《Wolf Bloodline》A Dynamic Duo (Babu)

When we arrived at the battlefield, the battle had already begun. Ryuu had landed his dragon, giving us time to dismount and join the fight. Ryuu's uncle and a few others of the dragon bloodline were ready to join us.
Before Ryuu left us, Rose looked into his eyes and said from the bottom of her heart, "Be careful."
Ryuu took his dragon back up into the clouds, heading towards his target - the beast of the fourth epic. We joined the battle with the others to support our side. I had never seen a battle like this before. It was diverse, with knights, samurai, winged warriors, and many other bloodlines. It was almost like an entire kingdom was present.
We were able to easily fend off enemies for a short time, but trouble found us earlier than expected. General Orc, whom we had seen before, appeared in battle once again.
General Orc seemed pleased to see us and said, "Look, aren't these the two who destroyed my castle and home?" He was referring to me and Rose beside me. Apparently, General Orc had chosen us to fight. He didn't seem nervous at all that we stood two against one.
As we slowly reached for our weapons, General Orc drew the double-bladed long sword on his back and said, "It's time to pay for what you've done."
As I threw my club forward, Rose swung her sword at General Orc. In response to our incoming attacks, he managed to block our blows by extending his double-sided sword toward us. Pushing his sword forward, he deflected us and swung his sword again to attack.
Although the sword was aimed at me first, I threw my club forward to buy time for Rose to attack. When Rose rushed forward, General Orc pulled back, dodging her attack. But Rose didn't let him escape easily and swung her sword once more towards his back. When the orc managed to escape once more, I knew I had to act.
I swung my club at General Orc again, but he returned the blow with his weapon and blocked me. Rose used the vines on her sword to try to slow down the General Orc. She supported me and went on the attack. General Orc resisted our attacks very well. After a while, he even began to respond well to the vine attacks.
Despite not being very logical as an orc, General Orc was quite skilled in battle. He quickly analyzed my attacks and responded accordingly. Although we were making strong attacks, we didn't get too close because we didn't know our enemy. Otherwise, he could turn the situation in his favor with a surprise attack.

All we could do for the moment was observe and see what he could do. He was an elite soldier and it showed in his fighting skills.
Our war continued like this for a little while longer. But after a while, I took my sword in hand and continued to attack with my sword in one hand and my club in the other. General Orc's resistance was quite high compared to the people I had fought before.
Rose was also aware of the kind of opponent we were facing. We tried to attack together as much as possible, but somehow he managed to evade our attacks, albeit narrowly.
He turned and swung his double-bladed long sword at us. We were close to him and threw ourselves back to dodge the incoming attack. We tried to attack again.
When I swung my club and sword at him, he stopped me with his sword just as I had hoped. But he was caught off guard by Rose standing behind me. With my hands full, I could only throw an elbow at him. The impact of the blow made him punch me. He got up and cut the vines on his foot with a single maneuver.
Rose made a strong attack to prevent him from attacking again. She swung her sword at him before he had a chance. General Orc dodged the incoming sword attack by throwing his own sword to one side. But he pressed his power against Rose's sword, causing her to lose her grip and throw it out of her hand.
General Orc took advantage of Rose's opening and threw a hard shoulder, knocking her to the ground.
As General Orc was about to thrust his sword at the downed Rose, I rushed forward as fast as I could to get him to refocus on me. Rose got up and headed towards her sword to pick it up again.
When I threw my sword forward, he blocked it. I drove my club up and down, hitting him hard in the jaw with it.
General Orc quickly recovered himself. He grabbed my club at his feet and pulled me towards him. He was about to pass the sword in his hand to my neck. I put my sword in front of me and tried to avoid the incoming sword blow.
The enemy was pushing his sword so hard that the sword in my hand was stretched toward my neck. If he pushed a little more, my own sword would cut my neck. But fortunately, at the last moment, Rose made a powerful vine attack and saved me from my situation.

She pulled the vines out from behind General Orc and wrapped them around his throat, pulling him back and away from me. With the vines distracting him, I once again charged toward the enemy. As I swung my sword, he swung back with his own and kicked me away hard.
Then he swiftly spun around and with a single sword thrust, he freed himself from the vines around his neck. He was able to strike back at Rose, blocking her attacks and gaining the upper hand on her as an enemy.
I recovered my composure and continued to attack with Rose, but the fight was not going well.
The enemy's aggression was increasing, and he seemed to have an endless supply of energy. Despite being two of us, our energy was quickly depleting. This was due to the fact that the lungs of the orcs were more developed than those of normal humans, especially pandas.
The general orc wielded his sword, blocking Rose's attack and responding to my stick with his bare hand. I attempted to stab him in the exposed abdomen with my sword, but he grabbed my stick and used it to throw me off balance, delivering a punch to my stomach in the process. I staggered back from the impact and was knocked down momentarily when he threw a knee into my stomach. He then turned his focus to Rose, who was still attacking him.
The enemy, driven by anger, shouted and swung his sword at Rose relentlessly. Despite her best efforts, she was eventually kicked hard and dropped her sword. I don't think Rose would have been able to get up right away after being hit so hard. The enemy knew this and turned his head towards me, who was trying to get up, but I was on my knees, holding my stick and sword, trying to stop his incoming attacks.
As the enemy continued to press me with his sword, I fought back with all my might.
The general orc was trying to finish me off by pressing my weapons with his sword.
"This is the end, Panda."
At this rate, I couldn't hold on much longer. But I had no intention of giving up yet, especially when everyone in my lineage trusted me. I could feel my short legs trembling, my arms getting tired, sweat pouring from my head, my eyes burning, and my hands slipping.
Despite this, my end was not inevitable. Everyone here knew that I was more than just an ordinary panda. I had fought many battles and would not lose to this orc today. I was the eponymous Babu himself.
I was so focused that I could feel every drop of blood flowing through my veins. Not only did it give me enough power, but I could also feel a different power within me. So much so that when I swung my sword and club, the power of my lineage - air control - enabled me to counter the enemy.
Even though I didn't know much about power, it was penetrating into me and was not difficult to get used to. When the general orc tried to reach me, I completely distracted him by preventing him from reaching me with my air power.
At that time, Rose caught the orc's vulnerability and managed to land a hard kick on its head. Before the general orc realized what was happening, I used my air power to throw him upwards. Rose caught him with her vines and hit him left and right.
While I attacked with my stick and sword, Rose attacked with her sword and vines. We constantly attacked the orc. Whenever it tried to attack, I prevented it with my air power and fought alongside Rose.
Finally, we were about to make a powerful attack on the orc when it dropped its sword. Rose used her vines to wrap around its arms, preventing it from moving or attacking. I gripped my stick tightly and pulled it back as far as I could with my air power before hitting the orc's head as hard as possible.
The orc was knocked down. Not only did We win the battle, but I also had a new power.

Soul Core Online
Soul Core Online was a game that few people were interested in until after it was released, due to its odd way of handling character growth but this soon changed as people started to realise just how different this game was. Unlike many of its predecessors the NPCs in Soul Core Online acted in a way that was indistinguishable from real people and the world felt alive because of this instead of the empty and sterile cities we had come to expect, even walking down the street could give you insights to how these people lived. In my case this was the world that I had always wanted to visit and I soon found myself embroiled in the constantly changing world that is Soul Core Online.
