MMORPG: Rebirth as an Alchemist Chapter 276

[BONUS]
A loud bomb exploded, and with it, debris and dust followed. The players blocking Ren’s path were all blown to smithereens, and those who survived were knocked back a few meters away, with HPs nearing zero.
“Ren, go!”
Hearing Isolde’s deep and thunderous voice, Ren looked in the voice’s direction and found her amidst the smoke at least twenty meters away from him.
Her raven hair danced with the winds, and some strands blocked her face. Her hips were tilted to the side while a giant rocket launcher was propped on her shoulder.
Ren flashed a smile and nodded her way before sprinting to Jibblinplip without stopping. He knew that Isolde helped him without thinking of anything in return despite knowing that she would surely get herself in trouble for what she did. He swore that he’d give her compensation after defeating the World Boss to shut the Gambinos up.
On the other side, the Princess was once again teleported three hundred meters away from the Colossus. In her rage, she cleaved the earth using Demonsbane, but of course, no one was hurt.
“I swear, if I caught you, you little rat, I’d pulverize you with my very hands,” hissed the Princess before blasting off toward the Colossus again.
At the same time, Ren reached a reasonable distance from where he knew his spell would hit the Colossus. He didn’t waste a single second, unleashing all four [Inferno] while simultaneously using a grinding stone and drinking MP potions to maintain the durability of the [Infernal Scepter] and his Mana in top condition.
He couldn’t leave anything to chance. He would give everything to these four attacks. Inferno had a long cool down, and the only thing that allowed him to cast them four times was the skill [Multiattack] in his Mind Palace that ignored cooldowns before it was released.
“Don’t let him take the last kill!”
Ren heard the roaring sounds from every guild, and with his four series of scorching flames that blasted upon contact with the Colossus, a hundred more followed.

No one had the time to marvel at Ren’s spells because they were too busy contesting against him for the kill.
The Princess with her [Judgement] skill, the armies’ mages with a barrage of elemental spells, Scar with his [Death Cavalry], White Unicorns’ Eric with his [Dancing Saber], Ferocious Ravens’ Beatrix’s [Ravaging Tempest], Golden Phoenix’s Silvia’s [Resoluto], and many more, hoping to take the Boss’ last hit.
Amidst the thousands of attacks that covered the sky, only hundreds managed to hit the Colossus. Others simply fell short, and Evie also used [Phantasmal Distortion] in a wide area of players and NPCs halting them mid cast. But those hundreds were enough to kill the giant Ooze once and for all.
Everyone neither blinked nor breathed, waiting for the notification that would soon flash on their screen as the one who killed the Ooze.
Tension rose ever higher as each second passed, and suddenly, a sharp and roaring voice broke the stillness.
“I did it! I did it! I got the Scepter!” blurted a teenager, wagging the Scepter in his hand and jumping for joy. The euphoria got the best of him, or maybe he simply wanted the fame of being the only one who got the prize from the Colossus.
“Idiot! Store it in the Bank! Quickly!” Both Eric and Erica shouted at their member.
The boy was petrified, and he almost vomited when a notification rang on his face.
[Player Ren stole Monarch Sovereignty from you!]
The boy’s face instantly turned white. He looked at his guild leader with bulging eyes and shaking limbs after seeing the Scepter disappeared from his hand. Since he wasn’t equipping it, it was still considered an item inside his inventory, and any items in the inventory could be pilfered with the right amount of LCK.
Eric and Erica felt like they were in a nightmare. They had it! The Monarch Sovereignty was within their grasp! They refused to believe what was happening, and White Unicorn almost passed out from shock and depression.
“Who the f*ck is player Ren?!” the boy roared.

All eyes then went to Ren, who was brushing the dust and debris from his armor.
He reciprocated the stares on his way and tilted his head to the side. “I’m not the only player named Ren around here.”
Erica swept over to Ren, her legs kicking dust as she hurried. “We all know you’re the only Ren capable of doing such a feat.”
“Do you have evidence that it’s me who stole it?”
Eric sneered. His handsome face twisted in menace. “We don’t. But we have a way to find out. That Scepter will drop from your dead corpse.”
Ren smiled sweetly. “You sure? If it were really me, then I would have already stored it in the Bank, unlike your fool of a member there.”
The Albino twins caught their tongues before they shot a piercing look at the poor boy. They would surely kick him out of the group. If only they could, they would even kill him a hundred times for losing a legendary item.
Eric didn’t believe Ren one bit, and he raised his sword against Ren’s throat.
“Are you sure you want to do that?” Ren asked voice calm as his face.
From his side spurted Evie and Leonel.
Eric and Erica briefly shot the two a look and recalled how the Orc managed to kill dozens of players alone while the Blue Mage girl with a Porcelain mask managed to hold the Princess and the Kingdoms’ armies back with her ferocious spells. Even they didn’t saw her doing it, it could only be her based from the reports of their members when they saw her perform a strange spell that halted almost all players back in the Great Valley in the Continent of the Orcs.
White Unicorn couldn’t afford to lose any more of their players. Fighting the Colossus alone already took half of their army, and Jibblinplip was still very much alive and eating. They could kill Ren and his group, but at what cost?
There was still a bigger fish to fight with. Ren and his tiny group weren’t the only threat. They had to look at this in a bigger scale.
“If you’re hesitant, we’ll help you,” Scar stepped forward. “With our numbers against theirs, it’s a piece of cake.”
Black Lion followed with his lead, as well as Ferocious Ravens.
“We’ll help too.” Beatrix was reminded of the Player Ren, who stole their [Class Advancement Scroll] and [Rare Class Ticket]. Whenever she saw anyone with the same name, she would kill them on the spot. That was how furious she was even after a month that the first Guild War was finish.
At Black Lion and Ferocious Ravens’ declaration came other guilds.
With the numerous guilds backing him, Eric grew confident. “What now? It looks like we’ll be taking that Scepter from your corpse after all.”
“You can’t be so sure,” a voice rang from behind Ren.
Isolde broke from her group and went to Ren’s side, proclaiming, “Guns and Knives will kill you before that happens.”
Xian’s expression dropped, but before he could yell at Isolde that Guns and Knives were his to command, another voice rose from their backs.
“As shall we.” Silvia and the rest of Golden Phoenix came to back the World Conquerors.
pa(nd)a no vel Scar’s lips twitched while Sumeri sweetly smiled and waved her little finger at him.
With Golden Phoenix’s lead, other small guilds like Roaring Tigers and Fighting Lambs also step forward to defend World Conqueror. It was time to pay them back for their help in the Guild Wars. Rox, Roxy and Tor thought. Damn the Alvarez family. Their conscience was scarier than his threat for it was eating them alive every day.
“What now?” Ren asked Eric with a small smile playing on his lips. “You still want to take a go at it?”
