Snotlout/OC)
"In a lot of ways, Snotlout is very much Spitelout's son," said Freda. Torben did not need to see her face to hear in her voice that she wanted to say more. Torben turned his face toward the sun, the heat of it warming his skin though his world remained dark. "Even without my sight I could see that. Why else do you think I would encourage and allow his frequent visits here." --- He was brash, cocky, and way too self-confident for it to be real but he had gotten her out of the tree. She was older than him, taller than him, and had an annoying habit of seeing through his bluffs but she had stitched him up. What happens when Sigyn and Snotlout strike up an unusual friendship? And what happens when Snotlout goes away to The Edge with the other Dragon Riders and she stays behind? Will their friendship remain intact, fade away, or possibly change into something neither was expecting? Just see if I don't make a Snotlout fan of you by the end.
