《Wolf Bloodline》Ichihara's Grandson

With the approval of the chiefs, I was entitled to drink the potion. My grandfather approached me, holding a small vial in his hand. It must have contained the rarest crom potion. Under normal circumstances, I would have been hesitant to consume a potion that I knew nothing about. But this was different. My grandfather had brought it to me and I trusted him completely.
If I wanted to help my friends and become stronger, I had no choice but to drink it. Time was running out and as my grandfather had said, we couldn't afford to waste any.
When my grandfather reached me, he handed me the vial. "Drink this," he said firmly. "Our work will begin once you do."
At first, I didn't feel anything after drinking the potion. But then a cold chill ran down my spine and suddenly, I could feel every vein and nerve in my body. It was as if an unknown energy was coursing through me, increasing my strength and power.
The sensation faded as quickly as it had come and I was back to normal again. But I knew that the potion had taken effect. I felt restless and eager to begin our work.
Without wasting any time, we set off, following my grandfather. Our goal now was to unlock my powers and unleash their full potential.
As we walked, my grandfather spoke to me about our abilities. Even though I was already familiar with them, he explained what we were going to do and how we were going to do it.
"That was quite a speech you gave back there," he said proudly. "Drinking the potion will help, but you'll need to be as strong as possible. Otherwise, it will be useless."
"I'll do my best," I promised.
"I don't know what kind of training you've had before," he continued. "But I'm going to start from scratch and teach you how to activate all of your powers."

Puzzled, I asked him, "Do I have to learn how to use all four powers in just two weeks?"
"In the old days, when this potion was more powerful, our people could do it in just a week," he replied. "But times have changed, and besides, you cannot gain your mystical power in such a short time.
"What do you mean?" I asked curiously.
My grandfather seemed to have been waiting for me to ask that question. He looked eager to talk and I knew that I was about to receive a long and detailed answer.
"Let me explain," he began. "As you know, wizards and witches have four main powers: structural control, mind reading and control, earth control, and the ability to see the flow of time."
I interrupted him to add, "I already know about the power to see the flow of time."
"Yes," he nodded. "And as a mystic, that power won't harm you. But being a mystic wizard is a huge responsibility and only a select few are qualified for it. The further into the future you go, the further you get from your past. That's why many people are afraid of becoming mystics."
"What about Furon?" I asked. "Is he a mystic wizard too?"
"Furon has different powers thanks to black magic," my grandfather replied. "But he can't be a mystic. Don't let black magic scare you, my girl. It can be easily defeated in a one-on-one battle when faced with pure magic power."
"Which power should we work on first?" I asked.
"We'll start with structural control," he said, stopping in the middle of the village.
I looked around, confused. "Grandpa, what exactly am I supposed to do here?"
"We're going to measure the extent of your strength," he explained. "I want you to use your structural control to build a shield around the entire village."

"The whole village?" I repeated in disbelief.
"Yes," he nodded firmly. "A shield around the entire village."
With the power of structural control, a mage can use their magic to mold and shape their surroundings in any way they choose. This power is often used to create projectile shields, but it has many other useful applications as well.
I already knew how to use this power, but my grandfather wanted to see just how strong my magic was. The nice thing about structural control is that the longer the range and the larger the area you affect, the more powerful your magic appears. So my goal here was to demonstrate my strength.
"Begin when you're ready," my grandfather said encouragingly.
At that moment, I felt a new wave of anxiety wash over me. But this time it wasn't because of the situation I was in. For some reason, I felt uneasy and hesitant, as if all eyes were on me.
Ignoring the feeling and not wanting to keep my grandfather waiting any longer, I clasped my hands together and took a deep breath. Then I quickly opened my hands outwards, releasing my magic.
But the spell dissipated before it could envelop the entire village. I took another deep breath and tried again, but even though my magic was stronger this time, it still wasn't enough.
"Don't hold back," my grandfather urged. "I can feel that you're holding back your strength. Let it flow freely."
I tried once more but failed again. Frustrated and discouraged, I turned to my grandfather and admitted defeat. "I can't do it," I said dejectedly. "It's too hard."
The pressure was mounting and I could feel the eyes of the villagers on me, growing larger and more intense. Being my grandfather's grandson was difficult at times like this. I knew that people expected great things from me and I didn't want to let them down.
"You may not have enough power now," my grandfather said determinedly. "But we'll keep trying until you succeed."
We repeated the exercise over and over again, but it seemed like my energy was slowly fading away. Finally, my grandfather played his last card.
"Your mother had high expectations for you," he said sternly. "Your friends are counting on you. Are you going to let them all down?"
"No," I replied firmly.
"Then what are you waiting for?" he challenged. "Use your power. Show everyone that you're a true wizard and that you're my grandson."
With one final burst of determination, I gathered all of my strength and focus. I opened my hands once more and this time, I didn't hold back. I released all of the magic inside me, determined to show everyone whose grandson I was.
The village, which had been silent before, was now shaken by the force of my magic. I had never felt so powerful before. The air around me swirled like a tornado as my magic spread outwards, beyond my control.
When I finally closed my hands, branches, plants, and other debris were scattered around me from the force of the wind. Everyone was staring at me in shock and awe.
I turned to my grandfather uncertainly. "Did I do it?" I asked.
He looked at me in amazement. "I've never seen anything like it," he said in awe. "You didn't just cover the whole village - you covered the entire forest."
My grandfather beamed with pride and turned to address the stunned villagers. "That's my grandson," he announced proudly. "No wonder she's so powerful."
I stood there, staring at my hands in disbelief. Had that incredible display of power really come from me? I couldn't understand how I did it, but it was a very different feeling.
