《Pokémon : An Unexpected Journey》The Amano family

[ POV Change ]

In the land of Kanto and Johto, there was a wealthy and influential family known as the Amano clan. They had made their fortune through their patented use of Nitrogen as a fertilizer, and their power over the economy was so great that it was said that they could crash the markets with a single blow.

At the center of this powerful family was the youngest daughter, Erika. Unlike her siblings, Erika had aspirations that were at odds with the expectations of her family. She yearned to be a Pokémon trainer, and the Amano clan, with their vast wealth, spared no expense in supporting her dream. They hired the best instructors, and provided her Pokemon with the finest Pokémon food and the healthiest and strongest baby Pokémon, hoping that she would bring glory to the family name by becoming a Champion.

However, Erika's journey as a trainer was far from easy. Despite her advantages, she was unable to make it past the first round of the Pokémon League as she only got to said point either by trainers and gym leaders handing her the win out of fear from the Amano family or due to the overwhelming strength of her pokemon but her skills as a trainer were average at best.

Her family was disappointed, but Erika's spirit was not broken. She disappeared from the Pokémon scene for a year, until she was suddenly appointed as the gym leader of Celadon City. It was clear that the Amano clan had bought her way to this position, and though no one dared to openly criticize her, the resentment and anger towards Erika were palpable. She was an outsider in a world that valued hard work and determination, and her privileged background made it difficult for her to win the respect and trust of those around her.

Erika was deeply affected by the isolation and resentment, and her mental state began to deteriorate. The Pokémon League, fearing the power of the Amano clan, chose to hide her under the guise that she was nominated for the Elite Four. When she returned, Erika was a changed person. She was now the epitome of grace and strength, a skilled trainer, instructor, and gym leader. People were in awe of her transformation, but some wondered what had happened to bring about such a drastic change.

As time went by, an underlying dread began to seep into the minds of many who wondered. What had the Amano clan done to make their daughter into the person she had become? What was the League's involvement in all of this? Was it their money and influence, or was there something darker and more sinister at play? The answers to these questions remained elusive, shrouded in mystery, and hidden behind the power and wealth of the Amano clan and the Pokemon. But the dread lingered, always present, like a shadow that refused to disappear.

.....

A guard stood outside the massive iron gates, his hand resting on the holster of his gun. He hummed along to the radio program, relishing in the rare moment of peace and quiet. The air was still, and only the occasional rustle of leaves broke the silence.

Suddenly, the lights went out. The guard stiffened, his hand instinctively reaching for the flashlight on his belt. He flicked it on, shining it into the darkness.

Two young girls emerged from the woods, their faces pale with fear. The guard pointed his gun at them and barked, "You two! Leave this area now! This is restricted property."

" Please! Help us." Yellow pleaded out but before the guard could do anything further, a blue blur kicked the gun out of his hand. He gasped, his hand grasping at the empty air. When he looked up, he saw a fist rushing toward his face. He barely had time to brace himself before he was knocked out cold.

Lucario stood over the unconscious guard, his sharp eyes scanning the area for any other threats. He looked back at Yellow and Green, nodding in approval.

High above in the vast expanse of the sky Pikachu, found himself nestled securely in the gentle embrace of Clefable. With his bright red cheeks crackling and pulsating with potent electricity, Pikachu had only moments ago unleashed a powerful and widespread Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) wave.

This impressive display of his electrical prowess had effectively managed to disable all electronic devices and systems within a specific radius, casting a sudden darkness over the area as screens went blank and machines ground to a halt. The energy that emanated from Pikachu's EMP wave was palpable, leaving behind an eerie silence broken only by the occasional distant crackle of residual energy dissipating into the atmosphere.

Green approached the guard, examining his face and hands. She frowned, muttering something under her breath. Suddenly, a purple goo enveloped her as she shapeshifted into the guard. Lucario raised an eyebrow, his voice tinged with concern. "Is this necessary?"

Green looked up at him, a steely determination in her eyes. "Yes," she said. "We need to get inside."

She took the gun and walked towards the guard's booth, her steps confident and steady. She opened the gates to the Celadon City landfill, the sound of creaking metal echoing through the still night air.

The landfill was a sprawling mass of trash, the towering piles of garbage illuminated by the moonlight. The smell was overwhelming, a mixture of rot and decay. But Green didn't flinch, she strode forward, her senses on high alert.

" Come on, we need to save Ash," Yellow exclaimed as she rushed in before Lucario stopped her.

" Don't worry, we have exactly 5 minutes before the cameras of this place turn on again," Green exclaimed as she looked at Lucario and Yellow.

" We need to hurry up."

Lucario followed her, his aura senses at the ready. Yellow and Pikachu joined them, the group moving silently through the landfill.

....

The duo of Pokemon trainers and their Pokemon stood in Celadon City landfill, taking in the sight of a police van parked nearby. The van's presence only added to the unease that had been building within them as they approached the trailer home at the center of the landfill.

Lucario led the way, his muscular frame tense and ready for anything. He carried no weapons, relying solely on the power of his aura to protect himself and the others. Behind him were Pikachu and Ivysaur, its vines twitching in anticipation.

As they sneaked towards the trailer home, Ninjask and Wartortle dropped silently onto the roof, their quick movements allowing them to take up positions as lookouts. Scizor waited outside, its powerful claws ready to defend the group at a moment's notice. Meanwhile, Pidgeot and Fearow circled overhead, keeping watch from above.

Green and Yellow followed closely behind Lucario and Ivysaur, both girls armed and ready. Green held a gun, her hand steady despite the danger they were about to face. Yellow's hand was empty, but the glow of her psychic powers radiated from her eyes, signaling that she was prepared to use them at a moment's notice.

With a swift and powerful kick, Lucario thrust open the door to the seemingly nondescript trailer home. In hot pursuit, Ivysaur, the grass and poison-type Pokémon, quickly followed suit, releasing a thick, paralyzing cloud of stun spore into the room. Green and Yellow rushed in immediately after, their adrenaline pumping. Green held her gun at the ready, prepared for any sudden threats, while Yellow stood poised to use her formidable psychic powers if the situation called for it.

Upon entering the dimly lit space, the team found Domino bound and incapacitated by twisted steel rebars that had been skillfully wrapped around her arms and legs. Her unconscious form lay slumped against the wall, her breathing shallow and labored. The sight of her in such a vulnerable state was disconcerting, to say the least.

On the other side of the room, they noticed Austin sitting casually at a small, cluttered table, his attention seemingly absorbed by a few scattered papers in front of him. Beside him, the drowsy psychic-type Pokémon, Musharna, munched away on a steaming bowl of noodles, seemingly oblivious to the tense and potentially dangerous atmosphere that had suddenly enveloped the trailer home.

"Hey, guys," Austin greeted nonchalantly, finally looking up and acknowledging the group's entrance into the room.

Lucario stepped forward, his powerful aura flaring brilliantly as he took in the unsettling scene before him. "What's going on here?" he demanded, his deep, resonant voice echoing throughout the cramped confines of the trailer home.

"Want some noodles?" Austin asked, seemingly unfazed by the intensity of the situation.

"Pika," Pikachu chimed in, never one to pass up a potential meal.

"Sorry, Pikachu, there is no ketchup," Austin replied with a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Pi," Pikachu sighed, his ears drooping slightly in disappointment.
