"I hate you …" Jennifer, 18 years old, muttered while spinning a holographic cubic mirror.
"What's wrong, honey?" asked her mother, who overheard her while passing by her bedroom.
"That girl looking back at me is not me."
"You've been feeling this way for a long time, haven't you, Jen?"
"Yes." Jennifer wiped tears from her eyes. "You know I'm not like the others, but I've tried really hard to fit in, but I just can't…"
"I know." Her mom closely hugged her. "Let's speak with the doctor tomorrow."

"So, Jennifer, after a series of scans, I can confirm you're experiencing gender dysphoria."
"What are her options, Doctor?" asked her mother.
The doctor spoke directly to Jennifer, "You can do nothing and enjoy a good life since there isn't societal prejudice anymore, or we can clone your body to a different gender and transfer your consciousness, or you can take a nanite-neural-adaption pill."
"What's that do?" asked Jennifer.
"It'll alter your brain to accept your body. There's no pressure either way. The choice is entirely yours."

The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon’s voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn’t remember…yet.
