Chapter 239
I decided to tell them of the general plan. It would probably be best to do it through telepathy.
‘Leave the High Lord to us. Shia and Serulis, I want you two to protect the humans.’
‘Understood.’
Shia replied through telepathy and Serulis nodded.
‘Grulf…let’s see. I’ll give you an order based on the situation. However, you will stick with Serulis.’
“Groof.”
Grulf did not seem very happy about that. He probably wanted to fight with me.
‘Grulf. Don’t be like that. While we are going to be fighting a boss, there can’t be too many on our side.’
“Grrr…”
‘Besides, your nose will be useful when searching for the humans.’
I patted him on the head and then said out aloud,
“I’m relying on you.”
“Groof!”
Grulf wagged his tail happily.
‘That being said, we’ll move separately only at the end. Because the rooms are close together.’
“I suppose that’s the one good thing about all of this.”
“I don’t know if it’s actually good.”
Right before we left, Kathe opened her mouth.
“You’re talking normally now. Is that really alright?”
“Yeah. They already know we’re here anyway.”
“But I still think it would be better to stay quiet if we’re going to ambush them.”
“Kathe. Calm down and analyze the flow of magic. Can’t you tell that they have cast Magic Detection?”
“…Ah, so they have.”
As I thought, the enemy had a powerful Sorcerer with them.
After all, they had been able to cast Magic Detection without Kathe noticing it.
Kathe’s words and actions made her seem unreliable, but she was still the wind dragon ruler.
That meant she was top class among dragons. She was up there with the best human sorcerers.

She would have noticed it instantly if it had been an ordinary sorcerer who had done it.
“The High Lord knows exactly where we are. An ambush would be impossible.”
“Hmm? But…”
Kathe probably wanted to ask if we could ambush the other enemies at least.
“There is no point in ambushing enemies who are that weak.”
Eric nodded at this.
“Not being able to communicate smoothly is a bigger problem.”
‘Of course, we will use telepathy when talking about something we don’t want them to know. Sorry, Serulis.’
I added at the end. Serulis and Grulf were the only ones here who couldn’t use telepathy.
“…”
Serulis nodded.
And then I took out a sheet of paper and drew out a map of the building.
This was so that the others could get a grasp of the layout.
‘You obviously know this, but I was only able to detect the positions of walls that have been protected with magic.’
‘Yes, that is true.’
‘So, we’ll have to be careful about that.’
Goran said.
That being said, stone and metal barriers did not mean much to the likes of Goran, Eric, and Kathe.
However, it was different for Shia, Serulis, and Grulf.
I continued to use Magic Detection, even while drawing out the map.
This was because I had overlooked the machines the last time.
‘I tried searching again. Unfortunately, there are other magic machines. They probably intend on taking us by surprise.’
‘Then we should pretend that we don’t know.’
Goran said with a laugh.
Kathe had also been using Magic Detection, and she now looked towards me.
‘I wasn’t able to detect any evil dragons here. What about you, Locke?’
‘I didn’t find any inside of the building either.’

‘Hmm. So, does that mean they are outside? I didn’t check outside of the building.’
‘There are. Five very large ones. I think they are too big to come inside.’
Then Eric said,
‘Even if they are not inside the building, they are still close by. We have to keep that in mind.’
‘Yes, you’re right. Locke, you lead the way.’
‘Leave it to me. Goran, you take the rear.’
‘Aye.’
I started to run forward and the others followed.
Grulf was behind me. Eric was next to Grulf.
Kathe walked behind them and even further back was Shia and Serulis. Goran was last.
‘They already know we’re here. So let’s kill them all.’
‘Understood.’
But even if the lords were weak, there was also a strong Sorcerer here.
It would be bad if we got attacked from the rear right when we were facing a strong enemy.
But I had plenty of magic energy left. So it would be best to kill everyone and make sure that no one came up from behind us later on.
Besides, it would be a pain if the rooms had tools that offered the protection of the evil god.
‘Usually, Magic Detection alerts me of them…’
‘Indeed. But if there is someone here that is good with concealment magic, it will be more difficult.’
‘That’s why we have to kill everyone and then search the place.’
Eric and Goran were quick to understand.
I nodded silently and then addressed them all.
‘As for the first room. There are 2 lords and 4 archs. They’re waiting just behind the door.’
‘Understood.’
And then I cut down the door with the Devil King Sword.
Eric and Kathe immediately kicked the rest down and jumped inside.
Before they could even react, Eric thrust his holy blade into the heart of the first lord.
Kathe’s fist crushed the head of the other.
Grulf, Shia, and Serulis killed an arch vampire each. I killed the last one.
Goran was guarding us near the entrance.
Some of the vampires tried to turn into mist or bats as they died. But I didn’t let them.
I swung the Devil King Sword and absorbed everything.

Endbringer
40 years ago, our world believed that magic was merely fiction, and nothing more. But that all changed when it was revealed that magic truly does exist to the public. To that end, a place was created, a place where magic can be studied and taught. And that place is Takamagahara Island, the home of Kurokami Tatsurou, a young man who just wants to live his days in peace. That is until he has a fateful encounter one day, an encounter that would change not only his life but the entire world... Hello there, Shionokami here! This story was heavily inspired by various anime and light novels, I have watched/read along the years! The story is a (true) harem with romance and action, that will be balanced with cute and funny moments between the characters being the norm and action packed fights also taking place!

(un)Lucky
After dying on his hospital bed, Jack is surprised to once again regain consciousness. Turns out he’s in purgatory where he learns that God has been pretty into gaming lately… you already know where this is going, don’t you? Yeah, yeah, I know, another LitRPG story like many others. SO original… But why then do we keep reading them and looking for more? The answer, for me at least, is because they’re usually just plain fun. That’s all I hope my story can be: fun. No fixed releases for now, nor any future plans. I’m just trying to enjoy my time writing it. Btw, the cover is something random I did and has absolutely nothing to do with anything. Don’t ask me why.

It’s been over twelve thousand years since the Book of War was last opened. It was believed to be destroyed during the Great War by the Twelve Warriors and Daughter of the Sun at the cost of their lives. Now, it seems the book has resurfaced, and its new master is seeking to forever tip the balance of power. The stage is being set for another Great War but who can stop the Book of War once and for all? Meanwhile on Earth, the teen members of Greengale’s Action and Adventure Club are preparing for their yearly trip when they suddenly stumble upon a secret their parents have been keeping for years. Now their world is being turned upside down as they struggle to understand the legacy that ties their fate to Mendala and the Book of War. Is their destiny set in stone, or will they forge a different path? No matter what, their choices will bring forth a new era for Mendala. ------------------------------ If you love vast fantasy worlds, rich, fleshed-out characters, and a adventure where your'e constantly discovering new things along the way, then this is definitely a story you'll enjoy. This is a slow-burn high fantasy / adventure with many characters and intersecting plotlines. It’s a quest so lots of adventuring, exploring, and character moments, but not a ton of fighting/action (though there are definitely some great fight scenes as payoff to the buildup). Because it’s a fantasy world with lots of people and new concepts, I try to make it easy so that you don’t have to memorize anything. The narrative will constantly remind you of important people/places/concepts as you keep moving forward. Some things won’t be fully explained right at the beginning to avoid information overload. My goal is that the reader will learn things organically as the story progresses. I use two mechanisms to help with the intersecting plotlines. - Each chapter is named for the (main) plotline it’s following and which part. - At the beginning of the chapter, and anytime there is a scene shift, the location is listed. Also, though this is definitely a portal-fantasy (isekai) it’s different from the standard isekai, especially since the world transfer doesn’t happen immediately. It’s not Lit-RPG but characters gain powers and grow over time. Also, it’s a group of teens that transfer, not just one central character. All of the teens are distinct characters, with their own character-arcs, relationships, powers, growth etc. Hopefully you’ll find this interesting as you’ll see the world and story from multiple perspectives. The story is always in 3rd Person (Omniscient) POV so that it’s not jarring as perspectives shift.
