《The Magic Kings War》The Reveal

Worshipper Arc. Chapter 31: The Reveal.
Valoran and Demonlise stand opposite from each other. Demonlise shivers in shock and slight fright over Valoran’s sudden attack on him.
“Valoran, why are you attacking me!?” He questions in confusion.
Valoran does not respond, however he prepares the same attack, Valoran creates another crimson circle on the palm of his hand.
“Come on Demonlise, show me what you got.” Valoran urges him.
Demonlise creates a blue magic circle on the palm of his hand.
Valoran shoots a crimson beam of energy toward Demonlise.
Demonlise counters by shooting a blue beam of energy of his own toward Valoran.
Both beams meet at the middle creating a huge explosion as well as ginormous sphere of fire, bright and hot as a star.
The sphere engulfs Valoran and Demonlise for a few moments before fading away.
“Not bad.” Valoran compliments.
Valoran now holding a sword in his hand charges at Demonlise.
Demonlise casts taslan (creation magic) and with haste creates a sword of his own.
The swords clash creating a shockwave powerful enough to turn brick buildings to dust.
Valoran and Demonlise exchange blow after blow both of them strike quickly and block just as hard.
As for the speed, both can’t be seen by the naked eye, not even the speed of light can keep up at how fast Valoran and Demonlise are fighting each other with the sword.
Between the two of them thousands upon thousands of sword strikes are being blocked and dealt to each other in a single nano second.
Each strike creates shockwaves which cause strong winds that would blow away an entire city, hence for the sake of any civilian Valoran and Demonlise are fighting each other in the middle of nowhere thousands of miles from any civilisation.
Both of them show perfect swordsmanship.
Valoran sees a slight opening and kicks Valoran in the stomach.
“AH!” Demonlise falls on his knee.
Valoran stands and looks down at Demonlise.
“I’m impressed your swordsmanship and reflexes have improved significantly.” Valoran compliments.
“I..I am still no match for you.” Demonlise expresses with slight pain.
“No…not yet at least.” Valoran responds.
Demonlise gets back up on his feet as if nothing had happened.
Demonlise casts Bla Zios (second highest lighting magic). Demonlise creates 12 huge spheres of crimson lighting launching them straight toward Valoran at high speeds.
Valoran smirks.
Valoran opens up one portal directly in front of him and two in front of Demonlise.
The 12 lighting spheres enter Valoran’s portal.
6 lighting spheres from each portal in front of Demonlise head directly for him.

“Hmm” Demonlise activates nirvana’s eye and at an instant all the lighting spheres become nothing.
Valoran is genuinely surprised at what he just saw. It’s actually the first time in his entire life that Valoran was surprised at something this unexpected.
“Demonlise…you have the ability to use nirvana through your eyes?” He asks in shock.
“Well…you did tell me about it, I figured that I should practise it for myself from time to time.” Demonlise responds.
“You have truly surprised me.” Valoran says.
“It’s not easy controlling the eyes especially when I haven’t taught you…Well done truly Demonlise you are making me proud.” Valoran compliments.
Demonlise is thrilled hearing these words from Valoran, the only person he looks up to.
“I thank you, my master. Hearing that from you is something that I needed to hear.” Demonlise says.
“Demonlise the reason why I brought you here is because I felt that something was up with you. You looked like something troubled you. I thought engaging with you in a battle would lead you to share your troubles.” Valoran reveals.
Demonlise takes a deep breath in…and out.
He looks up at the stars.
“When you told me that I wasn’t strong enough against those angels, I thought to myself that I was too weak to serve you. Too weak to serve the one who would one day become the Magic King too weak to protect the ones I love and care about. I felt ashamed in all honesty.” Demonlise shares.
Valoran also faces the beautiful stars in the night sky.
He puts his hand on Demonlise’ shoulder.
“Demonlise, you have become strong and wise, you have improved your swordsmanship significantly keep up that rate and you will even beat me one day, and you also used Nirvana’s eye which shows your magic control has improved also. You are not weak at all my friend, the fact that I can count on you standing beside me against Daimos’s forces is a great help. You have merely scratched the surface of your abilities and already you are this powerful, like I told you before you will outmatch High Gods one day.” Valoran explains.
Demonlise kneels in front of Valoran.
“Whatever happens I will stand beside you and help to destroy all your enemies.” He vows.
“Rise my friend. Training is not over.” Valoran responds.
Demonlise gets up and they both engage in further intense training.
The next Morning.
Valoran and Artemsia meet up with the others in the class hall as usual.
“Good Morning.” Valoran greets.

“A good morning to you all.” Artemsia greets.
“Morning.” Biatrix replies.
“Hello and good morning Atticus replies.”
“Morning you two.” Selina greets back.
“Hope you rested well last night.” Merial greets.
“Morning Valoran and Artemsia.” Demonlise also greets.
Valoran and Artesia take their seats.
“How are you all?” Valoran questions.
“We are exhausted from your intense training from yesterday.” Biatrix responses.
“That’s perhaps a good thing.” Valoran counters with a smirk.
“You nearly killed us Valoran.” Merial says with a hint of sarcasm.
“I feel better than ever.” Atticus expresses with enthusiasm.
“I wish I had your energy as well as your enthusiasm.” Selina replies with sarcasm of her own.
“I’m also doing well today.” Demonlise informs.
“Glad to hear that all of you are doing so well.” Artemsia says with a smile.
A few moments later the bell rings and Professor Asparata enters the class hall.
She walks to her front desk and addresses the class.
“Good Morning students.” She greets with enthusiasm.
“Before I start the class…Valoran.” She calls out and looks toward him.
“Please head to the Headmaster's office immediately. “ She kindly instructs.
“Sure.” Valoran responds.
Valoran rises from his seat and leaves the class hall.
He arrives in front of the Headmasters door.
Knock Knock Valoran knocks on the door.
“Please enter.” Headmaster Aegnor Aldon calls out from behind the door.
Valoran opens the door to the Headmaster's office.
“Ahh Valoran. Thank you for coming.” Headmaster Aegnor says kindly.
“Thank you for the warm welcome. Why am I here?” Valoran gets straight to the point.
“Valoran, you see we as in the academy have been thinking about you.” Aegnor reveals.
Valoran does not respond and just listens.
“You have shown abilities and knowledge far beyond that of any student and professor in the history of this academy. This is why you will be brought to the castle black burg and be seated on the magic king's throne to see if you are the one to finally become the next King of Magic.” The headmaster informs.
“Is that so?” Valoran questions with suspicion.
“Or put it differently, you will graduate early.” The headmaster says with a smile.
“Drop the act.” Valoran expresses with anger.
The headmaster’s smile immediately turns into confusion.
“Act? What act?” The headmaster asks in uncertainty.
“I know you are the one behind the academy attack…behind all the threats toward me, my mother and my friends. I know you are the one who purposely sent me into the cave during the adventurer exams for me to meet Ava. I have been dancing in the palm of your hands all this time…Lead Worshipper.” Valoran reveals.
The headmaster's expression becomes sinister as he begins to smile in a scary fashion.
“Haha” He horrifically chuckles.
He rises from his seat.
“You figured it out. I am indeed the one to lead the Worshippers.” Headmaster Aegnor reveals.
“But how did you do it?” He questions.
“When I interrogated your servant she told me that someone with powerful influence had been in control of my actions. So I thought who could do that? Who could manipulate the school system’s to make sure that I would for example head to the cave where Ava was imprisoned? Of course you were one of my suspects.” Valoran explains.
Valoran goes further with his explanations.
“Of course to make sure that you couldn’t extract that conversation from your follower when I returned her, I not only erased her memories of that specific conversation but…isolated the brain’s area containing that specific memory and destroyed it with my eyes. That way even if you could reverse my memory erasing magic there was no way you could restore the brain’s area that had those memories in the first place” Valoran explains.
“Very clever.” Headmaster Aegnor compliments.
“Next to further narrow down my list of suspects I questioned Demonlise who instead of me saved the academy from the recent attack. He told me who was present, all the Professor’s and Students were present and being held as hostages except for you, which didn’t make sense given you should be the number one individual defending this academy as you're the headmaster unless…you were leading the attack to begin with.”
“This is why you sent me away to the Halivaara second academy to see if I were to show up and stop the attack.” Valoran explains further.
“And finally now this…wanting me to graduate early so I have the chance of becoming the next King of Magic, this was ordered by Daimos I imagine.” Valoran ends his explanation.
“Hahaha” Headmaster Aegnor chuckles.
“Everything you said was 100% right. King Daimos our lord has ordered me to see to it that you will be seated on the thorne.” Headmaster Aegnor shares.
“You know what Headmaster.” Valoran states.
“What is it?” He responds with a smirk and amusement.
“I accept the offer.” Valoran responds.
